Don Frank Vercelotti
The Don nodded as Director William Snowe and his girlfriend drew away, all the while checking the woman out. Damn, she's got a nice ass. he thought to himself, putting on his signature smirk. Frank then called several of his closest men up to his office to explain the latest turn of events. As they all entered one by one, they took a seat and waited for the Don to begin.
"Gentlemen." Frank began. "Things have changed, they have changed a lot since I first started, since New Manhattan first started, since the Mafia first started." he continued. "We came from humble backgrounds, and all shared a feature; desperation. This desperation forced us to do many things, not all necessarily honorable, but all of them great." He said leaning forward. "We now, are one of the leading factions in this city. Behind the scenes, we run things. We decide who lives and who dies, we decide what goes on and what doesn't, we call all the shots, and we stop what we don't like." he raised his voice slightly. "No one would dare come in our way, but like I said; things have changed." he waved his arms about.
"We are at the verge of a war, friends" he said, after a long pause. "A war against several potential threats, but this time, we are being backed by the Gauss Project, this time we are being led by me, Francesco Palomera Castigleone Da Vercelotti, the Don." he announced, riling his fellows. "Things may have changed, but war.. war never changes." he added solemnly.
"In the next few weeks, I shall be trained to lead a "Second Legion". A defensive branch of the Gauss Projects forces. Men, prepare yourselves, and gather everything you have, things might get ugly. Do whatever you must to survive, and win" he said. "And remember, any casualties we may incur, any war crimes we may commit, anything we do; it's just business." he completed.
After the speech, each man stood up, and began clapping heartily. The Don had just explained what would take place in the next weeks, the beginning of a war between the Gauss Project, and several other factions. As the Don had said; "things might get ugly".
