he is taller than an orc. the group photo doesn't show show their intended sizes

Long time since I visited the Mods forums properly. I've missed this. :P

Great work Demon xen! I'd love to have them in my game.

Wow Demon xen! I have downloaded all of your previous mods and they never cease to amaze! This one looks like it will not let us down either! Whoah that new Boar rider looks great too :toughninja:

Yes, all my creatures may be used in other mods so long as they are not modified too much and credit is given where due.

there has been a problem with the nordic lich :shocking: He has been scrapped.

Alas, do not worry. I have created a replacement named The Frozen King

There are two versions and I need you to choose which is better.

Oh, too bad, I liked that nordic lich!

Of these 2 I like it better without. What may look cool is having it by his feet so it looks like he creates a frozen mist as he walks...

Maybe do what Maria suggested and put the flames under its feet. Or on its hands. Or maybe just coming out of the lich's eyes, that would be nifty.

Arrggh, the nordic lich looked cool! It's too bad, was it impossible to repair?

I'm afraid it's a really strange bug :( It will attack perfectly normally and then suddenly just stop being animated and will no longer attack. The weird thing is it always happens when I use the frost atronach animations.

I think I may be able to save it if I convert it into a different animation. Perhaps the fire atronach one will look good enough.

That's too bad. What about using the Ash Vampire anim? That is fairly close I believe. Or maybe the greater bonewalker.

I don't make creatures myself so I don't know if either of those would work. I just hate to see that work go to waste.

had some problems with the frost king and had to re-do it.

Can't decide if it looks better or worse now. It definitely seems a lot taller and grander now anyway....

Yeah I did that intentionally... mainly because I was trying to find the reason why the first one went kaput :P

I'll increase it see what it looks like, but to be honest something about it seeming that tall makes it creepy. Maybe that's just me.

Hmm..and maybe you should rework the belt part? And about the effects....I don't know it looks very good without them, but also damn good with 'em! Maybe just a little redone on one of them, and release them both? Just an idea.

Had a bit of a delay on this I was really sick yesterday and unable to do any work on this :(
So it either won't be released for halloween, or will have no quests.

I will release a mod for halloween of them in random leveled lists in tombs and such to work as bosses for those who don't want quests.

I will also make quest mod but that will be released at a later date. I will make it bigger and include creatures from all my mods.

Since the dark entity requires scripting to transform, and therefore needs a designated space I will have to cut the first 3 stages out of this mod and only use them for the quest mod released at a later date.

I'm pretty sure you can attach scripts to Leveled List creatures. See, for example, the herders in PirateLord's Creatures. They spawn other stuff via script, and they're leveled.

I have an awesome idea for the various stages of the Dark Entity (which I just came up with a GREAT name for to go with the quest idea I wrote up). Make the death animation of the first three stages just be the limbs stretching out and the particle effects fading. Then make an "extra" Idle animation for the last three stages consisting of the particle effects flaring up over the whole body and the new parts "appearing" (probably an animation of the normals of each of the "additional" pieces flipping over). I can write the script for this so it works super smooth and looks spiffy, too. ^^ The death of the 4th stage would be the particle effects fading, the thing frozen in place for a few moments... and then it just collapses in on itself into a pile of random pieces. ^^ Tell me what you think!

I'm fully aware you can place scripts on them in leveled lists, dirges. It's just the dark entity is a large creature, and i'll need to place it's own chamber so it can both lore-wise and visually explain it's stages.

I can't do any changing of the animation dirges as these are all created in nifskope. I'm not a modeler unfortunately :brokencomputer: I can write any scripts I need no problem, thanks for the offer though.

Still a bit ill and being on the computer isn't helping. I'll get back to this pretty soon though hopefully.
