New Intelligence S.P.E.C.I.A.L. video - Reanimation?

Post » Wed Dec 02, 2015 2:24 am

So, one thing in the new Intelligence video catches my eye. One of the ending sentences says ''keep the blood where it belongs'' showing the Vault Boy doing something (that seems like using...gasoline...from a gun...?) to heal a corpse.

Maybe we'll be able to reanimate fallen allies?

I took it just to be talking about medical skills. Maby the ability to use blood packs.

That was an IV hanging off of a propped up rifle. Pretty sure it's just the Medic perk - we know we can bring downed companions back into the fight with a Stimpak. And the artwork's changed for a ton of perks since these videos were made.

I'm more interested in the one where Vault Boy was riding on top of a car...

Been confirmed since last week I think:

V.A.N.S.

Let Vault-Tec guide you! The path to your closest quest target is displayed in V.A.T.S.

Intelligence 1, Single Rank

Nothing to do with vehicles.

The chemist perk looks like it'll be interesting.. In NV we had the ability to create some stuff. (I hardly ever used anything but mentats though.) I'm really hoping this time around drugs will be much more necessary and helpful. F1 and 2 they seemed more helpful but that was mainly because of the turn-based gameplay. You had time to think over your actions. In the midst of a real time gun fight I usually don't think about using Jet or Psycho. . because I'm doing fine without them and don't need to spend action points to simply run away from the fight.

Its just the medic perk, if the previous forward to go by, the perk icons used in the video is not the same as the ones used in the chart. Plus since companions cant die in ya service there isn't much use for a reanimate, however I would not be surprised higher ranks in the medic perk lets you raise a companion out of there knockout state faster.

yeah that IV hanging from the rifle looks like it could be a really fun perk, has my curiosity peaked now.
