FIRST
Lol I usually don't like "first" posts but this seems like a thread that deserves one.

Yes, Todd seems enthusiastic about the "new crime system" - he was smirking like he knows it is going to blow us away

EDIT: ninja'd! :toughninja:

Zomg different types of jails??? Improved crime system?

Todd, I could seriously listen to a 12 hour podcast from you about Skyrim and not get bored. At all.

It was very informantive. I did agree with Todd about Atheltics being repetative.

Geez, Todd is cute.

Ahem.

Anyway.

I'm really surprised that almost all of the FO3/Oblivion footage in this video was in third-person! It made me happy. First-person is overrated. (Just a little bit!)

Good fine, must be brand-new.

Glad to hear them acknowledge the crime system. And I thought it was interesting that Attributes were in the game at one point, but axed.

He looks just like my Dad 20 years ago... It's kind of creepy.

Interesting fact about Third Person (Specifically over the shoulder) angles, is they actually provide a more accurate representation of a person's field-of-view, than the first person perspective.

You know what this means to me? I was right in those other posts where I said regardless of attributes races will still have distinct differences :celebration:

Sorry had to boast..

I also don't remember hearing before about the racial perks, although I suppose it should have been assumed.

(I.e., when Todd mentions that Orcs will have certain specific powers/perks that will be different from perks for other races.)

I really hope. At least, a court system where your charisma or your connections to the underworld can influence the results like in Daggerfall. :)
Most of my thieves in Daggerfall always talked their way out of court and, if they couldn't, the Thieves Guild would help them out. Bribing the judges, kidnapping their cousins... :P

Interesting video indeed!

I wonder what he meant by different jails... does any one else want to see a debter's prison, I always thought they were ironic.

Like you have the city jail, and then you have the dark, rat-filled prisons.

I noticed that too, but he has been doing most of the in person stuff, maybe he had to fly to do the interview or something.

He's tired because this was filmed right after he did the 2-hour demo and Q&A session.
