New kind of "cloud" in the divide?

Post » Tue May 08, 2012 1:28 pm

Do you think there will be some kind of "cloud" in the divide, that will cause us damage on sight? :blush2:
I, personally, think that the bad weather will = A:Turn you into a "bloodman" on sight, or B: Cause you a different kind of "poisoning" that will kill you if u don't get a "antidote" for it. What do you think?

It's more of a sandblasting than poison, at least that's what I suppose...

why does everyone assume that the courier in the trailer is a bloodman, maybe it was just a black courier.

Could be what that breaveing mask was on the trailer, due to loads of sand, might cause problems?

We don't :unsure2:

We just asume that we can turn into bloodmen, because there are bloodmen in the divide, and that red color is problely caused by the storms.

The red color is most likely caused by the storms, but those men also appear to be ghouls so maybe they are just fresh ghouls who keep getting torn up by the storm. i'm just saying i think that the courier just had a darker skin color, i could be wrong. i just like expressing my opinion is all.

Do you really want to be a Blood man? I mean really? I think that might be an ultimate fate if your character strays into the wrong areas, in which cases your adventures as the Courier is probably over, but I doubt you will be a Blood man.
IMO.

This is what I'm hoping for. I love the whole facemask and goggles get up, but the only face mask I've got is the rebreather, and as usefull ad that is, I'd love another kind.

This.

My current character is hardcoe and it looks like I'll keep that on for LR, but DM was a [censored] with the Cloud constantly chipping away at my health. That and freaking bear traps crippling my legs every other step because the place is too dark to see the ground.

Man, if the sandstorms are like the ones in Nevada Skies mod we are trully f**** depending when and where they happen.

-7 PE, -3 END, -2 AGL and +70 sneak are the effects and you can't see beyond 2 feet.
If they are radioactive you also gain +4 rad/s.

But they are great for making ambushes, providing you know the location you want to go, of course.

I hope the Cloud stays forever locked up in the Sierra Madre and is never released on unsuspecting gamers again. So annoying.

If you pick the Y-3 implant in OWB the Cloud loses his annoyance very fast.

Yeah i played them in order with my main so i didnt get to think about it, i had the regeneration upgrade from the med clinic at the time; it wasnt so much the damage i could avoid it fairly well, it was just the levels were designed around the cloud in some ways and i just dont get that kind of level design in my fall out experience thats just my opinion but seriously how fun is it to run through haze anyway? :flamethrower: :flamethrower:

I REALLY hope there are no toxic clouds in LR. I hated those in DM :swear:

The toxic clouds weren't that bad in terms of level design or anything. As for DM's faults. It was that Dead Money failed as a horror DLC although Vera's song was haunting, many of the other design elements added an artificial playtime through mass dying, and that the remaining things like quest structure were nothing new. And overall it wasn't quite $10 worth of content.

When I walked in it said "Poison Removed" likely because of my artificial heart. So I guess normally you would be poisoned unless you were wearing one of those breathin' masks.

Me too, I thought it was a glitch, I didn't think of the heart, though I replaced mine with the original so it's only a resistance not immunity. I haven't heard, read or seen, in game, any "clouds" or poisons of any kind besides
