Hi, I just decided to get back to Fallout 3 Game of the Year, so this time I would play it on PC. I play Skyrim & New Vegas on it already w/ no problems. After I downloaded it will only go to start up menu (where you can set your graphics and such ) I hit play and nothing. Itry off the Steam site, Script extender everything same thing. It has everything in file except fallout3.ini. I first purchased it on steam and my product code kept coming back as invald so after 2 straight days of that I bought a download from Gamestop, the code worked this time just now no ini. My setup is a 5 month old ASUS all in one with I3, Realtec graphics card, 1T byte HD And 6 gb RAM. Also I'm disabled retired with no real Computer expereince so please consider this when answering, lol. Thanks in advance!

The game will not run from Program Files or Program Files (x86) and needs some minor tweaks. It is all explained in the thread I linked.

HMM..... it would appear so... I may pos other questions on this tonight as I delve into a unknown land for me, sooo stay tuned and thanks!

Basically, move Steam as described in the link, then it should all work as it should move all your games for you. Once you can launch the game, then it should create the INI files for you as described in the install guide.
