An eerie silence dominated the Mess Hall at the mention of Navarro’s destruction; many great men fell that day, and the very thought of it sparked sadness within. Adams hoped to fight the sorrow with ideas of pride and strength.

“Well, Colonel, I’m impressed! Making it here alone across Route Fifty is really something, truly. There was once a Greek philosopher called Epicurus; he claimed that “we do not develop strength and courage through eternal happiness, but by surviving difficult times and challenging adversities.” Judging by your story, you’re the personification of this belief; I envy you. Perhaps… perhaps you disagree – I can understand if you feel scarred by past events, but it’s all quite glorious, I assure you. Nothing feels as sweet as revenge; sadly, I haven’t experienced vengeance at your level, but I hunger for it. What the NCR did to our brothers... they should be punished for their acts of evil. I’d go to the ends of the earth to avenge our fallen brethren – the greater the difficulty; the more glory is surmounting it.” Adams clenched his fist tight, his words burning with passion.

“But despite these words, I still see potential out there in the wasteland. Of course, barbarity and senseless violence runs rampant, plaguing our great nation, but during my journey, which was much easier than yours, might I add, there was on the odd occasion a light in the darkness; Self-sufficient towns thriving off their willpower to prosper, regardless of their lack of raw materials. People like that, yes, they’re true Americans in my eyes.” Adams didn’t expect a positive attitude from his fellow soldiers towards such a belief; he almost felt segregated at times, only having Autumn to defend his views. “But, from my understanding, you’re a more of a… traditionalist. Nothing wrong with that, Colonel, nothing wrong at all; I don’t disrespect your ideology nor did I necessarily see President Richardson’s master plan as a bad idea, but I want to use, and even abuse, every resource provided for us; take advantage of what the good ole US of A has left for its… superior children.” Adams took a sip of his water and cleared his throat. “But I digress. No matter our methods, we share a common goal; the greatest dream any man could hope to achieve. Through perseverance, I cannot not see how such diligent, strong men could possibly fail.”

Adams recalled his trek through the ruins of Kansas City, the lifeless bodies littering the broken roads, maggots dining on and wriggling their way through the flesh. The Lt. Colonel didn’t want to even think about how the bodies got in such a state, their eyes ripped out and void of life, the bones protruding through skin. He fought off a shiver. One day, it’ll all be cleaned up. All be better.

OOC; I PMed you about this, Adam, but I wasn't sure if Adams would know of Richardson's grand plan. I included it anyway, simply because it makes things easier for me.

Sutler held off a scowl, he had thought this type of machosism had died out, he didn't like being lectured too, particularly by people who weren't there; politely he said. "Personally Adams I would sooner have nothing to be vengeful over, but, Navarro happened..." Sutler always felt the need to describe how they lost, even thought everyone knew what had happened. "Fought till our backs were up against the wall, till our ammo ran dry and the turrets were destroyed." Sutler sighed, Adams struck him as an odd fellow, one of Autumn's boys, brought up an nancy, "wait-for-the-sanctions" [censored]. "I had my vengance, well part of it, came back here with 56 NCR holotags. I struck terror in all there hearts, heh, spent my time hiding in caves, ambushing partrols and waiting for the rescue parties to find what was left. Sons of [censored]es." Sutler finished his meal. "If you excuse me gentleman I must be returning to my apartment, the lady, even she tires of the old "veterans and their battlescars" excuse. Sutler collected his cutlery, dropping a fork in the process which fell through the grate. "[censored], cook'll get it. Be seeing you." Sutler stacked his plate and cutlery on the trolly, saluted present company and set off for his apartment. Adams had annoyed him, almost offended him, though to be fair, Autumn had a cult of personallity; he liked the idea of being Epicurus mind.

Sutler marched down the twisting halls of Raven Rock to his modest apartment in the lower levels, to his dear, red-headed wife and his great son, if he wasn't out being like his old man back in the day, Sutler smiled and suddenly, for the most part, forgot about Navarro and vengance, even the time he gouged that Ranger eye's out before burning him alive, it all seemed like another life time ago.

OOC: I had a discussion about it and as far as I'm concerned the Project was public knowledge.

Also, less and an out character and more an out of context, has anyone noticed that the Pip-Boy glove has gone since the update, no matter what I wear on it damn thing is no where to be seen. :tongue:

Mieux, after the President gave a brief response, asked to be forgiven for leaving the chat. After apologizing, Mieux left the generators, sealed it's hidden blast door, and shut the wall, then he went to lie down in something very few, if anyone, had in the world now. He covered up in his plush and soft bed, the silk sheets running over his skin like gentle water. He dozed off, dreaming of his Pre-War life, he awoke in his bed of his luxury apartment, walking over to his mirror, dreading the nightmare he had, ghouls, radiation, nuclear war. He took his shower, the relaxing warm waters were like a spa, washing his troubles away. He'd grabbed his briefcase and a sandwich for lunch, remembering his hat before he went to work. He tried to stick his key in the door of his Corvega, getting freaked out when the key kept falling through it, not sure what was going on. He then woke with a jolt, his heart sinking, wishing he had died with the life he had left behind. He realized what the 'radio announcer' was saying, it was his robot telling him the latest news from the war that was ratcheting ever more intense. Mieux sighed, "New Manhattan is likely to fall, and if it does, my Laissez-Faire leadership will into iron willed firmness, I can't keep feeding refugees damn it. He sunk his head miserably, now starting to understand in truth why Sutler seemed to have such shot nerves.

Edit: OOC- Enclave, I left the brief response part so it wouldnt to overly god mode you to silence, I left it vague purely so I could role along my side of the story. xD

Dagger 210

"Sir!" Dagger 2 whispered. They were climbing in the air vent. "I see Sonia!"
"Cut through the air vent."
"On it."

Dagger 3 took out a machete, and cut open the air vent. They all jumped down, surprising Sonia and the guards. Dagger 210 quickly shot up the guards a second after. Dagger 1 then pointed his gun at Sonia and motioned for the others to block her off.

"If you try to resist, I will shoot you. You are coming with us. Don't get cocky with us Miss. Any yelling, and your leg is coming off."

Alexander Scalatti

Alex turned toward Lyn as he picked up his briefcase. "I have to boogie. If you need some caps, come to my casino right off of Central Square."

Alex left the room, took the elevator down, and left the hospital. Damn it feels good to be in the fresh air. He then began to walk toward his casino.

Sonia

Sonia watched as the Dagger Team surrounded Sonia's miniature army of 10 soldiers and Securitrons, all MK 1 of course. She nervously shook as she tried to whip out her pistol like she's seen William do hundreds of times in similar situations. "If you try to resist, I will shoot you. You are coming with us. Don't get cocky with us Miss. Any yelling, and your leg is coming off."

The remaining guards and Securitrons stood their ground, disciplined and ready to protect Sonia with their lives. The head guard, still holding his pistol said to Sonia, keeping his pistol trained on the squad. "Your call Mistress Snowe..." Sonia looked at the squad and her guards. "Whoever you people are and how much money you're getting paid, we can increase the amount ten fold," Sonia said, trying to get out of one of the decision.

All the while, all of the Securitrons started to send telemetry data from their data hard drive to William's forward base camp as programmed.

Director William Snowe

"Our rockets will rain down fire on your cities. Laketon will be your Gomorrah."
He cut the connections and watched as the army stormed the first outpost in seconds. Without a single troop being deployed, the outpost was burnt to the ground. William marched onwards until one of his commanders headed to him. "Sir...Mistress Sonia Snowe is being attacked."
"What?!" William exclaimed before the commander handed him the holotape of the telemetry data the Securitrons sent. "Oh my god...we're too far away. Send every Securitron to the bunker and ambush them when they come out and gas all the exit tunnels. If one guard takes out one squad member...Sonia knows the code to the blast door with the rations inside while they don't. Just let them starve to death."

William stared out at the Federation and then the first attack on the city began. "I want the citizens to have a quick and painless death or be rounded up as refugees for New Manhattan. They don't deserve the fate I will be subjecting on the Federation council...launch the rocket artillery."

The rocket silos fired a hundred rockets, about as big as a regular missile launcher rocket, each one 3 times more powerful.

Mieux sat at his desk, reading the telemetry data being sent, he doubted Williams would care, but Mieux wasn't doing anything sinister, he was using the data as his eye on the field. "Jesus Christ, this is insanity. It's flat out war." He shook his head in despair, so much bloodshed, luckily, according to the data in the robots, they were in Ohio, so Arcadia and New Manhattan would likely be spared the worst of the fighting. He looked over it all, so far it showed no signs of the war regressing back towards the city. If it did however, he'd pray that Arcadia be ignored.

Dagger 1 grew visibly angry. "You're [censored] husband killed my wife, and brothers during the attack on New Rabitton, no money can ever bring them back."

Dagger 2 nodded. "My farm was destroyed."

Dagger 4 inched toward Sonia cautiously. "We were all retired Special Forces. We joined up just to get revenge at you [censored]s." He opened up his pouch, and took out blinking ball. "This is a bomb. If you kill me, or my squad, it will blow up. If I say the password, it will blow up. Now, come with me, and I won't hurt you."

President Fairfield

"Sir! 150 missiles are heading toward Laketon!"
"Oh [censored]!!!!"

Alarms began to ring all over Laketon. Everyone began to head toward the old vault under Lansing.

"Get that [censored] on the line!!"
"Yessir."

A hologram appeared in front of William. "You [censored]. I want to show you something." Another hologram appeared. This time, it was Dagger 210 explaining to Sonia about the bomb.

"Alright." Dagger 1 put a gun up to his head.

Fairfield turned toward William. "If you do not stop those missiles, Dagger 1 will kill himself, and blow up the bomb. Then my friend, you will be single once again. I don't want you to surrender to me or anything. Just stop the [censored] attacks and give New Rabitton back to us."

As if the timing was right, Mieuxs face flickered onto a Securitron, "I'd advise you to listen to him Director, it's best that you let go here and now, if you continue with this tunnel visioned quest for revenge, you'll only hurt yourself. I don't like or approve of anything they've done, but ignore that anger in your heart, you and I have people, innocent people, in our towns. Every maneuver of leadership we do has actions on our people. Think about this carefully Director. No one is dead, sure that Mobster gentleman is wounded, but you and your wife are unscathed, it's okay to be mad, but pillaging and burning like the Hun at the gates of Rome is NOT the answer to your problems." Mieux was watching nervously at how Williams would react to all of this.

Lyn Grave

Lyn watched as Alex left, then waited a minute or so until she left herself. She was seriously considering going back to the skyscraqer to check if the anti-material rifle was still there. She shrugged, and made her way to the skyscraqer. The area was back to being mostly deserted, and Lyn slipped into the building unnoticed. She traced her way back to the floor where she found Alex. The room where the main sniper was positioned was empty. Lyn frowned, then searched the surrounding rooms. They seemed to be untouched since the battle, and the bodies were still laying around. After hesitantly poking through, and passing on a few guns that didn't catch her interest, she spotted a sniper rifle. Her excitement soared, noting that the gun she was investigating was an anti-material rifle. Figuring the previous owner wouldn't mind her borrowing it, she grabbed the extra ammo for it and ran downstairs with her new favorite gun. When she got downstairs, she loaded the empty clip back up. She took aim at some rubble a fair distance away and took a test shot. Her aim was perfect, due to the years of practicing how to use a rifle with Gramps. She giggled a bit, then made her way back to town.

Director William Snowe

William stared at the situation. The guards were about the same number as the Dagger team but the difference was that Sonia's guard wasn't the true "Snowe Family Guard" and wouldn't stand up too well against the blunt of former special team members. He sighed and dropped his pistol. "Sonia..." At the same time, Mieux appeared on one of the Securitrons, again telling him to retreat.

"Veni Vidi Vici...I came, I saw, I conquered. What happens here today will be remembered in history," William solemnly said before he radioed the HQ Director back in New Manhattan. "Proceed with Alpha and Omega."

He slowly walked away from the hologram before whispering to himself. "This is the end of the Federation."

Sonia

Sonia shut her eyes, ready to hear the firefight but pure silence before a sound similar to a gas leak erupted loudly inside the walls of the bunker. Every single door was sealed with a blast door and the lights immediately turned off, sending the room pitch black and disabling all electronics for a fraction of a second. It was the panic stage in the case of an attack. The turrets glowed a bright red and darted their laser pointer around the room.

"Mistress...we've lost contact with HQ, we're on our own. It's our turf, we have a field advantage. It's your call, what should we do?"
Sonia remembered all the drills of the panic stage. The turrets were highly inaccurate and lost the targeting chip because of the EMP but each slug could blow an arm off. "...HQ detonated a pinch in the bunker. RUN!"

OOC: A pinch is a large EMP bomb that doesn't do any health damage but disables electronics. The modified version just messes up targeting on robots, making the turrets a hazard for both teams. Note that guns are not effected.

Dagger 210

Right as the defense systems went into place, all of the Dagger Squad shot themselves. A split second later, all of their bombs exploded. Each bomb had the power of three mini-nukes.

"God bless the Lake Federation."

President Fairfield

"William, I hope you rot in hell. My squad has just blew themselves up. Sonia is presumed dead. Its over. Stop the bombs. If you don't, I will send the remainder of my army, and torch New Manhattan to the ground. I will hang you myself."

Sonia Snowe

"Mistress?!" The head guard yelled after the bombs exploded. They were lucky enough to clear the first door, albeit not a blast door. The lights turned back on and Sonia was on the floor, her standard issue bunker attire doing very little to keep her safe from the fire that raged on in the main room. "She's alive...the blast doors did well containing the main force of the explosion in the main room."

Sonia laid in the cold floor and her heart was beating in a very erratic pattern. The pinch, wearing off, the surviving head guard and the sole remaining guard radioed HQ. "Legate Actual, come in Legate Actual."

"Legate here, we've seen some sort of mini-nuke explosion in the main hallway. Can you confirm?"
"Yeah...we can confirm. The blast doors did a nice job snuffing out the explosion before it did serious damage to us. The VIP is still alive but unconscious and has severe injuries...we need a medic and some escort...and something to message the Director what happened."

Director William Snowe

William turned back to the hologram. "If what you say is true and Sonia didn't survive...I have nothing to lose. You have no bargaining chip left," He said before turning to his field commander. "I want Vertibirds flying over EVERY city in this area and bombing them with their entire payload."

He activated the Zodiac unit. "My best of the best is on the way..."

The Zodiac Unit

The unit headed closely into the ruins of the Laketon area. "No signs of life...this place is dead..."
The kept going until thermal signatures started to be picked up. "Alright...they're under ground...right beneath us. Breach and clear men." The Zodiac unit placed a couple bits of C4 around and triggered it, throwing dirt all over the place and revealing the bits of steel of the bunker underneath. "Find the entrance, go!"

Alexander Scalatti

Alex was at his office in the casino, resting at his desk, when suddenly, a man burst open the door. It was Vlad.

"Laketon's been bombed!" Vlad yelled.

"[censored]!!" Alex picked his his radio and threw it halfway across the room. It shattered into many pieces. "[censored] that arrogant William piece of [censored]!" Alex went back to his chair, still steaming with rage.

"The Lake Federation provided more than HALF of my [censored] supply! I am [censored] ruined!!! RUINED!!! [censored]!!" Alex laid his head against the desk.

"And, most of the food supply of New Manhattan."

Alex took deep breaths. "William does not understand what he has done. He has just destroyed New Manhattan's economy. Its ruined. Half the city will starve. PRICES WILL [censored] RISE!! I AM RUINED!!!!!"

Alex opened up his desk, took out a pistol, and slammed the desk shut. "That [censored] has just ruined me. I will kill him myself if I have to."

President Fairfield

"Sir, 95 percent of the population has escaped, the rest are here in the bunker."

Fairfield sighed with relief. "Good, now, send the army on a suicide mission to New Manhattan, I want most of the city torched."
The head General nodded and left the room.

Another general ran in. "Sir, our guns have shot down many Verti-Birds over the Pitt , Ronto, and Detroit. Windy City has survived as well. William only sent the bombs here."

Fairfield sighed with relief again. "Good. I want you to launch the missiles at that old army base near Detroit. I believe that there are over 50?

"Yes sir."

"Launch them ALL at William's army, and at New Manhattan. If they bomb us, we bomb them."

"Fire the missiles!"

"10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!!!!!!!!" All 50 of the missiles left the pre-war silos.

Director William Snowe

William sighed as he saw the fifty missiles arc overhead. "They never learn...force transmit disarm codes to every missile. All missiles that you can't disarm, just shoot down with our mobile SAM sites."

The commanders at HQ did as said. 35 out of the 50 missiles were easily disarmed and simply fell without any harm done what so ever other than damaging a couple far away outposts a little bit. Another 12 were hit with the mobile SAM sites mounted on the walls of the New Manhattan area and the surrounding skyscraqer roof. The remaining three hit their targets, which did little more than demoralize the soldiers back at base and blow up a few unimportant buildings. Nothing a week's worth of construction won't fix.

"How's the Vertibird bombing going?" William asked. The commander shook his head in shame. "Not so good sir. Entrenched surface to air missiles riddle the Federation camp. We're trying to bomb the area but it's not going well sir."

William waved his hand. "Enough. Carpet bomb the SAM sites or send Securitron Legion 2 to deal with it."

The Zodiac Unit

"We've found the entrance sir!" Zodiac 1 declared before the rest of the team piled up on the door before they signaled a Reaper detonation. After the failure at Vault 109, the Reaper has been modified to instead short circuit the main door and open it that way. "Detonate it and hold on to something."

When the bomb detonated, no sound was heard but flashing blue light, similar to that of a super charged pulse grenade, detonated, opening the vault door, rocking the entire outside of the Vault, even injuring one of the unit from a wayward rock. "We're in!" They headed in, guns raised and silently killed two guards before heading to the main room with the President and his guards. As the team split, Zodiac 2 & 4 silently sniped the President's guards.

Simultaneously, Zodiac 3 & 5 held a gun to the President and the head General's head. "Move a muscle and we blow your brains out."

GP Financial Affairs(Part of Gauss Project HQ)

"Sir this war's costing us...Federation trade has stopped outright but supplies from Arcadia are constant."
"It's alright...contact the Robco branch underneath Jersey and see if they'll be willing to trade resources. Use the name Robco Zodiacs."
"Of course sir...but isn't that branch very very small?"
"Yes yes of course....but it's still a willing supporter of resources. They may have no military whatsoever but they have lots of resources available."

OOC: Robco does not exist anymore, they were wiped out during the Great War. I want the economy to suffer in NM, just to show the consequences of revenge.

President Fairfield

"Hey Dan, look here!" Fairfield began to laugh.
"Looks like some idiots want to kill us!"

Fairfield looked behind him and pressed a button. "Welcome UNEXPECTED visitors. Would you like some coffee?" Right at the utter second of the word unexpected, the entire room was gassed. Several guards in power armor came in and gunned down the Zodiac Soldiers.

"You fell for the trap..idiots."

Alexander Scalatti

As soon as he left his casino, he saw two GP guards. Alex gunned them down with his pistol. "How's that arrogant [censored]s?" He picked up their weapons just as a crowd was forming. Alex stood up and began to explain.

"Today is cheap Federation Food Caravan day right? Well, they ain't coming. William, your idiot leader, has bombed Laketon and attacked the Lake Federation. That's right, you and your families will starve."

The crowd was angry, and began to riot. Suddenly, a Empire News reporter walked over to Alex. "This is Empire News, we are right at the scene of a murder, and here is famous Caravan Driver and Casino Owner Alexander Scalatti right on the scene, good evening Mr. Scalatti."

This thing is broadcasted all over the sea board, excellent. "Hello, well erm, you see, William Snowe has bombed Laketon, and as a result, the caravans will not be arriving. The food shipments are NOT coming. You and your families will starve. I recommend a riot, show your feelings New Manhattan!"

OOC: Robco as a company no longer exists but branches like the massive bunker that the Gauss Project originated from exist. None as big as the one the GP started in though. But yeah, most of the community except the Gauss Project will be starving. The main Gauss Project bunker goes under the Robco name but all the remaining bunkers became independent of their original source.

Director William Snowe

"Director, we've successfully mounted an attack on the Federation...but your soldiers? We've lost contact."

William nodded sadly. "Alright...send in the Securitron Legion 1 to attack the surrounding area and end this war. I will not let this war end in the favor of the Federation."
He looked at the burning carcass of Laketon as the newly opened MK 2 Securitron army descended on the Laketon area. The Zodiacs did good enough, they opened the way and they were trained as the best, only surpassed by William's personal guard.

The Zodiac Unit
The gas came quickly which was nothing considering the Zodiac armor immediately turned on the filters. But the power armor soldiers took them by surprise. In an instant, half the squad was killed. The remaining half emptied their mags at the place where the President was standing, blinded by the thickness of the gas. "Retreat retreat!" They exclaimed.

The unit, at least the ones that survived the attack, hurriedly left the bunker, most of them injured or almost out of ammo. Only three of the 10 members survived. "Damn President took us by surprise...no matter, we did our job. The new legion of Securitrons are descending on this bunker."

Gauss Project HQ

The HQ Director glanced at the screen and it showed the Empire news with Alex on it, trying to start a riot. He threw a coffee mug at the wall in pure anger. "Divert the remaining Securitrons and eradicate ANY signs of resistance. Until we find another suitable replacement for the cheap Federation caravans...we're running this as an autocracy."

The HQ members all nodded and redirected the Securitron police force into the rioting area. The Director watched the Gauss Project news to see what will happen to Laketon.

"This is the Gauss Project News. Our Director Snowe had staged a massive bombing in Laketon, sending prices of food and water skyrocketing. For all of you Gauss Project citizens, soldiers, engineers, scientists, and everybody in between, you have no need as the Gauss Project WILL keep you all well fed. For all the non-GP citizens, do not riot or you will be killed."

President Fairfield

"Sir, we should relocate now."

Fairfield awoke from his daze. The gas had blackened him out. "Where's Dan?"
"Shot, but okay."
"Good, erm, get everyone one the trains to Detroit and Toronto. We will resume the war there.
"Yessir."

Within 15 minutes, almost everyone was on the train. "Alright, lets leave! Now! William's army is arriving!" The train began to move. It picked up speed, then it was at full speed, heading toward Detroit.

Alexander Scalatti


Alex walked to the front of the mob and laughed. "See New Manhattan, this is what I expected. Those [censored]s only care for themselves, and not the common man. They are not your friend, they ARE THE ENEMY!"

Alex turned on his pip-boy, and quietly muttered some words into the radio. He got a brief response, and he turned off the pip-boy. "People, its Liberty or Death. These idiots only care for themselves." A split second later, a banner with the face of the old mayor was displayed on Alex's casino.

Someone ran over and handed Alex a clunky microphone. "People of New Manhattan, my favorite city, the most beutiful city on earth, I love the dear hearts and gentle people of my hometown, but, we cannot be exploited." Alex turned around, faced the banner, and saluted it. "Rest in peace Mayor Larry."

Many people in the crowd did the same.

OOC @ Alex: I just have no real place in the story ATM is all. I'm just waiting for my cue is all. :laugh:

Director William Snowe

Securitron Legion 1 did its job. As it marched through the Laketon bunker, slaughtering everybody inside, William walked forward, the Snowe Personal Guard flanking him on all sides. But out of all the bodies of the people, the President and a considerable amount of civilians were missing. One of William's Generals approached him. "Sir, we've got reports of a train leaving to Detroit! We've got a Vertibird scout and a squadron of Vertibirds tracking it."

"Attack it from the air," William said before another message came through. Alex was going to start a coup d'état or at least something of a riot. "Divert the 2nd - 8th Legion and send it back to New Manhattan. That would be a total of...400 units? Yes...send it."

On command, the Securitrons guarding the outpost all converged towards the direction of New Manhattan, it would take them a day to get there but no matter, Securitrons don't need to eat, sleep, or rest so the journey would be very fast.

Gauss Project HQ

"Sir, we've got word that Alexander Scalatti is staging some sort of coup d'état or a riot. Director Snowe is sending 400 fully armed MK 1.9 Securitrons to New Manhattan to quell the rebellion." The HQ Director nodded as he saw the broadcast on the screen. "Launch the second phase of Alpha Omega."

Thirty Gauss Project supporters arrived on the stage, carrying Uzis. None were true GP civilians and were instead Manhattan citizens. Just cattle to the growing shadow government. All thirty Gauss Project supporters yelled out loudly, "vivere militare est!" and pulled out the guns before shooting the civilians.

Mieux was watching one of the city monitors, drinking a cup of cold Nuka Cola in ice when a buzz came on his old desk phone. "Mr. Mieux!" Said an urgent voice on the phone. "Yes, what is it?" He asked, partially uninterested. "It's New Manhattan sir, a man by the name of Alexander Scalatti has staged a take over of the city." Mieux scratched the left side of his newly grown moustache, thinking to himself a little. "Any report of whats going on?" The voice on the end said "No Sir, no news yet."

Using a radio frequency, Mieux spoke to Williams. "My good man, I understand you're in a bit of a struggle on the home front, anything I can do to avoid bloodshed? Well, I'm more interested in protecting innocents. Speaking of which, if this situation desolves into chaos and war, be careful of what you do, remember those two city blocks between Arcadia and New Manhattan? Well it's now filled with squatting refugees who fear war will come to New Manhattan, and people coming in from your rather brutal war path. I'm doing my best to care for them, if nothing else, avoid starting anything there. They're only civilians." A small brief static fell and Mieux regained connection, "Sorry, connection was lost, anyway, if there's anything I can do for you, you have the frequency, oh, and do tell me how that equipment I gave you worked out."

William waited for response of the takeover interception before his radio picked a transmission from Justin Mieux. "My good man, I understand you're in a bit of a struggle on the home front, anything I can do to avoid bloodshed? Well, I'm more interested in protecting innocents. Speaking of which, if this situation dissolves into chaos and war, be careful of what you do, remember those two city blocks between Arcadia and New Manhattan? Well it's now filled with squatting refugees who fear war will come to New Manhattan, and people coming in from your rather brutal war path. I'm doing my best to care for them, if nothing else, avoid starting anything there. They're only civilians." William paused for a moment before speaking into the radio. "The Federation train is being intercepted by a squadron of Vertibirds, the coup will pass over very soon. 400 fully armed MK 1.9 Securitrons are converging. And don't worry about the refugees, they're under GP protection and will be protected." He watched the second squadron of Veritibirds pass overhead to intercept the train again.

Vertibird Squadron 1 & 2

"We're coming over the train now...please confirm..."
"Positive ID on target, you're clear to fire."
The squadron all opened their payload. "Mini-nukes going out." The nukes, however powerful, were highly inaccurate and did little more than rock the train a bit. "Very little damage...the train's not coming back though...missiles going out."
The squadron opened up the payload and shot the missiles at the train with a lock-on.

Raising an eyebrow, Mieux spoke unassuredly, "If you say so, but if I may ask, just how do you plan to stop their Coup? I mean, I doubt call him a big meanie will make him rethink the situation" he looked over reports, he had a camera in Manhattan, but apparently, by accident, or someone finding it, the camera was disabled, leaving his only eyes in the city his spies, who, due to the amount of issues going on, couldnt just casually waltz out.
