New IGN Todd video

Post » Wed Mar 30, 2011 7:45 am

Epic fail

I inserted my birthday, but instead of putting my actual year there I put 2011... Brain fart. Now the site won't let me enter it again, it seems it actually thought I was a few days old. Oh gawd what a stupid computer :brokencomputer: :brokencomputer: :brokencomputer: :brokencomputer:

Any siggestions what I could do to bypass this? Maybe someone could put it up on youtube? (it's not there atm)

Cookies is the same thing as "page history"? Or is it something else? because I already tried that. :/

Different things. Deleting just your history won't reset it, you have to delete your cookies.

Delete them. Go into your browser settings and there should be an option to delete them just like there's options to clear your history and clear your cache.

I hope racial perks are unique for each race, and could not be substituted with any other perks by other races, so that each race should feel unique in its own way.

Which adds to replay-ability of the game, something like what I have suggested http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1107940-perks-they-can-make-each-play-through-a-unique-experience.

But I just deleted EVERYTHING from the page history and it still doesn't let me look at it, I can't even insert the B-day thing like I could on the first visit. w t f

Deleting page history won't matter, you have to delete cookies.

I mean I deleted everything from the whole tools thing, there was 5 or 6 different things I could deleted, like password rememberance, page history etc etc etc, I deleted everything single everything there, which means that if cookies were there, they would have been deleted too, which means it's not found in the tools section. :/

1. Go to http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager07.html

2. Click on the 2nd most left tab "Global Storage Settings"

3. Make sure this is checked "Allow third-party Flash content to store data on your computer"
Make sure there's at least 10 kb storage disk space that is allowed on the slider.
Make sure "Store common Flash components to reduce download times" is checked as well.

4. Refresh the video page (or just restart your browser) and see if it works.

This could be your problem. Might not be it. But could be.

I could go and check my Finnish textbooks (i lived in Helsinki for a short period). Can't really remember anything except four letter words ... and sausages ...and spirits

Useless to delete history. You *HAVE* to delete those pesky cookies.

Check this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_cookie
It might help.

Have you checked Youtube?
It might be up already. Otherwise, relax. Nothing new except for the different types of prisons thing.

Did you do what I said in my post above?

Also, check the security settings for your browser. Make sure Javascript is allowed everywhere (except for very unsafe sites you know of). Make sure cookies is allowed. Third party cookies can be blocked safely though.
Make sure all plugin-programs are allowed (unless on very unsafe sites you know of).

Always a real pleasure to listen to Todd Howard speak. The man oozes class, and we're very lucky to have him at the helm for our favourite series.
