New Info In "Probably a month"...

Post » Wed Sep 01, 2010 9:17 am

Some one tweeted Pete a few hours ago and asked "When will be a new part of info about Skyrim? And when will be the second wave of the articles in magazines?" And he replied.."Probably a month or so".

So looks like we don't have to wait until E3, in June, for more coverage!

Well this is great news!! I was expecting them to give us a little of something before E3 though. Nice for a conformation!

Yea always nice for a time frame because since the trailer was released we haven't had a time frame other than E3. So now we can expect something in late April and then we only have to wait a little over a month from then until E3 for even more coverage!

We should still get two waves of coverage from late April to early June. Short time span between updates.

You know it's a hell of a game when you count down to new info the way most people count down to actual game releases.

We just have to be patient. They still have alot more to show yet, they'll do it bit by bit, just to keep the interest up. I think it's better this way,it means they can be more careful about what they say, because some people react in such a way, they end up branding bethesda liar's and so forth. We get what we get, when we get it. I think they know what they are doing.
I am one of those people, that likes all info whether it's dev's talking or written info. I love footage and screens, don't get me wrong, but sometimes i think the dev interviews are more informing, and lead to less confusion. We may see bits and bats each month till release. In my opinion when pete said a while back we'll see info with an "r" in the month,i believe that referes to april aswell...but thats just me guessing/hoping. But like i said i just don't want screens and footage,i like to sink my teeth into other info or dev video's etc. :)

Haha that's what we do! Decipher every last morsel of info we get and then hang on every clue for when more info will be released.

I totally agree with you on all of those points, especially the "bit by bit" part. If you think about it, if the devs were to release a whole bunch of info all at one time, it would kill the sense of "anticipation" for any new info on the game. Because if you give it to them "bit by bit," people will be like, "ok, I heard some sweet info, but I can't wait for more!" ;)

Two months would be late May, which would be a couple weeks before E3. With the big coverage Skyrim is going to get in June at E3 I think this next piece of coverage will be a little more than two weeks before E3.

Between April 20th and May 10th, my educated guess.

I agree. That sounds like a good time frame. It should be a reasonable amount of time before E3 and if this new coverage doesn't hit until early May, it still leaves about a month until E3.

Nice. :3
Although..I'm a little apprehensive about too much new information. I really, really don't want to spoil anything. I kind of like how tight-lipped Bethesda is regarding their games.
