Alexander Scalatti

Alex was heavily injured; he could hardly move himself into some cover. I wont get out of this, I know it. The squad was advancing slowly but surely to his position. Alex pulled the light machine gun over his head and began to fire again. "Eat this you commie [censored]s!"

Click!

Out of ammo. As Alex reached into his pocket, he heard several gunshots from above and saw one of the GP troopers fall to the ground. Ann? Alex tried to reload his gun but the pain was too much to bear.

"Arrrg!" He pulled out a 9MM pistol and began to fire, but it only had 7 bullets in the chamber. Gotta make em count.

Mark and Francis

"Francis my man! Are the bombs planted?"
"Yes siree! We got bombs planted ALL over Central Square and the nearby streets! This will be one hell of an explosion!"


They laughed and headed toward Evergreen to plant a bomb underneath the plaza where the Mafia HQ was located.

OOC: I really feel as though I'm more os a side anecdote than an actual role in this RP. It even feels as if my posts aren't even read. So I'm thinking about leaving the Rp, especially if my involvement of the RP wont be directly intertwined with you guys. Also I would have liked to have been elected as mayor. Because the way I feel about the RP is based on the way YOU guys feel about ME, I humbly ask for you to voice your opinion on me.

OOC: Yes, you could always join in. The only reason you seem like a side character is because of how fast this RP moves along. I once didn't post for 5 days and then...POOF. I got lost.
Gauss Project HQ

"Sir, New Manhattan's lit up like a pinball!"

The HQ Director turned around to see the holographic projection literally light up. Tiny dots riddled the Central Plaza.
"What am I looking at?"
"Sir, you're looking at the entire Central Plaza area about to be blown up if we don't get our bomb squad over there ASAP."
"Then send them now!"
The HQ Director radioed William. "Director Snowe sir, we've got a BIG PROBLEM!"

Bomb Squad

"Let's keep this swift people. We've got maybe a hundred bombs that can't be disabled with a simple EMP wave. We're gonna have to get our [censored] in there and disable those bombs!"

The squad moved in, swiftly finding and disabling the bombs. But it was a squad of maybe ten people trying to disable a network of bombs planted. Without a miracle, the result would be catastrophic.

Xeno&Zulu

The Xeno squad let loose another wave of shots from their alien rifles. At that point, Alex had to resort to using a 9mm. "Fire the EB Cannon. DO NOT HARM ALEX SCALATTI."

Once more, the bluish projectile bounced mostly harmlessly, creating very small burn marks where it had bounced. Once more, it detonated, spreading a bluish laser. Thankfully non-lethal.

William

"Director Snowe sir, we've got a BIG PROBLEM!"
"Talk to me."
Sonia clenched harder on William's arm and whispered. "What's wrong?"
William ignored her and continued to speak to the HQ Director. "There are at least a hundred bombs all over Central Plaza. We have reason to believe it's Alex's doing."
"Block all sewer tunnels near Central Plaza and collapse all tunnels leading out of it. Radio the bomb squad and tell them to leave at once."
"Sir yes sir!"

"Now you see Sonia?"
She nodded and leaped back on their bed. "I'm so tired!"
William flashed her a smile and radioed Frank. "Don Frank...I advise you to patrol the tunnels underneath your HQ. There are hundreds of bombs at Central Plaza and the perpetrators are most likely coming to your HQ. Don't worry, the HQ Director and I are doing all we can to minimize damage."

OOC: Ofcourse we read your posts. Atleast I know I do. It's just that you don't post as often as us, not that it's your fault in anyway, it's simply the laws of natural selection taking place. More active people are more preferred. Since Zerker posts frequently, and there's no "one character per user" limit, It made sense. I would love nothing more than another member of the RP to take the place of a faction as it would make things 10 times more interesting. Unfortunately if we do so, the RP would be at a stand-still until you post. You ofcourse aren't as consistent a poster as either me, Alex, or Zerker, again, it's nothing to be ashamed of, simply a fact. By taking a lead role, you're holding everyone else back at your own mercy, and that simply isn't fair.

In the current state of affairs, I admit you are playing the role of a side character, but if you remember back when my character was unconscious, I was wholly shunned. Similar to Alex's earlier posts, where what he did had little to do with the grand scheme of things. Back when all the characters were at your characters' shop.

Mark and Francis

"Uh Mark," Francis gasped. "We have a problem, uh, there are guards in the sewers and the bomb squad is headed toward Central."
"No [censored]!" Mark replied. "We dont have any more time! Just detonate the bombs!"
"But we have not finished the mission!"
"Do IT!"

Francis reached into his pocket and pulled out some gum.

"Ooops?"
"[censored]!!! Francis you idiot!"
"Mark..Its in your hand."

Mark blushed and pressed the button.

Alexander Scalatti

The grenade detnonated and tossed Alex several feet into the air. As he landed, he heard a large cracking noise. I cant move..darn. Ann was still shooting down at the ground but she was missing horribly.

Alex turned his head; that is all that he could move at the second. He lifted up his left arm, but couldnt move his right. Both of his legs were broken. I guess its my time.

Suddenly, Alex heard a beeping noise grow faster and louder.

"Oh [censored]!"

BOOM!! The bombs had detonated.

Gauss Project HQ

"They've detonated."
"Close the [censored] door!"
"Sir, that'll trap the bomb squad in there forever!"
The HQ Director looked at the manager with a sinister glare. "CLOSE THE DOOR!"
The manager sighed and pressed a button, sealing in the blast from both the Gauss Project tunnels and the New Manhattan Mafia buildings. Of course, there was nothing to stop most of Central Plaza going up in flames.

"Sir...what should we do now?" The manager asked intently.
"Round up those responsible and bring them to the Director himself."

At those words, nearly 80% of all the Securitrons that weren't covering an area headed near the remains of the Central Plaza. Much of it wasn't as damaged as the explosion might have suggested but was unusable for any building site. The ground had massive cracks and some even had gaping fissures in them like the aftermath of an Earthquake.

Xeno Team

"Take him to Director Snowe AGAIN...and take that girl trying to get covering fire. Anybody who kills either of them will be shot."
The two teams seized Alex once again but the massive explosion shook them off their feet. "What the [censored] was that?!"

Their radio chimed in to give the answer. "All units do not panic. Central Plaza is in ruins and we have the Mechanized Units dealing with it."

They looked up to see a girl missing most of the shots and all the shots that hit were hitting their bullet proof vests, no where near the head or limbs. "Fire EB-X cannon."

The person with the EB cannon flipped a switch and shot another blue projectile very close to Ann's position. "And...KABOOM."

Ann Scalatti

The explosion from the grenade knocked Ann off her feet and flung her into a couch. I'm glad that I fell onto my couch! Ann looked out the window and saw Central Square in flames.


Alexander Scalatti

The explosion knocked all of the GP soldiers off their feet. Damn it Francis! I told you to not detonate the bombs until we were ALL in the bunker! Alex took out some knives.

"Come and get me Gauss Project [censored]s!"


Vladimir Etseye

Vladimir took out his sniper and sniped a water plant worker. He jumped down onto the street and changed into the wokers's clothes and took out his badge. Vlad walked toward the gate and showed his fake badge.

"Welcome Mr. uhhhhh, Vallisum?"
"Da! Thats me!"
"Go right in"

Vlad walked into the control room and typed in some passwords. Alex said I was meant to direct the water into Rabithead but ahh.. how will the new mayor feel when his office is under FIVE feet of water!

Vladimir choose to direct the water to the Empire Estate. After doing so, the water began to rush towards the Estate.

"Ha ha!" Vladimir jumped into the pipes to escape.

Gauss Project HQ

"Seal all sewage entrances and exits. We lost Central Plaza, we won't lose anything else."

The manager started to press a couple buttons and soon, all emergency doors shut. All water going in and out of New Manhattan abruptly stopped and all water from then on was taken directly from a small underground spring near the GP base.

"If it's a war they want, it's a war they'll get..."
"What are you proposing sir?"
"Gas the sewage tunnels that aren't leading to the GP base."
"Yes sir!"
In minutes, the deadly neuro toxin flooded the sewage tunnels slowly but efficiently.

Zulu&Xeno

"Come and get me Gauss Project [censored]s!"
Alex pulled out a knife and Ann was out of commission for the time being.

"Zulu team, go up and secure that girl. We'll take care of Alex."
One of the Xeno team marksmen shot a small bolt at Alex's arm and all pointed the gun at Alex. At the same time, Zulu team started to proceed up to the Penthouse and held Ann at gunpoint.

Francis and Mark

"Uh Mark, we got some gas a' coming!"
"Ok, uh.... umm......uh.....where is the nearest manhole?"

Francis looked at a map.

"Next turn to the right."

Mark and Francis ran as fast as they could toward the manhole and escaped just in time. Mark however breathed in some of the gas and was coughing heavily when he reached the surface.

"Here is some buffout, we need to get to the bunker!"

Ann Scalatti

Some men burst into the door and pointed guns at Ann.

"Alex! Help!!"

Alexander Scalatti

"Alex! Help!" The shrill words rang into Alex's head.

"You get away from her you [censored]s! If you even touch her, I will rip your liver out and stuff it into your throat...alive!"

Zulu&Xeno

"Alex...we won't kill either of you. As much as I'd like to execute both of you were we stand, the Director wishes to see you alive."

The team in the building seized Ann by the arm and knocked her out with some sleeping gas. The team surrounding Alex approached him slowly and grabbed Alex by both arms. The Xeno Sargent radioed HQ. "Sir, we've got Alex Scalatti and Ann Scalatti. We have specific orders not to kill either of them."

"Alright, we'll bring a Securitron escort. Wait hold on...we have reason to believe Alex isn't the only one near us. Thermal radar shows no other signs than that of what you described but the explosion was obviously orchestrated by Alex or somebody close to Alex."

The Securitrons were deployed but because of the shortage of people trying to defend the mafia and kill off the New Manhattan soldiers, the entire team was paranoid and scared that a convoy of soldiers might attack at any moment.

When the soldiers were looking away, Alex took out his radio and whispered into it,

"Vlad, Francis, Mark, and Jack, escape, leave, go far away, they have Ann and I." Alex stached the radio into his bag before the soldiers looked at him again.


Vladimir Etseye

Vlad almost teared up when he heard the broadcast. "Da, I do as you say." Vlad took out his radio but turned off Alex's signal,
"Meet me at the Empire Estate, the first floors are now under water!"

Mark, Francis, Paul, and Jack.

"Yes Vlad." Francis yelled into the mic. Mark was horribly sick after inhaling some of the gas. Paul, the medic, did everything that he could do.

"We need to get him to the hospital." Paul said confidently.
"We wont make it!" Jack yelled.
"DO we have no other choice?" Francis asked sarcasticly.

Jack nodded as they ran toward the hospital.

William&Sonia

William left the GP base in a convoy of about 10 Securitrons on every angle, moving in tandem while facing every direction while Sonia was clinging to his arm. The two made their way near the main battleground and looked at the captured Alex and Ann. "Great work Zulu and Xeno team...I'll take care of it from here."

The two teams shuddered and saluted the Director before backing off and checking the areas. "Alex Scalatti, again being the 'terrorist' of our empire. You know, I really should have used your wife as an experiment." He turned to Ann. "Ah yes...we do have quite a bit of people itching to test out our new Gauss Rifles and Ion Rifles."

He took out a pistol, similar to that of a Plasma pistol only coloured blue. Sonia clenched his arm tighter and looked meaningfully at her boyfriend. "Please don't shoot...not yet."

William gave a reassuring smile and gestured to the Securitrons who were just coming in. "Take Alex and Ann to the Empire Estate where Don Francis is. We have equal power and I'll be a rat's [censored] to break such a promise."

The Securitrons grabbed both Alex and Ann by the arms and started to drag the two towards the Empire Estate. Then the HQ chimed in.

"This is an automated distress message from Empire Estate. The first floor is half drenched in water and is being cleaned up by GP engineers. All Gauss Project workers are to be advised NOT to go anywhere near the Empire Estate."

William sighed. "Alex, you really have to make things difficult don't you?" And kept walking with the Securitrons and the two teams close behind and in front.

Alex glared into William's eyes. "If you even touch Ann, I will come back one day, and ruin your girl here as well." Alex turned his head away and spoke again,

"Do you know why I did this?" He asked, "I did this for freedom, for liberty, for justice. Just by the way you talked to Ann, I can tell that you will be evil tyrants. Maybe I should just call the Lake Federation for an assult? Or what about the Enclave? Maybe the BOS? They sure as hell do not like tyrants."

He turned to Ann and reassured her. "Ann, they wont hurt us. They know I am from a vault." Alex spoke up and put emphasis on some words, "It even has a GECK in it."

OOC: Thank you Holy Assassin, your post was both well thought out and well orchestrated, and helped me -- being a man of considerable common sense -- understand what the cause and effect was in relations to this specific RP. This post WILL become an actual post, I just wanted to make you guys, specifically Holy, read this.

Sonia started to sniffle at Alex's words and William glared at Alex before a small smirk crossed his face. "To put things in perspective, the Resources Wars in Pre-War society lasted about 20 years. Our attack on a large Lake Federation City took an hour or two."

"William...maybe we should just leave..." Sonia said through a couple sniffles. William reassuringly gave her a wink. "Don't worry. We'll win New Manhattan and hold on to this city. My Securitrons and soldiers could beat them anyways."

William's ears perked up when he heard "GECK". "Alex my boy, you're full of surprises. Where is the GECK?"

Evander Jamison

"Evander, I'm not sure if you found Alex in there or not, but we got some guy out here so I think you should hurry your ass up."

Evander and George stormed into the room, breaking the glasses and snatching the two hostages, neither of which they knew. At gunpoint, they led Evander and George back out to the tank, which was now facing a whole new group of soldiers, who wore the same uniforms as the two guards Evander and George had. Evander could see that Hayley was also aimed at them with her pistol, but as long as she wasn't shot he could keep his cool. He pushed his Railway Rifle further into the kidney of the hostage.

"It seems we are at a standstill, except if I give my man her he order, he can blow you guys to bits. So I think you should listen to me...I want Alex Scallatti, then you can have your guys back, alive."

OOC: This all is taking place slightly before Vladimir flooded the pipes, and sightly before Alex was already captured.

Alex was about leave with the soldiers when he heard William say something,
"Alex my boy, you're full of surprises. Where is the GECK?"

Alex turned toward William,
Why must I blabber my big mouth everywhere I go? "I aint telling you just yet, I want you to make me a promise...promise me that you will NEVER hurt Ann or I."

OOC: I don't understand. Whose Evander talking to?

William&Sonia

"Of course, I have no interest in hurting you so long as you cooperate. Once you tell me where the GECK is, you could either stay in this oasis and be an integral part of the rebuilding effort or leave."

One of the soldiers started to say something to Alex before William stopped him. "Take our friends to one of our suites. Give them every luxury we can allow."

The escorting Securitrons let go of Alex and Ann, still having their weapons aimed at them.

Alex turned toward William. "The GECK is located at Vault 109, my vault, which is located under Times Square. To enter, go to the old Army Recruitment Center and you will find a switch."

Ann raced into Alex's arms. "Now William, I will stay as long as I can. Several armies are fast approaching and I do not want to be caught in the middle of a war."
