I like the question where it states what's your biggest regret and they have a picture of Horse Armor next to it

I guess I posted this in the wrong section since it's not really about Skyrim :cryvaultboy:

The title of the interview was rather misleading...

I'm kind of tired of the horse armor jokes. It was their first time testing the waters of DLC and it gets old when people hold Oblivion to the standards of how games do things today. People tend to forget Oblivion was a launch window game when nobody knew how to handle all these new systems the right way. <_<

Okay. Further explanation.

DLC in the sense of how the industry sees it on a console marketplace. I,e how much would people be willing to pay for this or that and what type of content would they be interested in. I'm speaking from interviews they have done. Hell, Pete talks about it in the latest Bethesda podcast.

Other example DLC does stand for Downloadable content. BUT, we differentiate it to only meaning smaller things. Mehruns Razor is DLC. Shivering Isles is a Expansion.
Technically SI is content you download but it's not referred to as such. They had done official plug-ins in the past. But those were free. So, yes. Horse armor was the first DLC for them.

Bethesda Game Studios have better quality than any other game developer in the industry (except for maybe BioWare). That being said, when horse armor was released, most developers were just releasing "theme packs" still (at least for the Xbox). I personally didn't mind it, as the armor looked cool for one, and we eventually got bigger and better content over time. Everyone has to start somewhere, and if you are going to waste money on any game developer's DLC, it might as well be Bethesda.

Are there any regions of Tamriel (or indeed associated other dimensions) that haven't been explored to your satisfaction in Elder Scrolls games that you're looking forward to tackling/revisiting?

I think any place would be fair game when the time came. Games and technology move on, there's so much to be explored again, in a different way, even if it's already been in a previous game.

I know the [censored] are readying for a MW remake, or return based on this comment hahaha. Interesting comment though, and I do wonder what is going on in Todd's head when he says this. Whats in there Todd? What are you hiding?!

Good article, though.

Antibody was one of the leading speculators in gathering infomation in the days before TESV was announced often being the first to share new infomation. As I recall he was the first one to create a thread in CD revealing Skyrim.

Well I made a thread for the community to follow the VGAs like I did the year prior, because it was pretty fun to see how everyone else reacted to the new announcements. A bunch of people in the speculation thread were 100% sure that Skyrim would be announced there, though I was remaining skeptical. http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1146475-video-game-awards-2010/page__view__findpost__p__16780679 So yeah, technically I made the first thread about Skyrim's announcement but it was a lucky coincidence. :P

Haha yea I remember that guy too. Some people were so sure it wouldn't be a current gen game. Luckily it turned out it is.

I was going to post this same thing. They're really getting hammered for that dang horse armor!

They're really good sports about it, which is cool.
