Rules:

1. Keep Things Civil: I have seen many threads locked because of uncivility. Keep things clean and don't insult other people.

2. Post Length: I don't really care about the length of a post, but make it longer than just a sentence ok?

3. How Much You Should Post: If you are a main character or want to be one, post at least twice a day (this is not a binding rule.) If you are a side character, post at least once every two days or so. All I really want you to do is to make sure you are on top of whats going on. This RP is quick, and just missing a day can mean that you missed some key plot points.

4. NO UBERING: This is major. Don't play a god character. If you get shot in the arm, don't just pop a stimpack. My health rules are modeled after hard-core mode.

5. Don't Do A Major Plot Change Without Other's Approval: Don't nuke a town to the ground unless you have approval.

Locations:

EMPIRE WASTELAND:

New Manhattan: a walled town located on what was Central Park. The town is a thriving town with about 1500 people within its walls. The town is heavily sought after by several groups and is in the middle of a huge power struggle. Where will you fit in?

New York City is dark and depressing. Manhattan was full of tall buildings and still is. Sunlight rarely penetrates unto the streets below. Mutants are everywhere. The only safe place in Manhattan is the city of New Manhattan.

The city itself: (The year is 2283). The mayor is dead and the mayorship is being contested.

Central Square: The area where people come to talk about the day. Many shops and bars are located here.

North Wall: The area at the North of Town. It is heavily guarded as mutants attempt to break down the walls every day. Beyond the walls is darkness and death. Mostly a resedential area.

Evergreen: The area of town where casinos and bars are. The mafia hangs out here. The casinos are: CAPone (run by me) Yellowlight Poker and Snacks, and RADIATION.

Reuters: The main industrial area. This is where all the manufacturing happens.

Reuters Way: The only road in and out of town. It is heavily walled and leads to the Brookyln Bridge. A small port is located where the bridge once stood.

The Empire Wasteland:

Poseidon Energy Headquarters: Pre-war Poseidon Energy Corporate Headquarters and research facility. Enclave bunker beneath is now used by 50 D.C. remnants. Led by President Sutler and Colonel Adams.

Liberty Lost: A slaver camp located where the Statue of Liberty is. This is a HUGE slaver operation. The slavers are led by Fred Gandoe. They want control of New Manhattan.

New Rabition (Rabithead.): A Lake Federation city. The Lake Federation launches raids on New Manhattan from here.

Ghoul High: A small ghoul town located on the ruins of Queens High School in Queens. Home to about 126 Ghouls. They make their money by scauaging and trade. They are seeking to be controlled by New Manhattan.

Vault 109: A deserted vault. Home to many wasteland critters. Said to contain a huge supply of fresh water and food. Some even claim a GECK is located there.

Vault 110: A vault that is still inhabited. The experiment was never enacted due to complications. Home to about 1200 People. Raiders want to attack and take it over.

Popgoestheweasel: A raider camp. Almost everyone wants it destroyed. The raiders launch attacks on almost every settlement. Located North of Manhattan.

Radioville: A medium sized town located in a walled compund in South Manhattan. A pre-war radio tower is located here. This town is where "Empire Radio is broadcasted from. The mayor is Renald Paulson. who is also the DJ for the radio station.

Charlie and Sons Chemicals: Where the mutants from DC make their base. They are looking for the FEV virus. Located in Union City.

Camp Android: A huge camp led by the insitute. They want control of New Manhattan.

Arcadia: A growing town located near New Manhattan. Is led by a reclusive man named Justin.

BEYOND THE EMPIRE WASTELAND:

The Lake Federation: A large federation of towns that makes it money by fishing and by water caravans. They are located in Michigan and parts of Canada.

Laketon: The capital of the Lake Federation, located on the ruins of Lansing Michigan.

Ronto: A former raider/slaver fortress that was captured by Lake Federation Soldiers.

General Motors Factory: Where the Tesla Lamp is located.

Alexander Scalatti

Alex knew that he had to leave now. He walked up to the colonel and shook his hand. "I need to leave now. If you're ever in New Manhattan, come to my casino." Alex then took off out of the vault, with a bag of his vault posessions he recovered.

He soon found himself back in Times Square. I gotta go North, damn, right into mutant country. Alex reloaded his pistol and headed toward Reuter's Way, the only gate into New Manhattan. It was dark and dingy, almost no sunlight penetrated down below, due to the tall buildings.

Thankfully, only three mutants attacked, and they were quickly dispatched. They are all in the [censored] skyscraqers. Alex soon reached Reuter's Way. He showed his passport to the guard who let him enter the city.

Don Frank Vercelotti

Still sitting and waiting for a response from Lyn, the Don leaned back in his chair, crossing his legs as he did so. "I hope you don't mind me smoking" Frank muttered casually, as he pulled out and lit a cigar.

After several puffs he noticed movement at the door of his office, and immediately recognized Director William Snowe at the door. Frank smiled at him as he entered the room and took a seat, waiting for my discussion with Lyn to draw to a conclusion.

In the mean-while the Don decided to speak with the Director. But not before introducing him first. "Lyn, this is Director William Snowe. He's the Big Cahuna around these parts now. Leader of the Gauss Project." he announced. "And Director, this is Lyn. She's a.. 'beast lord'" Frank introduced, cringing his face at the last word, wondering how he would take it.

"So, what brings you to my office Director?" he asked, as he poured the Director a drink of wine, and handed him the glass. He's here for Sonia. Im sure of it.

Acting President Alan James Sutler

Sutler was a bit more rested, it was onlt when he woke up that he realised how tired his joints and bones were, maybe 62 was too old to be fighting. He had a quick drink of bottled water from the bunker (as the status of the Vault's water purification system was suspect), quickly donned his trenchcoat and left the apartment, for the duration of the excavation, the executive apartments on the upper levels had been selected, they were still in the process of ripping data from the servers here; when scavenging work ead them to lower levels they might switch quarters, they worked on a very stringent shift system, at any point one-third of Enclave personnel would be enjoying 4 hours sleep while the rest worked, once the 4 hours was up, they swapped.

He sought out the Colonel, he had tried to convince him, yet again, that the wastelanders could not be trusted, not any of them. He marched briskly down the dim corridors of the Vault. This place was so vast, Sutler thought in awe. How long would it take them to get all this [censored] home? He eventually came across the Colonel.

Sutler gave a strong salute, "Good day Adams," he said curtly. "Before I get back to work on the computers here I wondered whether you had thought on what I said yesterday; it really is very important that you realise this, none of these people are our friends; for example, that Alex fellow, he wasn't helping us, it was an arrangement, he tells us the Vault's password and gets to take some family possetions and we clear it for him and keep this place."

OOC: Congrats on thread 5, Alex. You've done great with this. :celebration.

Adams yawned loudly, stretching as he woke. He’d had pleasant dreams, despite his anger at the President, which fuelled his current state of enthusiasm.

The radiant heating systems on the Vault’s upper level provided a comforting warmth, almost clearing the Colonel’s mind of the chores lying ahead. Ugh, that’s gonna be hell on these creaky knees, he thought, chuckling quietly to himself as he buttoned up his black, somewhat grubby, trench coat.

Before striking a quick pose in front of the mirror, Adams strode out of his small, surprisingly well-kept room, towards the stairs. There way not way he was using the prehistoric elevator, even if it meant having to navigate the smelly labyrinth which was Vault 109’s corridors.

Ah, a map! Thank you! He thought, breathing a sigh of relief. “Right, I’m helping strip the water chips, so I take a right from-“Adams was interrupted. He closed his eyes, gently leaning his head on the wall at the sound of Sutler’s voice.

"Good day Adams," he said curtly.

“Oh,” Adams said, eyes widening in surprise, “I’m allowed to speak this time, am I?” He exhaled extensively before speaking. “With all due respect, Mr. President, I don’t think you understand me. Not once have I said we hold hand with the wastelanders and nurse them to their last meaningless breath. Of course not. No, they’re pawns in this great game, but pawns which can be used, nonetheless. We can shape and twist them any direction we please, and there’s so many of them just… just littering our land, their lives empty.” Adams cleared his throat. “But we can fill that hollow space – they can serve America. You’re right, some are savages; we’ve both seen it, but it’d be a bold, ignorant statement to generalise them as such. There are good, strong men out there, Mr. President, but not as strong as us – I assure you, if we can keep them under control, wet their lips a little, they’ll do our every bidding, and to work for the Enclave, is to work for the United States; and surely you, more than anybody, would like to see this country wake from its dormant state, and explode in a flurry of greatness and prosperity.” Adams tone began to strengthen, and his hands began to clench. “The Enclave, as much as I hate to say it, is lacking numbers, and soon, well… we’ll be stretched too thin, biting off more than we can chew. Oh, make no mistake, this country will breathe splendour once again, but with the help of those who’ve endured the horrors of the wasteland, we can achieve that dream so much quicker.” Adams wiped the sweat appearing on his brow, and lowered his voice, leaning closer to Sutler. “Look, I know nothing I say will ever change your mind, Mr. President, and fair enough, I can respect that. But it’s important that no matter what our beliefs, we work together. I know that sounds rich coming from me, I admit that, but we’ve done a lot of good today and I see much more of the same in the near future if we keep up like this. If a conflict spreads within our organisation, we’ll crumble – there are only fifty of us left, remember that.”

OOC: Sorry for the long ass monologue, Adam, but when the Colonel rants, he really, really rants. :)

Justin grimaced, staring at the clock, no signs on the Enclave had shown, no contact since his show of force. "Dumb bastards, throwing away a valuable opportunity." He spoke aloud, he realized he was about to lose his temper, so he quickely calmed down and took a drink of water. The night lights glittering in his city pretty as a diamond in the sunlight. He considered what to do, he was hoping to use the Enclave as part of his aresenal, but they seemed a little busy with....whatever. Picking up his portable radio, always eager that the Enclave would make it's call, he dressed fancily and went for dinner in the small pre-war cafe located on the first floor of the cafe. Ordering his meal from a waitress, and a beautiful one at that, he went to his thoughts, eating a piece of Brahmin steak with a glass of wine. His thoughts went once more into New Manhattan. With a mix of spies and cameras, he was able to create a similiar replica, mentally and physically, or what was where in the settlement. Clearing his mind for the time being, he ate another bite of his steak, cooked to perfection, the steak spoiling his palate, wishing his radio would pick up a signal from The Enclave. But for now, he decided to focus on his delicious meal.

Sutler listen intently.

"Now Colonel, I never ment to suggest that you held the wastelanders above the Enclave, I personally just don't like the risk of trying to control these people for whatever purpose. There could be organisatoins out there like the ones I saw back west, powerful opponents... The New California Republic is one such example, I don't know how old you were or if you can remember them, but they were huge and it turns out we were wrong to think they wouldn't last long. In the end their sheer force of numbers, mixed with a little organisation on the battlefield led to the destruction of Navarro, an outpost larger and with a few more people than what we have now." Sutler remembered the battle. "People running everwhere, we fought till our last charge, in the end we had to use the weapons of their dead and with the firepower advantage taken away, we couldn't kill them fast enough before the number of bullets rendered our power armour vunerable. Howitzer fire, 'birds getting taken down by missle fire and those that escaped, well huh, I never heard of them again..." He snapped back into reality. "My point is Adams we don't know what these people are capable of, we're on the last throw of the die here, though I think I understand somewhat what you mean, and, honestly, while I don't disagree the risk is too much for me to handle. Maybe we will use them, for the time, it may be after you and me are long gone but the Project will become reality again. I'm thinking of maybe bringing our other boys here, from the Chicago outpost" Sutler grimaced. "The outpost which has just as many many as the capitol, when our new settlement is built around base."

OOC: Ugh, rather rubbish post, actually, but I couldn't think of anything to write.

Adams furrowed his brow at the President’s words.

“You’re to tell me that some scraggly, dirty wastelanders are to arm up and declare war on us, the United States Government?” Adams said, a small hint of sarcasm in his tone. “You forget my age, Mr. President; I’m only six years younger than you. Of course I remember the NCR, but they were organised, well supplied and supported. The people of this city… well, I can’t really say they compare.” The Colonel let out a playful laugh, but quickly took it back. “Look, I know you’re bitter; I can see it in your eyes, they burn with hate – yes, you’re abhorrence for the New California Republic is still fresh within you. But to move forward, sometimes… sometimes we have to let go of the past. It’s hard, I know, and I can imagine even harder for you, but you’re strong, we are strong! That strength will fuel us, push us forward, but we have to let go of what’s holding us back.”

The Colonel’s expression and tone were darkening – something he didn’t want. The last few days had been fantastic; he was not prepared to stop now. Smiling, he changed the subject.

“But that’s great news about Chicago! Yes, the extra manpower will give us that extra edge. I hate to rush things, Mr. President, but now that you’ve mentioned it, I suggest you get them here sooner rather than later after our settlement is built; no doubt the GP and Brotherhood will want their grubby little hands all over it – and the quicker we can take them out, the Brotherhood especially, the better. “

"Perhaps, I was unsure about bringing them over. But we need to be in this together, besides the extra manpower should help us here." Sutler was mostly still miles away, reliving his glory days yet at the same-time some of his most terrible memories; a terrible dichotomy which always overwelmed him when he tought of it, he shook his head and continued. "That pressing matter I contacted you about, a Mr Miluex jammed our radio communication and requests a conference, with you and nobody else. Eyebot reconnaissance around the source of the transmittion indicts a large settlement encompassing nine city blocks, we believe that this Miluex character runs his operation from a casino hotel, he seems an educated man at least, you can contact him using the Vault's radio system or he said you could just fly in, I'll leave tha call up to you. Besides all this planning and scavenging surely insn't your scene, make this man our pawn or at least not our enemy, I shall deal with matter down here. The map over there should tell you where to go if you are lost, I know it's somewhere in the administration department."

William Snowe

The Don took a couple puffs from his cigar and smiled at William before turning to the woman he was talking to. "Lyn, this is Director William Snowe. He's the Big Cahuna around these parts now. Leader of the Gauss Project." He turned back to William. "And Director, this is Lyn. She's a.. 'beast lord'" The Don visually cringed but William's somewhat calm natures subsided.

"Ah I see that my rule on No Wild Animals in New Manhattan is working swell. But enough of that. A pleasure to meet you Ms. Lyn."
William turned back to Don Frank. "Can I speak with Sonia? I want...to make amends."

Lyn Grave

Lyn rose from her seat. "It is nice to meet you, William, and I assure you the animals will cause no trouble." Then, she turned to Frank "Thank you for your hospitality Frank. It seems like you have another visitor, so I will excuse myself." Lyn then exited the room, with animals in tow. She walked out of the building, then traced her trail back to the shore. With a silent command, the mirelurk continued leading her further downstream. It wasn't long before they came upon a cluster of mirelurk eggs. The mirelurks took immediate notice of her presence. She stretched her telepathy to any mirelurk she could find. It wasn't easy, as she had never done it on this scale before. A strong headache struck her as she worked. It was a struggle, but soon enough the entire nest stood before her, in neat filed lines, and docile as can be. She let out a sigh, then smiled in appreciation of her work. She inspected the ranks of mirelurks, and counted those assembled. She counted four dozen, with the addition of two mirelurk kings. With a quick command, the mirelurks picked up what the nest contained, the eggs and a stockpile of food. As soon as they were ready, she began to march them toward the city.

Don Frank Vercelotti

"Ah I see that my rule on No Wild Animals in New Manhattan is working swell. But enough of that. A pleasure to meet you Ms. Lyn." William greeted Lyn, and Frank laughed at the sarcasm in his voice.

"Thank you for your hospitality Frank. It seems like you have another visitor, so I will excuse myself." Lyn said to the Don once she had finished meeting the Director. Frank? What happened to Don? My own men don't call me by my first name. he fumed silently as she slipped out, the animals following her.

"Can I speak with Sonia? I want...to make amends." William spoke once she had left.

"Ah yes. Sonia. She's rather upset." Frank informed the Director. "I'll call her immediately. I'll have you know, I didn't try anything with her." he boasted, rather proud of himself for the feat of self control. It was unlike Frank to leave a woman like that. After a short chuckle he pushed the button on the P.A system to Sonia's room.

"Hey Sonia. It's me, Frank. Someones here to see you. Please come by to my office whenever you're ready" Franks voice boomed.

Once he let go of the button, Franks handsome face twisted into a smile as he joked; "Please, you're welcome to any form of domestic violence you wish. As you can see, my office has been reduced to a barn." he chortled, referring to the marks all over the ground, and the blemish on his wall.

An audience with me and no one else? About time someone recognised my efforts! Adams thought with a conceited smile.

“Hmm, I think I’ll fly in, make an entrance, y’know?” he said with a chuckle. “And yes, I think my work here is done; never was much of a scavenger, don’t have the nose for it. Anyway, I bid you good day, Mr. President.” Adams gave a strong salute, and began to navigate his way through the winding corridors, radio in hand.

“596, vertibird required at Vault 109 entrance, over,” Adams said, looking left and right trying to avoid getting lost.

“On my way, sir. Any final requests? Over,” the radio cackled.

“No, that’ll be all, 596. Over and out.”

Adams, finding himself near the Vault Entrance, pushed the button for Haywood’s frequency.

“Haywood, this is the Colonel. Locate Drake, and then rendezvous with me at the Vault Entrance. Over”

Haywood, with Drake in tow, appeared from behind, tapping Adams on the shoulder. “Yes, sir!”

Jesus Christ… scared the [censored] out of me! “Oh, erm, good work, Lieutenant. Now, let’s waste no time; a gentleman going by the name of Justin Mieux desires an audience with me. Going on what I’ve heard, he intends to keep the conference civil. Shame it’s not always that simple, hmm?” Adams said, expecting a reply. There wasn’t one. “Your orders are simple: act as my muscle, let Mr. Mieux the Enclave is not to be toyed with. Am I clear?”

“Yes, sir!” they said in unison, walking at the Colonel’s flanks as the trio made their way to the vertibird.

The bird descended from the skies, its spinning rotors slamming against the air. Colonel Adams, Lieutenant Haywood, and Sergeant Drake clambered aboard, quickly finding their respective seats. Strangely soothed by the vibrations rippling through the vertibird, Adams slouched in his chair, taking a sip of his ice cold water.

As the vertibird snaked and slalomed through the skeleton buildings of the New York skyline, Adams peered south towards Mieux’s settlement known as Arcadia; his eyes widened and his brow furrowed at the sight. What stood proud, looming in the distance was a shining tower, emitting light in each direction, engulfing entire city blocks held tight in its grasp. This… Mr. Mieux, he’s created his own mini empire… all by himself. Impressive. The Colonel couldn’t deny it; the Enclave needed this man on their side, or at least not as an enemy.

The tower grew larger and larger as the vertibird approached, before VB-02 landed at its grand entrance.

“All right, good work, pilot. You know how this works; back to base, refuel, and keep your radio close. Understood? Good.” Adams had no time to chat. The trio briskly strode out and towards the sparkling golden gates, the vertibird’s aerofoils fluttering the Colonel’s trench coat.

The three Enclave personnel triggered the same reaction as they did at North Wall a few days back. The posh residents of Arcadia stood in awe, there mouths agape, not sure whether to be amazed or frightened. Adams simply smiled as he approached the intercom.

“This is Colonel Adams of the Enclave of the United States Government. The overlord of this establishment requested my presence; grant me entry.”

Director William Snowe

"Thank you for your hospitality Frank. It seems like you have another visitor, so I will excuse myself." Lyn said to the Don after she finished talking to William. The Director silently chuckled. A newcomer addressing the Don by his first name. Oh the humor and irony.

"Ah yes. Sonia. She's rather upset." Frank informed the Director. "I'll call her immediately. I'll have you know, I didn't try anything with her." William stared at Frank. "You better not have."
The Don called Sonia through the intercom and then soon, Sonia came in the office. "Hm? Who is it...William?"

William sat down on a chair and got out a cigarette. "Sonia..."
Sonia put her head down and leaned back on a small table next to William. "You're back..." William sighed. "You know why I did what I did. So..." William said awkwardly, trying to apologize.
He glanced at Frank who was still observing the scene.

Sutler made his way to the Vault Entrance, in the 5 hours since they had held this Vault they had alreay began amassing stuff to transport back to the bunker. A box of 5 water chips, a pair of portable fusion generators, stacks of dismantled piping and systems from the irrigation system and some desk terminals. These were Alpha Class Items, pieces of equipment and things which would be needed to construct parts of the settlement, Bravo Class Items were luxury goods, things like fictional books, music holotapes, chairs and just the various pre-war kitche that was needed to make the bunker and Poseidon Building seem more like a home. Sutler had already paid the servers a visit and completed his Beethoven's 9th Symphony collection, the majority of which had been at Raven Rock as he only took his most valuable items to his post at Adams Airforce Base. He had already picked out a name for his settlement, New Navarro.

He hoped that the painful memories of Navarro would go away if he were forced to continually use it's name but... The very mention of it kept taking him back, the red evening sky when NCR troops cascaded down the hills around Navarro, a turgid brown sea of brown uniforms. He rembered squating behind a sandbag barricade, a plasma turret to his left and Private Hanley to his right, he exhausted every round he had so did Hanley, Hanley darted over covers and threw a pair of NCR bodies back he re-took his position and Sutler grabbed a rifle and some spare clips, the turret ran out of power and the NCR kept coming, the pair of troopers fell back, Hanley was gunned down by five NCR troops from all sides, points all over his mighty armour finally giving in; Sutler had hurled himself behind the wreck of the turret and from there he used a NCR body a cover as he sprinted across the courtyard, he took shelter behind a building as a NCR trooper came around, so suprised by the hulk of armour around the corner he choked and Sutler barged into the soldier, knocking him down where-upon Sutler finished him by bringing his huge armoured foot down on the trooper screamign face, he ground it into the ground before pulling out his ripper and making his way towards his goal. Chaos rained everywhere, NCR troopers on oneside of a barricade, Enclave on the other. Bullets and bolts of brillient energy were flying in all directions. What Sutler seeked was by the air traffic control building 20 feet in the air blowing in the burning breeze...

OOC: I need to make some more character contact, so is it fine if Alex goes and joins the meeting at the mafia HQ?

OOC: I don't mind Alex coming over to the Mafia base. But let me say, Frank is rather upset with Alex, as he's screwed him over more times than Hugh Hefner did the Playmate of the Year.. You ought to come with something in mind, don't just stroll in for a chat. Unless you want to ofcourse. I control Frank, I could say he forgave Alex for everything. :P

Franks chuckle cut short when he noticed how William snapped at the joke. His face sobered somewhat, but he was still in a rather humorous mood. He watched as Sonia walked in, still seeming rather troubled, as she drew closer. William pulled out a cigarette. Frank instinctively pulled out his lighter, and held it forward for William.

"Hm? Who is it...William?" Sonia asked innocently as she stood there.

"Sonia..." the Director replied. "You're back..." he heaved a sigh. "You know why I did what I did. So..." obviously rather uncomfortable as he glanced at Frank who was sitting there, casually admiring the exchange, with a smug grin on his face. The smoke of his cigar floated upwards before him as he took another long drag and spoke. "Please, continue. As if Im not even here." Frank smiled on the sly.

Well it's my office. What do you expect? Im going to get out so you can have your moment? Yeah right! This isn't some sort of counseling center. It's my [censored] work space. Get it over with! Frank mused silently, observing the scene play out, as if it was some sort of cheesy romance film, unraveling right before his eyes. Given the right words, Frank very well have stood up and burst into applause. His dark smile broadened with each thought, and he struggled to hold back all out laughter.

OOC: Okay, I will join in, this should be interesting :D

Alexander Scalatti

Right as Alex entered the city, Vladimir came running toward him. "Alex, all of the GP and the mafia are at a meeting at the mafia HQ!"
Alex nodded. "I need to negotiate with em'. They can't hurt me cause' I control much of the city's trade."
"Da, see you later."

Alex put his hand in his pocket, and began to puff a cigar. Many of the poorer people stared at him with envy. Is it my suit, or my looks? Alex tipped his fedora down and proceded into Evergreen.

Soon after, the mafia HQ came into view. Alex began to jog and soon reached the entrance. The guard stopped him from entering.

"Who are ya'?"
" Why ya' need to know?"
"For the security." The guard said with a hiss on the "s"
"Tell your Don that Mr. Scalatti is here, looking to have a chat."
"Fine."

The mafia guard turned on the intercom. "Don, we have a Mr. Scalatti who wants to chat, shall I let him in?"

OOC: How could Vlad know that they're all having a meeting? I guess he could potentially have seen them entering, so I'll let that pass. But controlling most of the cities commerce? Wasn't he just a casino owner? Im sorry if I don't know; did something change? It's been hard keeping up with all of the posts, so I might be missing some info. :P

Suddenly the intercom pitched and a voice broke out saying; "Don, we have a Mr. Scalatti who wants to chat, shall I let him in?"

Well what do you know. Another guest. Frank rolled his eyes, pushing the button down on the intercom. "Err.. Sure. Let him up." the Don allowed, leaving the button and grabbing his shotgun from one of the closets in the room.

"Sorry Director. Im going to have to do some business." Frank apologized. "Perhaps you would like more privacy anyway. Sonia, take William to your room, you can talk there, uninterrupted." he added to Sonia, rather reluctantly. Dammit Scallati, you made me miss the only bit of entertainment I was going to get all day. There better be a damn good reason for this. he thought, taking another long drag from his cigar, and sitting on his chair as usual, except with a gun in his lap. Awaiting his next guest, it dawned upon Frank that this stress here was exactly what the ex-Don wanted to avoid. Now I get it. Now I know why he killed himself. Frank realized, smoking like a chimney.

OOC: Casinos are a very big industry. Alex does control much of the caravan market. As for Vlad, he has contacts all over the city.

Alexander Scalatti

The guard walked away from the intercom. "Sure, you can come in, don't cause any trouble Mr. Scalatti."

Alex nodded and entered the HQ. It was steamy from all the cigar smoke. Some slow jazz was being played from the jukebox. This is worse than the brothel in Reuters! Several mafia goons gave him dirty looks. I think that they hate me. Alex reached the stairwell and walked several flights of stairs.

Alex soon reached the top floor. He walked down the hall and saw a single door. On the door, was a plaque. Don's office. Alex slowly opened the door and saw several people talking. Oh [censored]! The GP!

Alex awkwardly entered the room and sat down at an open chair. "My apologies if this is a bad time."

At the doors of the tower. The guards, having been rigorously trained to do so to any visitor of high importance, snapped to attention with a snap salute. the doors opened, gentle classical music fluttering out of the building, each note falling on the ears of those near like invisible butterflies. James, Mieuxs public face, dressed in a classic black tuxedo and black bowtie walked towards the group of Enclave soldiers. He looked to the guards and said "At ease gentlemen." He then gave a curt bow, "On behalf of Mr. Mieux and Arcadia, I welcome you. Your men are welcome inside, but, on orders of Mr. Mieux, you will not meet with him tonight, tonight he wishes for you and your men with you to take the night and enjoy everything Arcadia has to offer to a friend of Arcadia." He pulled out two Pre-War keys, engraved, but faded with time. One, a gold key with silver lining in the engravings. He approached the man in the trenchcoat,"Colonel Adams I presume? This is your key, Mr. Mieux has given you full access to all complimentery services, you have but to pick up the phone, and you will be sent assitance." He looked at the men in power armor, eyeing them warily, and approaced a gentleman, or woman, he couldnt tell due to the helmet, the less extravagant key, "Your rooms will not be as luxurious as the Colonels, but all complimentary priveleges are available to you two as well." James turned back to the Colonel, "I apologize if you are in a hurry, but Mr. Mieux is largely....non-negoitable about some things. He insisted I make it noted that you and your men relax tonight, your meeting will be tomorrow morning at 9:30 A.M, tonight however, you have all have Brahmin Steak and a beverage of your choice, alcholic or non-alchoholic. " He turned on his heel, slowly not to seem rude, he turned back to the Colonel, "Oh yes, Mister Mieux advised me to warn your men not to leave the city, meaning anything outside of the barricades, you are no longer under his protection. As a final note before let you gentlemen be on your own, Mr. Mieux asks, if your willing to agree, not to have your men walk around the hotel in their Power Armor, he says it's not good for business. He has provided you all with fresh clothes for the night, however Colonel, your uniform is okay to wear, and if you like, he has men on standby should you wish your uniform be cleaned, or your men wish to polish their armor." He turned once more, letting the men be, their first step inside would be a site of Miuex himself, but in portait, sitting at a table, well dressed with an intelligent grin on the paintings face.

Mieux stared at the monitor of the front door's securitry camera, watching with a grin, the Colonel seemed awestruck, which made Mieux happy, as he enjoyed making people whisk in wonder.'Good, perhaps this will perhaps loosen him up a little, show him I have more to offer than some ragtag settlement.' He sipped a drink of scotch and nodded with his smirk. Hoping to prove he was a man with much to give to friends, and much to give to a foe as well, this, he hoped, would show how hard he was trying to be on good terms with the Enclave.

Edit: OOC: Sorry if God Moded youre clothes Chris, I read your post as if you were dressed like what Autumn wears. xD
