Alexander Scalatti

Alex yelled at Adams, "Hold off these Brotherhood [censored]s, lemme get to the GECK!"

Before he could get an answer, Alex began to run deeper into the vault. Most of the mutants were dead now. Good. Alex took a left into the residential quarters. He passed several apartments before finally reaching his own. Alex opened up the sliding door.

There, right in front, lay Alex's mom and dad's bodies. He closed their eyes and entered his room. He opened up his bag and began to fill it with stuff from his room. He then opened up his safe and pulled out a note.

Dear Alex.

You're 14 now, and I can now tell you the passcode to enter the GECK room. The passcode is 7135A. Use it well.

Love,
Your dad.

Alex put the note into his safe before he went to classes that fatal day. Alright, lets do this. He left his apartment and proceded to the GECK room. He typed in the password, and the door opened. As soon as he opened the door, some music started to play.

Welcome Vault citizen! Congratulations! Since you have opened the vault door, the password has now been known to you! Inside the GECK, or Garden of Eden Creation Kit, are things to begin your new life outside! Enjoy!

Alex expected some fancy high tech machine. " What the hell? Just a tiny case? Is this what we were fighting for??!?" Alex picked it up steaming with rage.

He began to ran back toward the vault entrance.

Supreme Commander Byron

"Tell me Mr....Byron is it? Are you a man of ambition? If so, I have just the bargain for you. Everything to lose should you decline, and Everything to gain should you accept."

Byron wondered a bit, did he really want to surpass the Director? No. He was loyal to a fault and even more so after that. "I would never betray Director Snowe. He's not my boss, he's my closest friend and associate." Byron looked at the Securitron that Justin had taken control of and some "new player" that marched straight into his office and had the audacity to propose an alliance.

But Snowe told him specifically not to wage war with any faction, no matter how small. He stared straight into the screen of the Securitron. "I believe that is a threat. And we at the A-Zodiacs don't take kindly to threats."

With a wounded tone, Mieux said to him, "Oh come now, betrayal? I meant nothing of the kind, had you the ambition, and perhaps the kind heart, you would make an excellent protege to all my work. But, no matter, I'll simply expand my borders to the opposite direction. Will I go to war with you? Of course not. I have half a mind to call you a fool to turn down such a grand opportunity, but, we all have our loyalties. Well, do stand back. Perhaps you'll reconsider becoming groomed as my protege. So long as your city makes no attempt to assault Arcadia, my offer still stands. Now, as I stated, stand back. Au Revoir." rolling backwards 6 feet and exploding, he had officially left negotiations.

His purpose for destroying the robot was not hostile, but rather, that Securitron had small snippets of code showing just how high end his systems were, and Justin, always playing a bluff, liked to make himself appear small to most, and menacingly powerful to those he wanted from. If all knew he was running three government ZAX systems and various other lesser supercomputers, all Robco models, he'd likely be sought out by high end militant factions. But, he still had one other possibility. Colonel Adams, even though he knew Adams would likely never leave the Enclave, if nothing else, a secure deal with the Enclave would mean securing his city, but, without a protege, who would carry on his empire when he dies ten years from now? He slumped in his chair, his age catching up with him mentally, his immortality, or so he thought, had finally steered it's course, knowing his own demise was inevitable, he sighed, downing another glass of scotch with bitter agony in his heart. No one to carry on his work, his secrets, he was so close to repairing the power grids that had died 200 years ago, but if no one could carry on his work, it would all be for nothing.

The Securitron moved back about 6 feet and exploded. Byron detected it was obviously to keep his secrets from being revealed. After all, if it was a declaration of war, Justin would've used the napalm installed. He sighed. "I'm in some deep [censored]."

He radioed William about the contact with Justin.

William Snowe
William was still in the Generator room, watching the colours of the Plasma Lamp dance around. To think that such a small object could create such an immense amount of energy was beyond him. But the colours of the lamp did little to distract him as his mind immediately turned to Sonia.
Was it right? No...Dear Sonia...she forgave me even for torching her village to the ground. What did I do? Just a day from my wedding day...
He was lost as the colours of the Lamp started to enchant him even more, soothing his broken mind and soul from the ravages of what the battles and stress did to his mind. This had to be some sort of therapy as William seemed to get better and better.

William's thoughts were interrupted when a call from Byron rang in his pocket. Still soothed by the colours of the Lamp, he answered in a very smooth tone. "Director William Snowe..." He said very smoothly with a serene tone in his voice.
"..." Byron was silent on the other end, probably in surprise at his serene tone when the word went out that William was collapsing under stress.
"Er...We've gotten in contact with Arcadia and specifically...Justin Mieux, the leader of Arcadia."
"Tell him I'll meet him in his turf oh...three days after...my...just three days later." William said, realizing Sonia might not even forgive him from that. She was sensitive from birth, timid by nature, but now, he really [censored] up.

Guess I'll give the Don a call to see if Sonia's there...

He dialed the number and tuned to the New Manhattan Mafia's frequency before speaking to the Don. "Frank?" He asked, his voice still very serene. "Is Sonia there?"

Captain Butler

Butler winced as he was thrown aboard the vertibird. He could hardly move, no matter how much he struggled. I just wanna fight; [censored] sitting around, just let me fight, dammit! Even his thoughts added to the headache, which wasn’t helped by the roaring rotors.

The Captain did, however, manage a small, weak smile as Briggs boarded. Better than nothing.

"You holding together Butler?" She asked in a concerned yet caring way.

No, not really. “Yeah… yeah, I’m fine.” Butler grimaced with each word, but enjoyed the warmth provided by Brigg’s caring embrace. He liked her, but couldn’t feel any love. In fact, the Captain had never had any infatuations for any women, much like Colonel Adams. Probably a dyke anyway, Butler laughed silently, before noticing the deformation and cracks in Brigg’s power-armoured arm. His eyes widened slightly.

“[censored]… w-what the hell happened to you? That arm, it looks like it’s been to h-h-hell and back.” Butler began to cough violently, specks of blood sailing out from his mouth. He fell back in his seat slightly, gritting his teeth.

Colonel Jack Adams

Adams, coughing gently, blinked and rubbed his drowsy eyes, fighting for his sight. Gonna need [censored] glasses soon. Picking up his trusty plasma pistol, the Colonel hauled himself up. He blow a heavy sigh of relief at the sound of the vertibird swooping down – his favourite noise.

The vertibird took off back to base, and silence began to dominate. It was calming considering the massacre which had previously ensued, though the stench of death was still strong in the air; thankfully, the majority of it lingering around the Brotherhood’s position. Adams grinned as he strode over to a very special Paladin – Butler’s attacker. After removing the helmet, the Colonel’s heavy boot slammed down on the soldier’s lifeless face until it was nothing but a distorted mess of blood and bone. Satisfied with his artwork, Adams brushed his hands. His attention diverted by the President.

"Butler should be fine Colonel, he's a big fellow and he's in good hands."

“I’ve no doubt about that, Mr. President, but that [censored] there,” Adams said, pointing to the damaged Paladin, “, well, he got was coming to him.” He winked, before kneeling down to inspect a fallen Enclave soldier; the Hellfire Armour was distinguishable from a mile away. Hmmm, Sigma. The Colonel’s bright smile darkened somewhat, but was hardly noticeable; he had little feeling for Squad Sigma, and his death was honourable to say the least. He ripped off the trooper’s holotags, trying to decipher the engraving. Rest in peace, Lopez. Jack placed the chain in his pocket.

Adams stood up straight, once again rubbing the dirt off his uniform, and addressed Sutler. “All right, Mr. President, let’s not tarry. Scalatti’s already rushed off to the GECK. We better get to the Chamber now in case he tries something, or more likely, screws everything up."

All Enclave personnel began to move. Their long, heavy breaths could be heard through the power helmets as they lumbered sluggishly. Adams turned back to the President. “Victory… it’s so close, isn’t it? You can almost taste it.”

Captain Briggs

Briggs looked down at Butler, she was a modest, red-haired women in her mid-thirties; she was sat on the floor of the Vertibird, her arm around the wounded Butler.

“[censored]… w-what the hell happened to you? That arm, it looks like it’s been to h-h-hell and back.”

"Took a few shots Butler, nothing some Med-X and a few days rest won't heal, you're worse, your going to be off-duty for a while."

She dabbed at the blood oozing from Butler's mouth with Three-Dogs Headband.

Acting President Alan James Sutler

Sutler admired Adams's handiwork, reminded him of the time he killed and interogated the Paladin that him been tracking him back in 2250. He glanced down at the fallen Sigma Squad trooper,Be seeing you Lopez.

“All right, Mr. President, let’s not tarry. Scalatti’s already rushed off to the GECK. We better get to the Chamber now in case he tries something, or more likely, screws everything up."

"Of course, Kefling, Carter remain here on guard. Sigma, Autumn lets move."

They proceeded through the Vault to where the GECK Chamber was, Sutler following Adams.

“Victory… it’s so close, isn’t it? You can almost taste it.”

"Yes Adams, it is palpable isn't it, with the GECK secured and eventually all the resources of this Vault stripped, we shall have all we need to begin rebuilding."

Alexander Scalatti

Alex was steaming with rage. This tiny case is what we almost died for??! [censored]! Alex stomped his way toward the Enclave squad.

He passed several Enclave soldiers who were cheering at the sight of the GECK. Alex then proceded toward the commander and the President.

Alex took out the GECK. " Who will take this [censored] case?"

Acting President Alan James Sutler

Alex was stood before them in the dimly lit corridor, a look of fury on his face.

"That would be me Mr Scalatti," Sutler said smiling, he reached out and took the case from Alex; he looked from Alex's look of bewilderment and fury to the case now in his hands. "Did you expect something more, Mr Scalatti? You expected some miricle machine, or some grand-golbal communication device? This case is our rebirth, the fact that you fail to understand the gravity of this case astonishes me, please finish your business down here and report you departure from the Vault to Sergeant Carter."

Sutler prepared to continue down the corridor when he stopped. "Thank you Mr Scalatti for your assistance in this important matter, I may try to make it up to you someday at my discresion."

"Doctor Preston, Mr Robinson, you know your orders; the Vault's Administration department is not far away."

Now began the next phase in the Enclave's operation, the GECK was secure, they could truly begin to rebuild or atleast build something. Now came the long and boring part, everything in this Vault, from the spare waterchips, to any portable generators, the Jumpsuit manufacturing machine to even the pool cues in the recreation storage was to be boxed up and taken back to the bunker, everytihng that would not be able to be produced at the bunker would be secured as they would most likely never be returning here.

OOC: can't believe this is nearing thread 5 already! :celebration:

Adams cringed as the steaming Alex rendezvoused with the remaining Enclave personnel, the GECK flailing and waving around in his grasp. What the [censored] do you think you’re doing!

A wave of relief washed over the Colonel as Sutler snatched it from Scalatti’s hands; the GECK was now in a safe place – the ultimate instrument in America’s revival was finally secured. Adams beamed with delight; this was the Enclave finest hour – all enemies eliminated, nowhere to go but up. And it’s all because of me.

Hugs were shared from soldier to soldier and Adams received numerous pats on the back from his men. “You’re the man, Colonel!” they said, their sheer joy visible through their covered faces. Pride seeped from Adam’s heart, and began to swell up his entire body; puffing his chest and walking strong, he began to pick up any valuable tech and placed it in an Enclave create, until he caught sight of Sutler dismissing Alex Scalatti. His smile transformed into a scowl.

Adams looked left and right, inspecting his surroundings, before sneaking up on Alex and turning Scalatti to face him. “Look, I really shouldn’t be doing this; God knows what’ll happen to me if Sutler finds out, but you’ve done the Enclave, and the country, a great service. You stand a hero, a shining example to all good Americans – your efforts merit a reward,” said the Colonel in a hushed tone; he handed Alex a small radio. “This’ll allow you to contact me, and only me, when you’re in dire need of assistance. But let me make this clear: what you have in your possession is not a toy – do not abuse it. Oh, and if you betray me, I’ll find out, and you’re as good as gone. Understood? Good. Now, Sergeant Carter waits,” he said, pushing Scalatti away.

Still strutting with a smug grin on his face, the Colonel addressed the President, remembering Sutler demanded his attention before they encountered Gauss Project.

“Mr. President, I recall you requesting my attention earlier, before you arrived. In Butler’s words, ‘something big had turned up’. Care to enlighten me?”

OOC: Sorry if my ‘gift’ to Alex doesn’t make sense, but I’m not great with my science, so my explanation on such gadgets will be very simple.

Alexander Scalatti

Alex faced the president. "The day that my vault well, died, I was going to see the GECK for the first time..but right when I was about to enter the room, the mutants came. I expected as bit more from the GECK."

Adams walked over and handed Alex a radio.

Alex nodded. "If you're ever in New Manhattan, come to my casino." Alex paused for a second. "I also control much of the cities trade...if the Enclave needs some weaponery, I can arrange it. Hell, I can arrange almost anything for you guys.'

Sutler smiled to himself as Autumn squad embraced each other in celebration, Whatever happened to a good, gentlemanly handshake, we're soldiers for God's sake, Sutler thought. Sutler shook hands and patted backs with all the troops, he was trying to keep a cool head for now but he was damn pleased, they were finally on their way forward. Alex slinked off somewhere and the Colonel followed him, Sutler would have to speak with him about that, he took a would have to find a supply closet down here and get to work taking the panelling off the walls for parts. The Colonel returned and Sutler approached him, they shook hands as stiffly and formally as usual.

“Mr. President, I recall you requesting my attention earlier, before you arrived. In Butler’s words, ‘something big had turned up’. Care to enlighten me?”

"That can wait for the time being. Look Adams we need to have a word, Briggs told me that you were getting rather chummy with Mr Scalatti on the way here, even left Butler out in the cold, offered the spare seat to Scalatti instead. These people, these wastelanders cannot be trusted; I know he came from this place but you saw the fool, didn't even know what a GECK was, I spoke to him in my office before we came here and he much prefers being a mobster on the surface than being down here, mutants or not. These people are our enemy, they need to be exterminated if we as a species are ever to survive this nightmare. Your mentor and friend, my friend, Autumn he thought the same as you, he thought he could build a Enclave-wastelander society and look how they thanked him, look how it ended up for him. He was a damn fine soldier, and a damn good friend, me and him had been friends since the Oil Rig, both born in 2222, he was a bit older, educated together, fought together, we fell out over a difference of opinion and I never had the chance to say I was sorry to him before he died. These [censored] savages are our foe, I've had more experience living amongest these people than anyone alive, hell, probably more than anyone in the whole Enclave, you will have been a kid back in 2250 right? I spent a year crossing this nation, from fear of being caught in California through the great dust-storms of the mid-west back to Raven Rock and nothing I saw contradicted by pre-concived opinions about the wastelanders. Now you and I lock horns frequently over many matters, including this one, but I am telling you as an expert that these people are scum, as a superior officer who doesn't want to lose you talent, and, well not as a friend but certainly someone who knows you don't deserve to die because mark my words, you keep helping these people and they'll have a hand in your pocket and a pistol to your neck." Sutler took a step back and breathed deeply. "Don't just blow this off as 'the silly old fool on one of his rants', I am dead [censored] serious about these bums, [censored] 'em all, they're an impeidment to progress and we can work without them, operate under the radar like we used to in the good old days..."

Sutler checked his watch. "It's getting late Colonel, I'm going to start taking these plates off to get at the ventilation system before I'll turn in for the night, got a big day tomorrow, got to get this [censored] organised, got to keep this place secure, and besides, Dead Money is released too so it'll pay to get some rest. Be seeing you Colonel."

Sutler walked off down the corridor looking for a supply shed.

Lyn Grave

Lyn laid on the bed, with her wet hair soaking into the bedding, and listening to the water of the shower. It wasn't long before she heard a knock on her door. "The Don is ready to see you" The man on the other side of the door said. Lyn got up and walked into the bathroom to turn the water off. The mirelurk followed her as she exited the bathroom, and the wolves jumped from the bed as she opened the door. "Lead on" She said simply as they walked off toward his office. More dirty looks from the group in the building followed her as they walked. When they got to the office, Lyn said a quick thanks and opened the door. She took a quick glance at the man seated in front of the desk, then took a seat across from him. The wolves took their usual places at her sides, and the mirlurk stood behind her.

"Nice to meet you, my name is Lyn. I would like to thank you for the hospitality. It was nice to get a decent bath." Then, she started to grumble "My baths for the last few years have consisted of swimming in irradiated ponds while popping Rad-X like candy." Then, she resumed a normal tone. "So, I guess you have a lot of questions for me, so ask away."

Don Frank Vercelotti

Before long, the mysterious woman from before entered the office. Now that he saw the woman alone, and clean he noticed several things about her. Hmm, she's kinda pretty. the corners of his mouth began curl into a welcoming smile but for a moment his eyes bulged as he noticed that the animals were accompanying her. He watched she entered relatively gracefully while the wolves walked over, leaving pawprints on the carpet, and the mirelurk plopped along, dripping wet. For crying out loud! This place was renovated not one week ago! he groaned in his mind before relaxing once more. Oh well, the last guy who came in destroyed a portion of the wall. I guess it's only fair to have to replace the carpet for this one. he thought, finally showing his 'welcome smile' as originally planned.

He then noticed how she dropped into the chair without being invited to, and he gave a small chuckle. She began introducing herself.

"Nice to meet you, my name is Lyn. I would like to thank you for the hospitality. It was nice to get a decent bath." she introduced herself, then added in a lower tone "My baths for the last few years have consisted of swimming in irradiated ponds while popping Rad-X like candy." Reverting to her previous voice she continued "So, I guess you have a lot of questions for me, so ask away."

Frank merely smiled at this young lady. She seemed so innocent, yet so troubled at the same time. He immediately felt sympathy for her. As she allowed him to begin questioning her, Franks instinct was to immediately ask are you single? However, he waited for a moment before asking her anything. Finally he opened his mouth to speak.

"It's nice to meet you to Lyn" he smiled. "Allow me to introduce my self formally; Im Frank Vercelotti. A.K.A the Big Cheese, A.K.A the Boss, A.K.A The Don." he said rather arrogantly, but still smiling warmly, in hopes to impress her. "First off, I need to ask you; where do you come from exactly? How did you come to terms with your powers? And to what do we owe the pleasure of having your presence in New Manhattan?" he asked intently. He then added "It's a fine city, I know, but as of now it's in a state of relative turmoil." Chuckling he said "Not exactly the best place for a tourist trip right now, is it? You must have a purpose."

As he was speaking, he kept glancing at her face, at her hair, at her eyes, noticing the gentle contours, and defined lines. The fact that she was no longer covered in a thin layer of grime helped bring out her features further Goddammit Frankie! Get those thoughts out of your head! It's time for business. he tried to convince himself, but to no avail, he felt rather attracted to this mysterious girl, despite her 'strange gift'..

True to his word, Mieux commited no hostile actions against the city of New Manhattan, but this did not cease his growth, using the appeal of lights to his city Arcadia, he set up a small casino in the old Mieux hotel, using old card tables used by mobsters running back alley casinos before the war. He was also expanding in the opposite direction of New Manhattan, as well as towards it. As each minute passed, his influence was encroaching towards New Manhattan, he wanted New Manhattan, but not with violence. Rather, he continued building until he was two street blocks away from New Manhattan. This was good for business, having only to travel several feet to enter Arcadia. But Arcadia was now roughly 12 blocks of what was New York City, with Mieux Hotel in the center of it all. slowly spreading electricity to each derelict city block he swallowed. Like a kid with a new toy, he was flexing his shiny and clean settlement as a sign that he was not to be ignored. He stared out of his window, he stared at his border facing New Manhattan and the 'no mans land' he created between the two. He swallowed his pills and drank a glass of scotch, methodically deciding what to do and where to do it. He had thought of inviting the New Manhattan Mafia, but he knew doing that would only invite a Coup De Tat against him. So he cancelled that idea out. Justin ran Arcadia his way. Visitors surrendered their weapons at the gate and anyone seeking to live there had to file a formal application that Mieux himself read over. Lately, scavengers were flooding into town, the reason was they were bringing in old pre-war holotapes, no one knew why, but Mieux offered 100 caps for each music holotape. This was part of his newest plan to revive things. He would soon shoot up a radio station, 'After all, what was life without music?' was a common thought in his head. He spoke aloud, breaking the silence in his office, "Yes, things are finally starting to come together." He grinned proudly, he ceased to grin, looking again at New Manhattan, one way or another, he would absorb New Manhattan, either by annexation or by convincing it's residence to flock there. He was driven to consume New Manhattan into his growing empire.

Lyn Grave

"Well, as you have probably guessed, I'm not from around here. I'm from the Midwest...Before the war the area was known as Iowa. I grew up there with my gramps, who was a ghoul.". Her tone changed to a matter-of-fact kind of tone. "Technically he is my great great great great great grandfather...give or take a few greats. It's just easier to call him 'gramps' though.". Lyn sighed inwardly at this point. whatever I have to do to gain his trust. She then continued her story at a regular tone. "As to where my powers come from, my family developed a mutation after being exposed to special radiation. It allowed us to control animals with telepathic suggestion. Gramps was very thankful for my ability when I came to him, since he raised brahmin and pigs.". Lyn sighed again, but more outwardly this time. "I came to this area to escape from the Brotherhood. They are a major power where I am from, and some time ago they had a war with the beast lords...I was hoping I wouldn't run into them if I came east, but I was wrong...". Lyn hung her head at that point, hoping to hide the discomfort she was feeling with the mere mention of the Brotherhood.

Don Frank Vercelotti

"Well, as you have probably guessed, I'm not from around here. I'm from the Midwest...Before the war the area was known as Iowa. I grew up there with my gramps, who was a ghoul." she answered the first question, then added; "Technically he is my great great great great great grandfather...give or take a few greats. It's just easier to call him 'gramps' though." She sighed and proceeded to answer the second question; "As to where my powers come from, my family developed a mutation after being exposed to special radiation. It allowed us to control animals with telepathic suggestion. Gramps was very thankful for my ability when I came to him, since he raised brahmin and pigs." she said, sighing once more. She finally answered the third and final question; "I came to this area to escape from the Brotherhood. They are a major power where I am from, and some time ago they had a war with the beast lords...I was hoping I wouldn't run into them if I came east, but I was wrong..."

Once she had finished she drooped her head.

The entire time, Frank listened carefully, occasionally shifting in his seat. His stroked the rough stubble on his chin throughout the monologue. He then began to respond.

"Well, luckily for you, there aren't actually all that many Brotherhood around." he breathed, sitting up from his seat. "Plus, the Enclave has a tighter grip around here, and you know how they hate each others guts." he commented, then added "Trust me, you'll be pretty safe around here. From Brotherhood atleast." the Don assured, ordering his maid inside. "Yeah, get me some red wine, please." he told the maid. "And what would you have?" he asked Lyn.

Lyn Grave

Lyn cheered up a bit. Good, the Brotherhood isn't big here. "I'll have a bottle of whiskey". She turned to scratch the wolves as she waited. She noticed the faint pawprints on the carpet, trailing from the door to each of their spots, and after further inspection, also noticed the patch of wet carpet under the mirelurk. "Ah, sorry about that...We're not used to higher class standards...". Lyn said, slightly embarrassed.

Don Frank Vercelotti

"I'll have a bottle of whiskey" she answered, and the maid left the office, bringing in the two drinks momentarily. Frank poured himself a generous glassful, and pushed the whiskey bottle over to Lyn, along with the glass. Damn, she drinks hard liquor? he mused silently, as he poured her a glass as well, and handed it to her.

"Ah, sorry about that...We're not used to higher class standards...". Lyn said, referring to the marks the animals had left on their way in.

"Don't worry about it, atleast you didn't do it on purpose, unlike the last guy which was in here" the Don chortled, thinking back to his last guest. "He got a little tipsy and ended up throwing a whole bottle at that wall there" he pointed. He paused when he remembered that the man who had done this was infact Brotherhood. Frank decided to withhold this information, so as not to scare Lyn too much.

"So, as I see it, you're here seeking refuge." Frank confirmed, taking a sip of his wine. "Well, we're good at that kinda stuff. Although this may not be Manhattan at its safest, it's pretty good I would say. Safer than most places, that's for sure. We have the New Manhattan Mafia, the Gauss Project, and the Enclave all stationed here. Why, this just might be the most desired part of the country!" Frank boasted, once again in attempt to impress the lady.

"We have some open, in the Mafia. If you wish, we can make you an associate." the Don offered, taking another sip of his wine. "Interested?"

As he spoke, he couldn't help but to admire her further. She doesn't even seem to like me in the least. Just my luck, isn't it? She must be the only girl on the planet who doesn't. She might just be too young though. Frank thought, suddenly conscious of himself and running his fingers through his slick hair.

Lyn Grave

Lyn watched as the drinks were brought in. Frank pushed the whiskey and a glass toward her, and ignoring the glass, Lyn opened the bottle and took a long swig from it. Whiskey always helped her relax, and she had a lot on her mind. "So, you're inviting me to join the mafia? Sounds interesting, and I would need to discuss it, and probably a bit of time to think about it. Just curious, but would you be willing to accept animals into your force, with me in charge? I'm sure this area has a large number of wild animals." Lyn smiled, thinking of the possibilities.

Pleased that she was atleast interested in the offer, Frank smiled broadly. "Your gift would be appreciated, of that I can assure you. Something the Brotherhood would never do." he replied slyly. "Even if you should not accept my offer, we aren't the kind of Mafia to just toss people out when we get what we want out of them like a used condem." Frank began to chuckle but then cringed, realizing that the imagery of the sentence must not have been appropriate for the company of a lady. In attempt to recover he added; "You're more than welcome to stay in one of our guest rooms until you've found yourself a decent situation."

OOC: Ramendia, if you have anything planned, let me know and I'll work towards it. :D

Lyn chuckled along with his joke, shredding up more of her assumed ladylikeness. "I have a favor to ask of you, if you would hear it. I was in the process of befriending a nest of mirelurks, this ones kin" she said as she gestured to the mirelurk behind her. "It would be convenient to have a place for them to stay within the city. If there is a sort of stable in the city, it would be nice if I could use it." Lyn smiled sweetly at him, hoping to use some of her rarely used charm to encourage Frank's approval.

Don Frank Vercelotti

The Don was surprised that Lyn actually didn't mind the lewdness of his previous joke, and then she spoke once he had finished. "I have a favor to ask of you, if you would hear it. I was in the process of befriending a nest of mirelurks, this ones kin" she motioned to the one behind herself. "It would be convenient to have a place for them to stay within the city. If there is a sort of stable in the city, it would be nice if I could use it." she continued, and smiled. Perhaps the prettiest smile Frank had ever seen in his life.

The Don blinked at her for a few seconds, and returned the smile. He then began to think. A stable? For Mirelurks? In the city? This broad is nuts, but... Oh God how could I deny her anything? he thought hard, rubbing his eyes before an idea entered his mind. Our basemants usually empty, It has all the new weapons Will gave us stored, but Mirelurks don't know what those are.

"Im sorry, I don't think they usually accept animals in the city, but our own basemant is relatively free. You're more than welcome to keep them there for the time being." Frank offered, although rather reluctantly. Next time any of my men sneak down there for a shag, they're going to get an unpleasant surprise. he sniggered to himself. He couldn't believe what was happening to him. Im the one who charms people into doing what I want, not the other way round... What the hell is going on today? This business is really getting to my head. Frank sighed heavily.
