I hope we get a video with actual gameplay that will make it into the game. Not like the softshadows, dunmer voice, radiant ai lies from the OB E3 vids.

However, from all the hints Bethesda has dropped, I have to believe that the release of Skyrim will go something like this:

Have you actually listened to Pete Hines podcast!?

He explaind it very well why they didn't include it in the final product and why they are so cautious now when giving information.

The clouds rise from the mountain and we're greeted by a sunrise behind the mountain tops. The Skyrim official theme is playing and building up suspense. We see a wing quickly fly past the screen. Could it be a dragon? The camera falls to the ground and surveys the landscape and comes to a city and goes over it. We see the buildings and the people enjoying their day. Suddenly people point to the sky and run indoors as the theme is reaching it's climix. The camera pans to the sky as we see multiple winged creatures descend from the sky into the town. They are not dragons....they are cliffracers. The Skyrim theme ends and the Title screen appears. :P

This would be so freaking epic!

Remember E3 is still three months away and sure to have some big stuff so I wouldn't expect too much from this countdown. Still nice to know something is afoot though.

If Cliff Racers were back in Skyrim, I'd change my mind about having guns in the game.

People need to let this go.... It wasn't "lies", it's called unforeseen problems in the process with radiant AI, it's something that happens in the making of anything, whether it be game design or so forth. There are time constraints and other factors that make it where they have to cut some things because they won't be able to fix it in time. The radiant AI version they had in Oblivion was still amazing, greater than anything else anyone had done before and after, so with the full and improved version, you can assume it's great. As for the dunmer voice, I would get tired quick with that raspy voice coming from the dunmer of Oblivion. That voice is good but it didn't belong to the dunmer of Cyrodiil. As for soft shadows, the quality was good enough in Oblivion. Soft shadows look great but they are the thing where you get so used to them you don't even notice them anymore. Not to mention that they game had been in production since 2002, it was amazing for the game to have everything it had at the time, those tiny little differences did not in any way affect the game negatively, sorry.

If Cliff Racers were back in Skyrim, I'd change my mind about having guns in the game.

Hmm? I don't get this. Cliff Racers are native to Skyrim, why would it be crazy to see them?

Wouldn't it be annoying if it was just a rick roll? bahaha!! i think i would have to hurt something... But seriously I want it to be an actual gameplay video so I can get a glimpse of what the graphics look like. or maybe a better trailer then a wall moving (even though that made me almost wet myself). Whatever Bethesda has in store, I know it will be great!

I wonder what Harry Partridge's reaction is going to be like to this?

Here's how he reacted to the announcement trailer.

We know what the game looks like. Seeing it in motion should give us a look at the animations though.

Not only that. Screenshots tend to not actually capture the true beauty of the game. You have to move through the game to see how the light plays on the land and so forth. Also, we have to see the wind sway the trees and grass and so on. It's not really the animations, though that is part of it, you just get to truly see the full beauty when in motion. Hopefully we see the PC version, that way we can see the best lighting, shadows and textures.
