Never played Crysis, Im a console user ( dont hold that against please).
Im really excited thought, I was jealous when Crysis came out, since only you PC users got to enjoy it.
Its so awesome that the rest of us finally get too experience it!
Im sure alot of others feel/felt the same.

Hey jkf1985, welcome to gamesas!

Well, your time to play Crysis 2 will come soon. Hang tight and enjoy the gamesas atmosphere! I'm a PC gamer, but I'm also a console gamer too (I own a PS3).

Anyways, enjoy yourself out here. :)

Welcome to gamesas - as a PC user il try and not hold it against you that you haven't had to spend a ridiculous amount of money to play such a great game xD

Welcome to gamesas. I'm new to this community too.

As a PC player I always wondered how console gamers could play FPS games so good: I mean the joystick has around ten up to twelve buttons and two anolog sticks.

Looooool,im a pc and console gamer. In fact pc is better for shooter, with the mouse is so easy to shoot and there is more precision. But when it comes to the console,is better for rpgs and fighting games, but with the new genration of consoles like the ps3 I admit that after playing killzone 2 i was pretty amazed about the graphics and the gameplay that it brought out. Both pc and console are good, its just a matter of preference.

Welcome to gamesas!

And we won't hold anything against you. In fact, 2/3 if the game sales are likely to be console. ;)

If anything, I am glad this game is going multi-platform. The more people that play Crysis 2, the better off Crysis 3 will be :)

Lesser version huh? (rolls eyes)

At least Crytek will make money with the multi-platform. And I suspect that the PS3 version will be a great version.

All 3 will be equally epic - but the PC version will be more equal than the others ;)

In all honestly, you're not gonna "experience it too". First of all, 1 and 2 are different games. Second, unless they really downgrade the physics and graphics (physics more importantly), then PC version will vastly superior. Along with the fact that we'll probably get our sandbox editor again to make an unlimited number of games/maps. I hope you enjoy your version though ...people underrate the crysis story and gameplay, it takes a lot more skill and less luck than any other fps I've played and the sci-fi in the game is realistic and can explained scientific theory unlike most other sci-fi games.

Hmmm yes... Have fun with your "lesser experience." Run along now, to Walmart with your foodstamps and stone washed jeans from JC Pennny's. The rest of the advlts with play our superior versions with our diamond encrusted fountains that spit out gold coins, priceless gems and rubies. I'll be playing Crysis 2 from the back of my Rolls-Royce Phantom, on super ultra-high maximum settings in Beverly Hills. My man slave will be feeding me a nonstop supply of hot pockets during this worthy past time and you will not be invited, muhahahahahahaaa!

Yeah I have a 360 for quite a bit of my gaming, but when it comes to shooters there is no substitute to the pc. It is not even close IMO. Nevertheless I hope you all enjoy it on the consoles.

It'll be nice they are releasing it for console gamers but ultimately as others have said the console version will be watered down significantly. an xbox or PS3 with a 16 shader card(i believe it is) could not stand up to pc cards with nowadays, if u have a good card, which have 800+. You'll get the gameplay which is nice and very entertaining, but you'll only be getting half of the crysis experience, because graphics are the mark crytek hits the highest everytime. so essentially you won't be getting the eycandy and who doesn't like candy at least in one way or another.

So, this happens when a company changes it's best ever PC exclusive game's sequel into a multi-platform game. Sorry, not that i have anything against you, but i feel Crytek has betrayed the community.
