Rules:

1. Keep Things Civil: I have seen many threads locked because of uncivility. Keep things clean and don't insult other people.

2. Post Length: I don't really care about the length of a post, but make it longer than just a sentence ok?

3. How Much You Should Post: If you are a main character or want to be one, post at least twice a day (this is not a binding rule.) If you are a side character, post at least once every two days or so. All I really want you to do is to make sure you are on top of whats going on. This RP is quick, and just missing a day can mean that you missed some key plot points.

4. NO UBERING: This is major. Don't play a god character. Don't uber at all, it ruins the RP for everybody. Please, follow RP canon. If you have to take an elevator to get to a location, don't just fly your vertibird, land, and just waltz in. Follow the lore that has been set.

5. Don't Do A Major Plot Change Without Other's Approval: Don't nuke a town to the ground unless you have approval.

6. Major events: Major events require planning. You HAVE TO GO THROUGH ME to plan a major event in the RP. Smaller events like a visit, no, you do not have to go through me. But a LARGE event like a huge battle, yes, go through me first.

7. Ask Questions. If in doubt, ask a me or a fellow RPer a question via OOC thread or PM. Don't assume, ask questions.

Locations:

EMPIRE WASTELAND:

New Manhattan: a walled town located on what was Central Park. The town is a thriving town with about 8000 people within its walls. The town is heavily sought after by several groups and is in the middle of a huge power struggle. Where will you fit in?

New York City is dark and depressing. Manhattan was full of tall buildings and still is. Sunlight rarely penetrates unto the streets below. Mutants are everywhere. The only safe place in Manhattan is the city of New Manhattan.

The city itself: (The year is 2283). The mayor is dead and the mayorship is being contested.

Central Square: The area where people come to talk about the day. Many shops and bars are located here.

North Wall: The area at the North of Town. It is heavily guarded as mutants attempt to break down the walls every day. Beyond the walls is darkness and death. Mostly a resedential area.

Evergreen: The area of town where casinos and bars are. The mafia hangs out here. The casinos are: CAPone (run by me) Yellowlight Poker and Snacks, and RADIATION.

Reuters: The main industrial area. This is where all the manufacturing happens.

Reuters Way: The only road in and out of town. It is heavily walled and leads to the Brookyln Bridge. A small port is located where the bridge once stood.

Ivory Square: The govermental square of New Manhattan

The Empire Wasteland:

Poseidon Energy Headquarters: Pre-war Poseidon Energy Corporate Headquarters and research facility. Enclave bunker beneath is now used by 50 D.C. remnants. Led by President Sutler and Colonel Adams.

Liberty Lost: A slaver camp located where the Statue of Liberty is. This is a HUGE slaver operation. The slavers are led by Fred Gandoe. They want control of New Manhattan.

New Rabition (Rabithead.): a smoldering ruin. Don't expect looting here.

Ghoul High: A small ghoul town located on the ruins of Queens High School in Queens. Home to about 126 Ghouls. They make their money by scauaging and trade. They are seeking to be controlled by New Manhattan.

Vault 109: Once a vault, now scraqed for Enclave use. The GECK was found there. Alexander Scalatti hails from there.

Vault 110: A vault that is still inhabited. The experiment was never enacted due to complications. Home to about 1200 People. Raiders want to attack and take it over.

Popgoestheweasel: A raider camp. Almost everyone wants it destroyed. The raiders launch attacks on almost every settlement. Located North of Manhattan.

Radioville: A medium sized town located in a walled compund in South Manhattan. A pre-war radio tower is located here. This town is where "Empire Radio" is broadcasted from. The mayor is Renald Paulson. who is also the DJ for the radio station.

Charlie and Sons Chemicals: A now abandoned building. Once housed the mutant army.

Camp Android: A huge camp led by the insitute. They want control of New Manhattan.

Arcadia: A growing town located near New Manhattan. Is led by a reclusive man named Justin.

Bridgeport: Located about 30 Miles from New Manhattan. A new but growing city. Is a major trade hub, as it is located on the extreme edge of the Empire Wasteland. Supplies clean water due to its old water treatment plant. Has the population number of Junktown. Many refugees want to enter the city, so the supplies are strained.

Congress Gate: The northern gate of the city. A smaller gate.

John Davis Gate: The main gate into Bridgeport. Slums are located near the gate.

Baldwin Plaza: The central square of the city. The goverment buildings are located here.

Crossway Market: Located on the old ruins of a mall, this is one of the biggest markets in the world. Traders from all over come to here for supplies.

The Port: A major port located on the waterfront.

The Slums: Located just outside of the John Davis Gate. The slums are dangerous and smelly. Expect to get mugged. Most of the citizens go around and enter through the Congress Gate. All of the citizens of the Slums are refugees.

BEYOND THE EMPIRE WASTELAND:

The Lake Federation: A large federation of towns that makes it money by fishing and by water caravans. They are located in Michigan and parts of Canada.

Laketon: A smoldering ruin that is being rebuilt.

Ronto: A former raider/slaver fortress that was captured by Lake Federation Soldiers.

General Motors Factory: Where the Tesla Lamp is located.

OOC: I tried to make this post family-friendly. Hopefully it's not to bad.

Lyn Grave

Lyn woke up to the sun shining in her face. She rubbed her eyes, and sat up from her spot on the ground. A fre of the people from last night were still there, chatting about the night. A man took notice of Lyn waking up, and shouted out to her.
"Hey, the party girl is awake!" Oh god, what did I do last night. I can't remember any of it. "That was amazing what you did. I've never seen two deathclaws ballroom dance together." Lyn let out a sigh of relief. Well, that could have been worse. Still, how the hell did I convince deathclaws to ballroom dance? Lyn got up to her feet and brushed the backside of her dress off. After a quick check to make sure her underwear were still on, which to her relief were still there, she stretched out and considered what to do. She decided on going down to the water for a swim. She walked down to the waterfront, and greeted the mirelurks that showed up to investigate. After removing her dress and pistol holster, leaving her in her underwear, she dived into the river. The mirelurk hatchlings followed her into the water, eager to play.

Sutler watched the construction intently from a third story window of the Poseidon Energy CEO's Office.

Who knows, maybe when there's a distinction between politicians and soldiers again this could serve as the President's Office. The saluaging of Vault 109 was complete, every chair and sofa, every generator and toolbox was now safely stored, if not a little hap-hazardly, in the lower basments of the office building. Sutler had gone a long way to making this building seem more like a home than a bunker. He had begun opening up area's of the building for habitation, no longer crowded into barracks, people were now getting individual rooms, coverted offices from before the war; new structures were being built outside on the grass within the compounds electrified fence, and within the Enclave's forcefield. A irrigation system had been built along several now corn, cabbage and carrot plantations, there were evens plans for Brahmin pens; structures being built from the salvaged rooms of the Vault were begining to take shape, squat metal boxes which housed some of the new systems, some would even become homes, eventually, if they lasted that long.

The sunlight Sutler was bathed in was the first he had felt in days, he was becoming a hermit in the bunker, all the activity going on the surface and he remained in the Command Center of his Office, which he even ate in now. He looked over his new Enclave, cigarette in hand, and tried to feel proud of what had been acomplished, but the dead weight that in however many years, no one here would make suitable soldiers or mothers and fathers, they'd be getting too old.

Mieux stared over the city of New York, or rather, what had been New York. It was so dark, apart from New Manhattan and Arcadia, the city was purged in darkness. He chuckled to himself at how the light pollution from Arcadia illuminated the gap of old city between the two settlements. After having mused to himself, he went back into his office, a classic wood paneled wall and red carpeted floors. Mieux sat down in his comfortable chair, idly wriggling a pen between his left pointer and middle fingers as he read some of the latest reports. "Hm, glad to see the caravans are flourishing, this lightens up the food rationing." He wrote down a memo to himself to remember to lift the food rationing rule. He spent the night filling out some paper work he'd left undone.

OOC: My goal for the first couple posts is to even out the GP since it's about time. 6 threads of success, now failure. And since my faction's seen lots of success, failure should be there. So yeah...who wants to be the dominant faction? New Manhattan won't fall but the GP's military strength will be severely weakened in exchange for regular food that they had before.
Director William Snowe

William looked out to see many of the "workers" eating happily during break hours. Even after the autocracy passed, time management for workers were strictly enforced which was to be the biggest mistake he's ever made. The 3 meals a day was enough to drive a stagnant food intake, which was terrible considering that thousands of people could easily give birth to babies very fast.

Even combining the secret caravans from Maine and the Arcadia food imports, it barely stayed stagnant. A month of stagnation would be enough for the food demand to rise and the supply run dry. And with Sonia, William's "voice of reason" hospitalized and in physical therapy, that was enough for the new aristocratic government to make very bad decisions.

William needed the GECK but that meant a war with the Enclave. He headed to the Ivory Tower council room. "We need to do something about the food..."
"We can always make them slaves again sir...that will give us back a 4% surplus of food considering they don't get the food rights like we do."
"No, Phase 4 is almost starting and..." William stopped himself and stared out at Arcadia. The bright lights were enough to make William almost shed a tear for what could've been.

"Shut down the Alpha Omega project. This time, wait until I have a child and prepare from now until that time comes. Until then, let's just manage New Manhattan the way nature intended it to. Once we shut down the project, many Securitrons have to go dormant as we transfer power to the farms. We'll rule New Manhattan as an aristocracy but until the 6th generation does what I fail to do, I'll extend an olive branch to the Federation and Bridgeport. Send the message."

The councilors all radioed the message of peace and free trade in Bridgeport while having a long cease fire for the Federation. At the same time, all but 400 Securitrons headed down to the GP bunker to prepare to be dormant. William personally redirected 70% of the power that's been devoted to the Securitron database to the farms and factories, providing a decent food surplus.

OOC: I have a nonviolent approach to hitting you where it hurts Dark but it'll take a few posts to put together.

Mieux was mildy frustrated, between alot of revenue that had to be spent feeding New Manhattans refugees during Williams warring. And then other recent events he was stressed. But as such, he sent a message to President Sutler requesting his urgent attendance to a meeting tommorow morning. He then placed a card on Scalatti's door requesting he stay another day or two. Finally, he sent a formal invitation to New Manhattan via courier requesting Williams bring himself, Sonia, and two or three council members of his government tommorow morning and was also told not to use his vertibird, his party would have to walk to the the hotel. He also sent one to Colonel Adams. All his invites were marked 8:00 A.M., Williams was doing alot to apologize and behave, but Mieux felt Williams still needed punishing, and he needed Sutler and Scalatti to do it. In prepration for the morning, he got an old boardroom on it's own floor prepared, it hadnt been entered in 200 years since the war. Mieux dusted off the tables and chairs like a man possessed, he then placed notes pens down for each chair, and purified water pitchers, nuka colas, alchohols and brahmin, lettuce, and tomato sandwiches on the order menu to be prepared at 7:00 A.M. for the guests. The boardroom was filled with black leather armchairs, luxuriously rich mahogany table, and glass windows that showed the city, at night it was a black abyss, in the day, it left a sense of longing for better days.

Sutler was back down in the Command Center ,where he belonged, casually smoking away, an encrypted PoseidoNet communication had been recieved from Miuex, requesting his attendence at a meeting tomorrow morning, a meeting of a clandestine nature it seemed. Sutler mused, the nature of this meeting intruiged him, perhaps it related to the "experimental device" or to finalise this "treaty" of his. Whatever the case, he would attend, he and the Secretary of Veteran's Affairs, Major Fiona Maskell, Adams would also be there no doubt, he would fly in at 6 o'clock; Sutler checked his watch, it was getting harder to survive on his usually poor sleep pattern, he nodded to himself, finished his cigarette before stubbing it out and returning to his quarters.

OOC: I'll go with the flow and act accordingly to keep the GP the aristocratic rule over New Manhattan.
Director William Snowe

William got the message loud and clear. He assembled his council and told them the message. The council burst into conversation, especially the part of not being able to use their Vertibird. After the shut down of Securitron Legions 5-9, leaving only enough to defend New Manhattan against most threats, it seemed like a death trap.

William silenced the council. "I will comply but I will also bring my personal guard. They're loyal, obedient, and most of all, the best fighters I've ever seen. Commander Byron, Ambassador Flax, and Civil Affairs Chief Rose will accompany me along with Sonia and the personal guard."

Byron stood up with a Pre-War General outfit, adorned with medals and the important 5 star decoration. Ambassador Holly Flax was next and bowed respectfully, her robes resembling a Scribe's robes with a black tint and the GP logo on the right shoulder. Civil Affairs usually wasn't called but any sorts of negotiation that impacted New Manhattan was their business. Lydia Rose rose and again bowed, again wearing the same outfit the Ambassador wore, only with light purple colour.

The council started to pack up and the personal guard immediately headed down the elevator. William stopped by the Ivory Tower med-bay where Sonia was transferred to during the bunker's construction. "Sonia, we're headed to Arcadia. Wanna come?"

She nodded, beaming that she gets to step out of the med-bay. "Alright! But I'm still a little wobbly so..."
"We have to walk. Justin specifically ordered us to but nevertheless, I will perform a remote scan just in case it's a trap."
Sonia didn't seem to mind and walked out of the med-bay somewhat awkwardly before getting her balance. The small group of people headed out to Arcadia and reached the main gate. William secretly radioed the HQ. "Perform a long range scan, I don't care if it's inaccurate, just want to know if it's a trap or not."

"No...no, it's just Mieux right now. You can proceed."

The group headed inside Justin's tower and talked to the receptionist. "I've come to talk about Justin's invite. Call him."

A monitor flickered on over the reception desk. "My, aren't we ahead of schedule. I apologize, but your men arent permitted to come in, this meeting is for leadership ears only, your guards will remain down here in the lobby. But you'll be quite bored, our other guest has yet to arrive," He had a Maitre'd escort the leaders to the elevator and brought them into the board room, it was silent, no one in the room, but their plates where their name was labeled had sandwiches, Mieux clearly saw them coming just as they had entered the gates. The monitor on the wall showing Mieux, I apologize, but it is 5:30 A.M. our next guest is not here just yet, but please, enjoy this as my compliments of my hospitality." The monitor turned off, soon, after, Mozarts 'Elvira Madigan' gently played in the room. The visitors left to do as they please until the others arrived. A voice spoke on the monitor "I do hope the comforts I am giving will make up for my men stripping you all of weapons."

Director William Snowe

William just nodded silently and relieved the guards of their duty and made them patrol the outside in case of any assassins or unwanted visitors entering the tower. He looked around at the monitors and nervously looked around. He tapped out a message to the councilors and Sonia. "Just pretend he sees and hears everything."

"William, what's going on?" Sonia asked out loud. At least she got the message.
"Dear, the food shortages were at an all time high. Alpha Omega has to wait until we have a child and he or she grows old enough. Until then, all we can do is prepare."
Sonia nodded sadly before smiling slyly while eating her sandwich. "Child eh?"
"Good to see you're feeling good...this is how the business meet is gonna go."

William tapped out another short message on the table in Morse code. "Don't discuss the real meeting plans, fake it."

They started talking about random discussions of previous meeting plans while switching up a bit to try and throw off Justin if he is listening in. Even if he can anolyze the Morse code, it still would make it so that he doesn't know the real plan. After that, the conversation shifted to regular things about personal life, past life stories, etc.

The metal flap slammed open and then shut – another letter had been dropped in the box. Adams immediately left his breakfast, mirelurk cakes, and rushed over to the mailbox. Tearing the envelope, he read the contents.

“A meeting, eh? This is rather odd. And at 8am, no less,” Adams muttered to himself, cocking an eyebrow. He detected something was up – if it were just me he wanted to speak to, there wouldn’t be such a formal invitation.

Adams sighed; it was early, but he refused to miss the conference – knowing Mieux, he could be offering anything. The Colonel buttoned up his trench coat, clipped his trusty plasma defender and paced off to the room titled ‘Boardroom’.

After navigating him way through a maze of corridors, Adams reached his destination. He pushed the creaky lavish door. The boardroom itself was quaint and beautifully decorated. Place reeks of pre-war, Adams mused, absorbing and admiring his surroundings. But the design was not what stood out.

GP! Honestly? Adams had never truly seen Director Snowe in the flesh clearly, only the distinctive sound of his pathetic voice as his men cowered and trembled at the might of the Enclave. The Colonel smiled at the thought, resisting a chuckle.

Adams strode towards his seat; the tread of his boots dominated the soft classical music floating around the room. Finally, he sat, his back straight and his large eyes staring into Snowe’s.

“Well, well, well, look who it is. Director William Snowe. And who’s this? Ah, yes, your wife Sonia. I must say, Mrs. Snowe, you’re looking a little worse for wear. Is this how William treats you? Dragging you through the ruins of New York? Hmm, not much better than his citizens, really?” Adams’s expression remained cold. He was not trying to be funny; the man facing him was an enemy. “Oh, that’s a point: have the flames been put out yet? You made a real mess there, and to think, you almost lost to a ragtag militia and a pitiful band of super mutants. For shame, Mr. Snowe.”

Adams directed his gaze towards the delicacies dotting the table. He desperately wanted a sandwich, but he’d have to wait. Instead, he poured himself a glass of water from the pitcher, fighting of a smile. The Colonel knew Director Snowe couldn’t really do anything, and Adams relished in the fact.

OOC: Just so you know, I didn't mean Sonia looked drunk when I said 'worse for wear'. I meant ill. Sorry if I didn't make that clear. :P

It was 7 am when President Sutler, Major Maskell, Captain Briggs and Sergeant Kefling boarded the Vertibird; Sutler was, of course, in his dress uniform with his full collection of 18 medals on display, his boots were polished and his mustache recently trimmed. Maskell was the Secretary of Veterans Affairs and like all members of Sutler's Cabinet, with the exception of Adams, she was a veteran of Adams Airforce Base and like the majority of Sutler's men, her humanity had all but been destroyed with the Mobile Crawler, she too was in full dress uniform. Briggs and Kefling would accompany them as far as they could, in case trouble broke out between the colourful variety of people attending this meeting; Sutler being Sutler, regards them all with equal contempt and refused to risk being svckered into a trap. Sutler looked around at the people in the back of the bird, all bloody veterans of the Enclave's worst, before looking down at his palms and absently drumming his fingers on his lap.

"Alright Mr President are cleared for take off?" The pilot asked.

Sutler snapped out of a trance, "Sure thing Johnson, get this bird in air."

The familar sound of the landing gear retracting filled the air before the crunching of the surface blast-doors opening could be heard, the bird ascended into the sky and in the direction of the Manhattan Boneyard where Miuex's tower was a lighthouse of civilisation, But how long beforeI subb it out? Sutler thought, Would it even be in my lifetime? Probably not. As far as Sutler could tell, the GP now controlled much of Manhattan island, the Eyebot scouts had brought back much footage of their securitrons and slave soldiers; as Sutler had received nothing indicating otherwise, the Vertibird began to slow down before landing on the pads on Arcade roof. Sutler led the men out of the Vertibird and, keeping a tight hold of his hat beneath the spinning rotors, proceeded into the building, before he entered he turned and watched the Verti take off again and fly away, sometimes he couldn't help but be blown away by the majesty of flight. He lit a cigarette, and due to his un-expected party, waited for Miuex to collect them. In the meantime he radioed Adams.

"Adams? This is Sutler, I assume your already down in the meeting room, I've just arrived and are on the helipad with Maskell, Briggs and Kefling, Miuex's communication said the GP was bringing more than just their Director. What's going on down there? Over."

OOC: As you didn't say otherwise, and I think I remember you saying I could, I arrived via Vertibird, will edit if I've stepped on your toes' old boy.

Adams sipped the water, his eyes still fixed on the director. He was going to assert his dominance, even if he had to fight for it – verbally, of course. Suddenly, the radio cackled. Adams did not avert his gaze as he unclipped the radio.

“Excuse me for a moment,” he said, before leaving the room.

"Adams? This is Sutler, I assume your already down in the meeting room, I've just arrived and are on the helipad with Maskell, Briggs and Kefling, Miuex's communication said the GP was bringing more than just their Director. What's going on down there? Over."

Maskell? Ugh… Adams spoke quietly into the radio, almost whispering. “Funny you should say that, Mr. President; I’ve just had a brief chat with the Director himself. He’s wife is here, too; she looks beaten and ill – my advice? We exploit that for all its worth. I’ve no doubt his woman will weaken him.” Adams chuckled slightly, before continuing. “They look slimy, and they’re an enemy. You don’t need me to tell you not to trust them. I suggest we treat them with hostility; although we’re under Mieux’s jurisdiction, I can assure you he’ll rush to our aid should it all get a little messy. Of course, I’d rather avoid violence, but we cannot be controlled by such scum – this is exactly why you should sign the treaty. Over.”

Adams remained outside the Boardroom. Although he attempted to remain quiet, his voice was loud and would still echo throughout the halls. Adams would rather avoid any conflict until backup arrived.

Sutler listened before taking a drag on his cigarette and continuing; he was a little uneasy and annoyed with Adams.

"I have no idea where your almost instant dislike for this people comes from but we are in no position to antagonise, personally I want to know what Scalatti did with the many prisoners he captured, Eyebots saw them with mutants and now... [censored] knows, or cares but I still want to know, the mutants are pretty stong around here. But the GP, the Director and his wife?" Sutler sighed and shook his head in mock bewilderment. "I am going to sign Miuex's rag Adams, your constant pressing of it makes me unsure of something, I said I would sign it so there, done. Over."

Adams’s eyes widened in amazement. Mildly frustrated at the President’s ignorance, he spat into the radio. “Are you mad? The man almost burnt an entire city to the ground – a prospering city on the verge of success! All under the guise of protecting its very citizens. That equates to foolishness, and makes it crystal clear that he cannot be trusted. Not even Mieux is confident with him.” Adams exhaled briefly, wiping his forehead. “I’m amazed at your unawareness – you’ve read the same reports as I, and yet you fail to recognise the GP as an enemy?”

Adams’s voice rang throughout the corridors. Dammit… He lowered his tone and spoke again. “This… this is not the time. I assume there’s more to this conference than just signing one treaty. Perhaps it’s about Scalatti and his mutant army – it’s mightily disturbing, I’ll give you that at least. Over.”

Sutler was exaperated and Miuex's own rooftop was hardly a fitting location for such talk, but Sutler couldn't help but continue.

"It's not that I don't see them as an enemy fool, however self-destructive they are can surely only work to our advantage? I don't want a strong pawn, I want a piss poor pawn who will do the job of killing himself for me, I would use the GP as much as we will be using Miuex once I've signed his treaty, they're all our enemy Adams. Don't convince yourself I'm doing this for mutual benefit, whatever you may be doing it for, this is purely about Enclave supremacy. Your right this isn't the time or place, after the meeting. Over."

Mieux opened the doors of the board room, he was the most lavishly dressed, his hair well oiled, his suit his typical double briasted brown suit and read tie, his newly grown moustache neatly combed. He had passed Adams, giving the colonel a polite 'Good Morning as he passed, who looked very irrate in the hall. He cocked an eyebrow at the room, he didnt say a word, his feet lightly thumping on the carpeted floor, the only sound other than his feet in the room was the sound of the soft hum of the air conditioning. He sat down and organized a folder at his spot on the table, then he looked up, and said with a smile "Well then, Mr. Scalatti appears to be getting ready, but we'll start this meeting when President Sutler arrives and Colonel Adams comes back." He scribbled something down on his papers and said, "But in the meantime, I'll just finish writing some things down, so do forgive me for not speaking." And as he'd said he would, he continued writing down a few key points he'd bring up to the meeting when it started.

OOC: Sorry for the slight wait.

Adams was starting to burn red and fume. After everything he’s said he now has the gall to call me a fool! Adams would not back down; he didn’t care where he was, he just made sure to keep his voice down. Adams saluted Mieux, who was looking very chic, before speaking into the radio.

“I think you fail to understand the GP. Despite my mocking of them, they’re not as weak as you believe. You’ve seen the reports; they’ve technology rivalling ours, hell, some of it’s better. Think clearly for a moment: there’s nothing guaranteeing their self-destruction. The GP are dangerous and barbaric, but deeming them stupid would be an imprudent claim – they’d happily stab us in the back, unlike Mieux, who working with is purely beneficial.” Adams paused for moment, catching his breath. “You know me: you know I want to exploit the wasteland’s offerings, but it won’t work with the GP. It’s really that simple. It’s best to treat them with hostility, and try and eradicate them before it’s too late. Anything else is too risky.”

It was just then that Adams realised he was beginning to sound like Sutler. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry, he mused to himself. “Look, we’re both getting carried away; this is not the time nor the place. If we must, let’s continue the discussion later. Until then, I’ll see you in the boardroom. Over and out.”

Adams, still slightly incensed, waited for a moment to let the flushed expression on his face die. Exhaling extensively, he straightened up his uniform and re-entered the room.

“You have my sincerest apologies, Mr. Mieux,” he leaned towards Mieux’s ear and whispered, preventing William and Sonia from hearing. “Just the President being difficult again.”

Adams sat on the leather chair – it was heaven to his buttocks. He addressed Mieux with a warm smile. “So, what’s the agenda? Who else are we waiting on?” The Colonel sat back, taking a lengthy gulp from his glass.

Sutler entered the Boardroom later, noticably annoyed that he had been removed of his sidearms, he sat down next to Adams and smoothed his uniform, Maskell sat on the otherside of Sutler. Briggs and Kefling remained outside.

OOC: Sorry for the small post, have to go, just wanted to let everyone know I was there and ready.

Alexander Scalatti

Alex awoke from his long sleep. He turned over and looked at the clock. 8:30 AM! Oh [censored]! I'm late! Alex jumped out of the bed, hastily took a shower, and put on a black suit with a black fedora to match.

He grabbed all of his belongings, stuffed it in his briefcase, and ran out of the penthouse.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It took a minute, but he checked out of the hotel. He exited the hotel. The sun was risen already, and Arcadia seemed to be bustling.

Alex walked over to the gate, got all of his weapons back, and entered no-mans-land.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alex patiently waited at the docks. Where the [censored] are the mutants? Then, out of nowhere, a large object began to take shape.

"ALEX WE HAVE A HELICOPTER FROM AN OLD MUSEUM COME IN!!!!!!!!"

The helicopter was jury-rigged, and looked like it would collapse at any minute. Alex did not care, as soon as it landed, he boarded.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alex was greeted by Harris as soon as he landed.

"Harris, are those slums outside of the John Davis gate?"
"Lemme explain in the council."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Alex, we have started to build the tall buildings, as you can see. The skeletons have already began to go up into the air."
Alex sighed. "I can see that Harris, now tell me about those [censored] slums!!!"

Harris nodded. "Last night, about 800 refugees came here. We denied them access, but overnight, they gathered a TON of crap, and built shanties."

"OH [censored], this is what I was afraid of, we cannot support them."

"We could start the caravans again."

Alex''s face beamed with a grin. "Great idea, I want a large caravan ready to go in about three hours. I will lead them to Arcadia first, then to New Manhattan."

"Alright Alex, I trust your judgement."

OOC: I thought Alex was inside Justin's penthouse, and the meeting room was in the same building

Lyn Grave

Lyn finished swimming with the young mirelurks. Both were getting a bit tired, so they climbed back on to the bank of the river. Lyn laid down to dry off in the sun, and the mirelurks curled up against her for a nap. Lyn had dried off within a few minutes, but she stayed longer so that she wouldn't disturb the resting young. After a few minutes of growing discomfort, she got up as gently as possible, and went to retrieve her clothes. She slid her clothes back on and replaced her pistol before making her way back up to town. On her way up, she noticed some shoddily built shelters that seemed out of place. Curious as to what was being set up outside the walls, she went into the area to investigate. The people that inhabited the area looked as ragged as the shelters that were built. Many of the people looked over her greedily, admiring her fancy clothes and feminine figure. She was beginning to feel uncomfortable, so she moved to make her way away from the people. By the time she thought she was alone, she heard a chuckle from nearby. A ragged man holding a knife moved to confront her.
"Hey you pretty thing, you look generous. Maybe you could hand over your caps, and we can all leave happy." The ragged man smirked, thinking he had just hit the motherlode. Three more equally ragged men moved in from the shadows, surrounding her. Despite the situation, Lyn chuckled a bit.
"Bad move, strangers. Surely you've seen the deathclaw nest that lives near the city? That nest is under my control, and will follow my command to the letter. As I speak, four deathclaws, including the alpha male, are closing in on our position." Lyn smirked. The four men burst into an uproar of laughter. "Oh, that's rich!" One of them managed to get out between laughs. "You must be on a jet high or something!" Annother managed to get out. Within a few moments, the leader had regained his composure. He motioned for two of his men to restrain her. They grabbed Lyn's arms roughly. Lyn made no attempt to struggle, and the smirk remained on her face.
"Alright, let's see your 'deathclaws' then." The leader snorted. By that time, screams could be heard from the town. Lyn's smirk grew to to a broad smile. Just then, the deathclaws turned the corner to the street where Lyn was standing. The muggers let go of Lyn, and stared at the deathclaws, paralyzed by fear. The alpha male made the first move to the group, picking up the leader and holding him to his face. The deathclaw roared in his face, and Lyn chuckled as she realized the man was wetting himself. The mugger was set back down on his feet, and he promptly fainted. The alpha male snorted in amusemant, but made no further moves. Lyn then turned to the remaining muggers.
"Now that I've got your attention, I want you to tell me why this part of town is in shambles. I'm a compassionate person, so I'm going to do everything I can to make sure you don't need to mug anyone again."
"W-we're just refugees, ma'am." One of the men relied. "We've got no food, and no money. We're just doing what we have to to survive! Please, forgive us ma'am!"
Lyn nodded, then waved all but one deathclaw off. "I've told the deathclaws to hunt for all the food they can carry. The young can carry two brahmin apiece, and the older ones can get four. By the time they get back, you will have 60 200 pound Brahmin corpses to butcher and distribute among the city. I will also get the mirelurks to work double time, so they will brin in a steady supply of fish. I'm assuming your leader might also need medical attention for the shock, so we will need to get him to a doctor." Lyn then moved to the fainted man to check his vitals. As far as Lyn could tell, he just needed some time to rest. The rest of the men were bowing down before Lyn.
"Your kindness and forgiveness are awe inspiring, ma'am. We won't forget the kindness you have shown us by sparing us." One of the men replied. Lyn motioned for the men to get up and follow her. At the same time, the remaining deathclaw gently picked up the fainted man and threw him over his shoulder. The group made their way, to where the three men said the local doctor was located. As they stood outside the medical tent, the deathclaw handed the man down for the three men to carry, then ran off to join in the hunt. Lyn led the way into the tent, and the three men laid their leader on one of the beds. Lyn made her way to the doctor.
"Doc, we brought in a man that needs to be treated for shock." The doctor sighed a bit before replying.
"My resources are slim, but I shouldn't need much for this. I assume you are the one who is going to pay the medical fee?"
"I don't have any caps, but I am bringing in a large supply of food for the town. I can set aside a larger portion to be given to you. Alternatively, I can provide assistance with your duties. I have some medical knowledge, and I can do other chores if asked."
"Good, good...With all these refugees, and so few doctors, the help would be appreciated. I don't need to be given more food, there are plenty of others that need that food more than I do." The doctor replied. "Now, let's see what we can do for the man you brought in." Lyn nodded, and went back to the three men, who had taken seats near their leader's bed.
"I want you four to coordinate the distribution of food in this area. I will check up on you, to make sure you are being fair in your job." The four men nodded, and Lyn got to work helping the doctor.

OOC: @Ramendia: That post was awesome :D

Alexander Scalatti

It was about two hours until the caravan was going to leave, and Alex was in his office filling out paperwork. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Hj3HMXrHXU

"Alex, lemme in!" Vladimir was knocking on the door.
Alex snubbed his cigar. "Come in Vlad."

Vlad opened the door. There was blood all over his fur coat.

"Vlad man! What the [censored] happened?"
"The refugees happened...they even tried to mug Lyn."
"Were you shot?"
"No, this is their blood."
"I don't even want to know."

Vlad casually sat down in the open chair. "I would like to come with you on your caravan.
Alex raised an eyebrow. "I thought you were already coming."
Vlad laughed. "Da!"
"Fine, but we're taking the Congress Gate."

Director William Snowe

“Well, well, well, look who it is. Director William Snowe. And who’s this? Ah, yes, your wife Sonia. I must say, Mrs. Snowe, you’re looking a little worse for wear. Is this how William treats you? Dragging you through the ruins of New York? Hm, not much better than his citizens, really?”

William remembered Adams all too well. It was he who made the GP even weaker from the lack of the GECK. William stayed silent as Sonia hung her head in shame and tried to stay quiet.

“Oh, that’s a point: have the flames been put out yet? You made a real mess there, and to think, you almost lost to a ragtag militia and a pitiful band of super mutants. For shame, Mr. Snowe.”

Adams was abusing the fact that William couldn't do anything here without sparking a war. He stayed silent again and radioed HQ. "Keep the radars trained on the tower, just in case."

The small council started to converse about the course of the meeting. Without the personal guard, William's best soldiers and fighters, and the massive Securitron army, the only bargaining chip would be the large amount of electricity generated from the Plasma Lamp, which could be transferred to nearby cities for money. This meeting in William's eyes was to make amends and create alliances while still controlling New Manhattan.
