Also, I know you won't even consider it because it references the previous article IN ADDITION to in-game lore, but read this article. Maybe it will change your mind.Final Report to Trebonius

That's once again not lore. The Imperial Library isn't a BGS site. Also, if you look at what section that article in, it clearly says that it is "Fan Made". In truth, there is no idea what happened to the Dwemer.

It's in video 1 I believe. It's in the rendering screen you can see it on. It's pretty cool to see how the Dwemer sphere has changed over the years. You see it's first incarnation in Redguard, then in Morrowind and now finally skyrim, though the one in the video there wasn't the best it will look because in syncing software it doesn't hold the models to the highest quality because it only needs it for syncing sound effects to it.

In the previous topic someone mentioned the voice of Dragon from BBC's Merlin.

That would be the great John Hurt, who is my favourite Dragon voice, even topping Sean Connery.

That was really cool. I lold when he explained how he was going to make the dragon shout sounds. It also gave us a bit of insight on how dragon shouts are going to work, sort of like draconic language is so powerful that a single word can make real things happen. And when you start saying words in sequence, may the gods have mercy on those who stand in your way

First video, about 1:50.

There was only one video and that was composing Skyrim's theme. I saw nothing in it about a Dwemer Centurion. I think this computer is having trouble with that website as the videos are never all there and are never in the same order. Can you give me the specific name of the video?

At first I was disappointed that it was just about sounds - but it gave me tingles. I agree with that guy about Max von Sydow making the phonebook sound good, that's one hell of a voice!

How about Christopher Walken? The dragon would be all "Whoa! I'm a Dragon, wow!"

That's once again not lore. The Imperial Library isn't a BGS site. Also, if you look at what section that article in, it clearly says that it is "Fan Made". In truth, there is no idea what happened to the Dwemer.

Skeleton Man interview was made by multiple developers. It has more weight than any other opinion on this website.

That's not lore, it's an anolysis of existing lore to make a point. It never claims to BE lore. It's like a scholarly article on Roman poetry isn't trying to be Roman poetry- it's just anolyzing Roman poetry.

If you're so dead set on saying "that's not lore, it's not in-game"... refute the skin argument using in-game lore. But do it by PM, because otherwise you and I continue to spam this otherwise awesome topic. Or shall we take it to the Lore Forum, where you can get multiple opinions from other people who anolyze lore?

On topic, I do like that Dwemer ruins and machines are back. Like, alot. It looks like Beth's trying to take an active step back towards Morrowind, and I think it's going to result in their best game ever.

i actually really enjoyed those videos. probably my favorite update so far. I've always loved the sound design from the games, and hearing how it all comes together was really awesome. hearing a little max von sydow was cool too.
im pretty excited to hear the full theme now. when can we expect that, bethesda?

:o
For a brief period of time they show the sheet music to the main theme!
Bethesda! I really hope you release sheet music for the Elder Scrolls! You would make a lot of money! Probably just from me, but still! :P

Is it an in game shot pulled from gameplay or was it a concept render?

Mine's doing the same, but if you pause the video a little gray circle with an 'i' in it will appear in the top right corner of the video player. Click that, and it will show you the name of the video you are watching, and at the bottom of the player now will be the other three videos and hovering your cursor over them will show their respective names. I think the name of the video with the Dwemer Centurion is called Skyrim's Sound Design.
