New IGN Todd video

Post » Wed Mar 30, 2011 2:52 am

He looked super tired. Also I would never shoot at Liam Neeson. I saw Taken

Yeah, I regret shooting him. I assume he is in the process of finding me. I just hope I get to see more of Skyrim before he does find me.

I noticed that too, but he has been doing most of the in person stuff, maybe he had to fly to do the interview or something.

It's likely all of the interviews were done when they demoed the game in Utah. IGN is just slowly trickling out the interview into pieces. Regardless, anyone would be tired flying half way across the country and back demoing the game and making sure development stays organized and thorough. It's a very time-consuming and tiresome job. But Todd is the best at what he does, and he enjoys it.

Geez, Todd is cute.

Ahem.

Anyway.

I'm really surprised that almost all of the footage in this video was in third-person! It made me happy. First-person is overrated. (Just a little bit!)

Is there new footage?

Zomg different types of jails??? Improved crime system?

Todd, I could seriously listen to a 12 hour podcast from you about Skyrim and not get bored. At all.

Lol, i know huh! Its funny, at first glace if i were to JUDGE him i would say he looks like the over-confident smart ass nerdy type dude that needs an ass whippin! But i find myself getting lost in his voice and wanting MORE dialogue and dreamy explanations of development

No, it's just Fallout 3 and Oblivion footage to demonstrate what Todd is discussing in the interview.

it sounded like he said that parts of the main quest will use the radiant story thingamajig. if thats the case and they are big enough parts that could add some replay value to the main quest that is missing in other games. usually once you completed the main quest in oblivion you download the space cheese mod so you dont have to do it again.

Crime system expnaded on, and different jails......sounds good.:)

Geez, Todd is cute.

It's at least good to know I'm not the only one fixated on his incredibly handsome face.
ANYWAY this sounds interesting, I'm guessing the old days of running into a wall for a few hours and gaining levels are over. Radiant story makes me excited but I know that I'll probably be disappointed.

Just throw out all expectations about Radiant Story and forget about it. All it does is add variables to existing quests based on how you play the game. That's basically it.

lol, I'm not gay but even I can appreciate that he's an above average attractive man.

This video didn't really have much new though :sadvaultboy: Guess that's to be expected.

At the end if the article, the editor ends by saying it's "supposed" to be ready on November 11. It better be ready!

I got a video of the hulk bashing [censored] up...

Edit:

... I guess that was an ad?

Nope, that's Dovahkiin with 100 strength.

lol just kidding, I'm 100% sure it was an advertisemant. Basically the only new info given is the "new crime system" and "different types of jails". AWESOME!! :D I can't wait for Todd to go into depth about it :)

By Azura, By Azura, By Azura I need 11-11-11 to come now. This is going to be a long 6 months. :celebration: :celebration:

I love hearing that they expanded the crime system and multiple types of jail. I wonder if skills going down will be kept in like it was in Oblivion. I certainly hope not but it probably will be in and I bet the Psychic Guards are in.

More diverse prison system. Todd says there are "different types" of prisons. Also, different races get special powers/abilities like in previous games.

That was pretty much all the new info.

They should just add some dialogue about guards employed by local rulers often being identified psychics. Suddenly, it's not a defect; it's a unique lore feature!
