Any votes for Tom Waits as the dragon? That would just make my life right there. Imagine that gnarled voice shouting at you!

The new theme for Skyrim sounds amazing! It's so triumphant and uplifting. :)

And I am excited for the return of dwemer-created enemies! :celebration:

God's away on business... so Tom won't be doing dragons. :(
If I could give 1,000,000 votes I would.

Game Informer is obviously saving the best for last. They were just getting the boring stuff out of the way.

Dear Beth,
If you want the Dragons to be imposing and frighting, listen to me and Kitoro.

Today's hub update was way better than yesterday's or the day before's.

I'm really happy that they incorporate the theme from Morrowind into the theme song.

Based on the sounds we heard so far they are doing a great job it still might change, but the main theme is the best theme so far.

Just a slight concern. They said there were dragon shout voices for each race, one for each six. Could this mean there will only be 20 voices in the game? I mean that's more than Oblivion, but I'd want to hear at least 4-6 per race. Hopefully it's just the character who's voices are limited.

I'm pretty sure that's for the PC, not the NPCs. When ever has an Elder Scrolls game let you choose your voice?

This is my favourite part in game making. I just love sound design and how they come up with their sounds... marvelous

The same number of times they've had more than 2 voices for generic NPCs of each race.

Thanks! Are the other three videos up on youtube? He also mentions a spell "iron flash" I think? And the ui sound for when a quest gets updated.

I think he said:

'iron flesh'

So when the pc uses a dragon shout does the pc breather fire and slow time or does a dragon get called into battle and do it?

Our hints at the ingame content are coming at the merest of trickles, but today's was enough by comparison to feel like a torrent. Between the centurion, Max, the dragon shout and the theme, it's good to finally have a hubdate that feels so very substantial - I'd say it's the best since the paper magazine's content and codebreaking. But just so you know, GI, our appetites are... insatiable!

I reckon the BTS one was much more informative. I meant there was all that concept art, the reveal of a construction kit, the current loading screen and you never got anything THIS http://i767.photobucket.com/albums/xx316/randomguyface/5thmap.png?t=1294852497 major in the sounds video, did you?

I have a very simple solution for Mr. Lampert's quandry of the dragon voices, I can sum it up in two words: Christopher Lee. ;)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5S_yX0j4-78#t=01m13s would make a awesome dragon. Or a Nord for that matter. Not only in his voice but just listen to where he lives in the interview! Total Nord woodsman.

Also, I really enjoyed the hub update. Mark Lampert seemed like a really nice guy (as does everyone at Bethesda) and I in particularly enjoyed because as I've said before. I love behind the scenes stuff, and have a interest in sound design. :) I can't wait to hear the full version of the theme!

Edit* apparently the #t= feature is not working properly on youtube right now.. Just skip to 1 minute and 13 seconds.

What reveal of the construction kit? Did Todd Howard say they're releasing it?

They never said they were releasing it, but they mentioned it, and I doubt they would make one and not release it especially after what a huge success the modding community has been.
