When Mieux dies, are you starting a new character; Martyr?

Nope. He wont die for 8 years, so it'll be a while, unless we do some insane time jumps.

That there was a fine piece of drunken ramble :D

Oh, and to clear things up for Holy, Lyn does actually have feelings for Frank, it's not just the whiskey talking. Also, she isn't as drunk as she appears to be...

In all seriousness, I think we need to make some sort of restrictions on 'weapons' I mean jesus christ, all these numbers people are pulling out their rears.

500 tanks 1000 vertibirds 20 orbital satellites. It's starting to feel like something out of a 14 year olds war fan fic. Thats pretty much why my posts want all this stuff Dark has removed. I mean, seriously, orbital missle strikes in most any fight, hundreds upon hundreds of soldiers, I mean, at least my army is more 'lore friendly'. I don't mean to whine, but it's becoming really ridiculous that I feel like I'm the only one trying to keep it believable in terms of military power.

Sorry, but I just had to make this complaint, but it's just ridiculous at this point.

Usually in RPs people co-operate to make for the most interesting story. Not constantly try to 1-up each other. We've been doing a pretty good job of not following the general guidlines of an RP up until new, so I think either we get things back together and plan things out; everyone agreeing on a general storyline; or we simply reboot the whole RP. New characters, everyone. No one gets to be a leader, just average joe's trying to get by in post-apocalyptic NY.

Edit:

Thanks for the heads up ramendia; I really didn't know what I should make Frank do incase you didn't plan for what he has in mind. Im thinking we should let our characters have feelings for each other, but not get intimate. (It's a PG-13 forum after all) so any time Lyn and Frank are alone, either someone should interrupt, have Gramps walk in, or I'll get messaged by someone..

I agree there's no need for all that. My forces have fairly average weapons, combat and leather armor, a few jeeps and transport vehicles, and maybe 40-50 ships as my faction uses them to trade goods up and down the east coast. Out of the ships their is one battleship which is currently out of commission, a handful of frigates(probably 4, maybe 5), with the rest being yachts and dinghys. Nothing too crazy. Though I can tone the armada down if need be.

I will no longer play as the Lake Federation. Well, I may play as John occasionally, but his army will no longer be in the RP. Alexander Scalatti is now just a trader, a rich one, but just a trader.

@Dark:Not even the damn pre-war government had that many armaments. The Enclave, back in 2240, had the best tech in the wastes, and even you're beating them in terms of armaments. Hell, not even the NCR can beat you right now! No, Not even Caesar's Legion AND THE NCR COMBINED can beat you. How did you have that many tanks and [censored] in a tiny bunker? Only the Enclave has those plans.

@Martyr If Lyn and Frank start getting intimate, you should send a message that looks like this:

Dear Mayor Vercelotti,

Cockblock'd

Signed,

My post demanding Frank not make deals with Snowe until we can agree that his group must disarm

and those arent literal numbers anyones mentioned (to my knowledge), but my point is basically what Holy already said, it's almost become a dike measuring contest. "My army as 10000 ___" Poster X thinks "Yeah? Well I'll have.... 20000 ___! Beat THAT!"

@Ramendia- More like 'Guess who just prevented you from taming her beast. I did'

Dude, what? The GP has 100 MK 2 Securitrons and 300 or so elite troops. 30 combat Vertibirds. The APC transports are just that, transports. They can't fight, they're used for transporting high ranking civilians. They do have one satellite but there's no missiles or anything, just a place for them to see what's going on. Many Securitrons died in the collapse and only twenty or so were intact, the rest, salvage.

Heck, none of them even compare to that of Vegas Securitrons since they're made from salvage.

The Pre-War government has a little more than 300 troops don't you think? Citizen wise, Antium has about 1600 - 2000, mostly original GP citizens and traders who decided to settle.

Actaully I have 70 troopers with a single Vertibird, do you really need 30 Vertibirds? That's enough to carry your entire army.

In Fallout 2 (2242) the Enclave would have had more troopers but only about a half-dozen Vertibirds between them.

See. Already more than NM's population. Why does Snowe even want NM if his city is so prosperous in a matter 1 month?
