Hey wait a sec, he said fortify a skill on a WEAPON, you couldn't do that in Oblivion right? Only armor could have a fortify skill

No, I saw it a while ago, but nobody really knew about it until recently, so it may be new for many people. I just know everything about Skyrim, I'm an info hoarder. :P

This was posted earlier, but the thread seems to have fallen off the front page some time ago.

Either way, it is one of the most informative interviews, she definitely used her +2 boobs of speechcraft on Cheng.

.... I'm curious, how is this enchanting system any different from previous games? He might well have been described Oblivion's enchanting and hot keys, with no differences at all.

I do like hearing about several types of Daedric weapons though! :mohawk:

Thanks for shareing

I almost did a facepalm when you asked if the game was meant to be played more with magic because "hand to hand seemed kinda clunky"

h2h has been confirmed, the big uproar a while back was that they removed it as a skill, not as a weapon

Why are people criticizing her for saying the hand to hand combat is clunky? Is there even footage on the net of it? How can you judge? Remember she saw the 30 min demo.
Or maybe she just means the melee combat? In that case i kinda agree and disagree at same time.. doesn't look much better that Oblivion but its not bad for what it already is.

Getting an opportunity to interview somebody and stating "flaws" in their game is not a very good way to attract newcomers to the game. Why not let us judge for ourselves what looks clunky or not when gameplay comes out and tell us about all the amazing things in the game. This is an interview, not a review.

So basically interviewers should brown nose as much as possible eh?

see this is why I like Giant Bomb and rock paper scizzors, in their previews they don't dump on the game because of course it makes no sense doing that on something you haven't played, but the don't pull any punches on what they've noticed. screw hype, hype isnt what Im going to experience after 11.10.11 its going to be the game itself.

So your saying she is there to interview him in order to motivate more people into buying the game? Whats the point? I'm glad she has the courage to make proper interviews.

1st She let him speak
2nd She didn't judge anything for you
3rd She is not there to sell the game

That last question was actually really interesting in a way that lets us see how Bethesda reacts to such affirmation.

"Is the game meant to be played more with magic?"

What kind of stupid question is that? Talk about extremely awkward, poorly-worded, and insulting.
