Hi New here, I screwed something up LOL, help!

OK so Im trying my hand at making a dungeon. Everything goes fine.

next I add a spot near my home helwhatever that name is.

The door to my dungeon is up on a hill.

So anyway, im following the tutorial from Best in slot, and he says...click the check on Nav mesh.

now mind you im in tamriel not my dungeon, he says something about issues he had, so just check it.

I do. I then decide to go check my dungeon, and every time i get to that cell area, I CTD.

I went back into creation and removed everything I added, but that didnt do it, because I did something to the original game file nav mesh, from what i can figure.

can anyone help me to fix this?

it may also be that i renamed the Wilderness 7,8 to TLT. and now i cant name it back to wilderness?

I checked the nav meshes of the cell and got no warnings =(

I have never made this type of mod, but I really think you should not rename any wilderness cells.

There should be backups of your esp somewhere - try and find the one from before you made this change.

If you cannot salvage it, if it is not too much work, I would delete your esp and start again.

Any save that has had it active might be screwed, but luckily you cannot actually change Master files in the CK - but any unwanted change in your esp that you cannot revert WILL affect the Vanilla game world in ways you might not want it to.

Checking the NavMesh is so that your followers can actually follow you, or so that any scripted NPCs you have placed in your cave can move around freely. I don't think you should be changing the Navmesh on the surface of the game world, though.

You might get more hopeful replies from people who regularly make these sorts of mods.

I did both before and never had CTDs. But that may be a coincidence, maybe the cells I worked on didn't have much references.
