I agree half these harsh words should be directed at Sony for making such a crap game system. Everyone I know that has had a ps3 has gotten rid of it. They svck. Period. If your going to play elder scrolls do it on a pc or don't complain when there's bugs.

Yep. The thing is, IGN is not exaggerating AT ALL.

It really is that bad once you play more than 40-60 hours.
Sometimes I just have to turn my PS3 off and wait until the next day because its so unplayable.

I wish I would've saw this before I got the PS3 version....then I would've got it for my 360.

But I don't feel like giving Bethesda another 60$ for releasing it with that big of an issues on PS3.

They are great BlueRay players and have a VERY GOOD Netflix app.

And they have great exclusive games as well. Theres nothing wrong with the PS3. This was on Bethesda's part.

The problem isn't with Beth it's with the ancient hardware these consoles are using, not to mention the way the hardware configured causes numerous issues. A console is more or less an econobox pc, if you are that upset with game performance in some of your games get a pc, if you cant afford one get a job.

Edit: i have a ps3 it's just not beth games, ive had issues with other titles locking up, consoles are only good for fighting games, driving games, and playing blu-rays.

I play on PC with the 4gb exe with not much issues other then broken quests, but I can fully understand that many PS3 users are not happy.

Exactly ps3 is garbage. All you ps3 people I do feel bad that you wasted money on such a crappy system but don't put all the blame towards Bethesda. It should be 50% Sony, 25% Bethesda, 25% you for buying a crappy system without doing research. Yea I said it.

Pc people are sick of consoles holding back games. Developers no longer push the boundaries because there is no point. Consoles have the same hardware as a low end pc from 5 years ago. It's ridiculous.

This. What console players don't realize is that games in general would be much better if they were developed primarily as a PC game and ported to consoles. Everybody wins. PC gamers get games with them in mind and console gamers enjoy better crafted games.

Fact is consoles are available to the masses it's easy and accessible to just about everyone.

Pretty much this, This current generation of consoles have been holding games back for years not to mention they have a plethora of issues with the current generation of games.

Lol use your brain, the ps3 isn't getting "screwed over". It's just a crappy system with all kinds of issues. Bethesda does deserve some blame for even releasing skyrim to the ps3. They should of known better but they were greedy.
