Mayor Frank Vercelotti - Mayoral Estate

Frank was awoken by the beautiful sight of Lyns face in the middle of the night, and they both decided to have some fun under the covers. Thus, the Mayor awoke fresh and alive in the morning.

"You're the best Lyn." he winked at her, giving her a passionate kiss. All thoughts had now been completely diverted to her, and Senet thrusted into the back of his mind.

---

An hour later, he had finished accompanying Lyn have breakfast and soon dressed up when a messenger buzzed the intercom. "Take a message." Frank cried to the butler. Minutes later, the butler arrived with the news.

"Sir, it seems the lady you dropped off in your old apartment yesterday has been captured." the aged manservant croaked.

The Mayor cringed. Dammit, why did you have to say it like that? Lyn is going to think something is up. What would she say? 'I've only been gone one day, and you're already meeting other women?'

"Captured by who?" he winced, conscience of his girlfriends presence.

"Soldiers say they've ID'd the captors as Gauss Project, sir." he answered.

"The Director." Frank whispered to himself, before finally turning around to face Lyn, ready for the hail of questions and accusations. "It's not what you think!" he exclaimed. Frank had a track record of being a bit aloof with himself, there would be no way to disprove whatever he may have said without confirmation from the girl herself.

OOC: Wow, Frank is a bad person :D

For the NCR, they won't get to the East anytime soon, they have their hands full in the Mojave.

OOC: Frank man...he's freakin awesome. :D
As for the NCR...who won the battle of the Mojave?

Sonia Snowe

Sonia listened intently. However she saw it, brutal interrogation worked far less than her method. She gave a sheepish smile. "Well we have one working satellite from Pre-War times and well...it's Pre-War. With all the atmospheric conditions, it's not as good as it used to be, we can only identify where NCR buildings are. And our scouts and spies are...occupied at the moment."

Sonia nodded. "Alright...just one last question. It's not about the NCR. The Canadian Army, tell me everything you know about them. What they wear into battle, what their tech is, everything. Do this and...honestly, I don't know. But William's my husband...I can tell him to let you go and he will. So just answer it."

OOC: I won't canonize it, just because there are four endings :D

John Fairfield

The verti-birds landed to a booing crowd. There were effigies of John being burned, Lake Federation flags being beaten and torn, and insults being hurled.

The Lake Federation always had John in one of the three verti-birds so that assasination was much less likely. The middle one's main door opened, and six power armored soldiers walked out with John in the middle of the pack. The crowd booed, and some even spit on the power armored solders.

Then, the first verti-bird opened, showing several diplomats and even more guards, but without power armor. There was one guard with a Sniper Rifle.

Then, the third vertibird opened, a full marching band began to play the Lake Federation National Anthem, which was http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xl_rljOB4AE&feature=fvst The crowd of GP citizens booed even louder to this.

Then, out of the third vertibird, came a person waving the Lake Federation flag. The man was flanked on both sides by guards. It was like a mini parade.

One of John's attendants ran over to him. "I wonder how William is going to react to this!"

John chuckled. "Not so well I bet!"

"What they wear into battle? It's what im wearing" she pointed to her camo Combat Armor "They don't have much tech wise other than trucks, jeeps, attack vertibirds and transport choppers. They fight in squads of 6, and sometimes artillery backs them up. They are armed with C7 5.56 mm rifles and F1 grenades. That's about all i know, they didn't tell me much" she said "Now please! Let me go!"

OOD: You can choose what is in the package.

Alexander Scalatti

Alex reached into his briefcase and pulled out a box. On the old box were the words:

To Justin

"Justin, I found this package in a very old pre-war mailing office. It was supposed to be sent out the day the bombs dropped, its from Estelle, don't worry, I have not opened it yet! I found it over five years ago, but never got to opening it."

Alex walked over slowly and handed Justin the package.

Mieux looked at the small package, a desire to open it, but with a quick reaction, he simply threw the present in the small fire place, smiling softly. He could see Alex looked a little confused and said in a kind tone, "I've lived my life. Estelle, RobCo, a nine to five job. I left all those behind Alex, my life was over a long time ago. Though I'll always wonder what was in that package, I'll have finally come to terms with being an alien in a new world. Look at Arcadia, look what I've built, even if I could spout water and pre-war life for the US now, it wouldnt change the fact that I've long lived my life as 'ruler', it's time I hand the mantle to someone else." He dug into his left briast pocket and pulled out a gold keycard with the letter M engraved in the center, two reliefs of Atlas holding the M in the globe on their shoulders. "It's the master key for Arcadia, every computer or electronic device in this city and the old metro are all under that keycards control. I am no longer it's master" He smiled and pat Alex on the shoulder, "Having stepped down as leader, I feel a weight off my chest now. It's beautiful. Now maybe people will quit trying to kill me." Mieux said, chuckling at the end.

Alexander Scalatti

The keycard fell into Alex's hands. The key to every lock in Arcadia, and in New Manhattan was in his hands. Ann even stood up and gazed onto it.

"Having stepped down as leader, I feel a weight off my chest now. It's beautiful. Now maybe people will quit trying to kill me." Mieux said, chuckling at the end.

Alex chuckled a bit too. "Of course, now they will go after me!" After he was done laughing, he got into a more serious tone. "I will continue your epic plans for this city, by the time I die, I will see the USA united, that is my personal goal. You built the foundation, I will use the foundation to reach for the stars, trust me."

Ann was just glad that all of this elegant stuff was hers now.

Sonia Snowe

Sonia soaked up all this very well. She gave a sincere smile and gestured for one of the jail guards to come to her. "Yes ma'am?" The jail guard saluted.

"Unlock the cell door," Sonia ordered. The jail guard complied and Sonia smiled as she gestured for Senet to leave. "Listen, I really am sorry this. You can either wait in the lobby of this building or go explore Antium."

As that was spoken, she was immediately riddled with messages on her PDA about a full scale riot when Fairfield landed. Sonia's eyes widened when she heard that William sent for him. She darted out of the prison room as fast as she could and headed for the Zodiac Tower.

Director William Snowe

Fairfield landed. And was it quite a show. Three Vertibirds landed and out came Fairfield with his power armoured body guards. That much was expected but what nobody expected was the FREAKING marching band!

William sighed as he radioed the Colonel who was responsible for keeping the citizens under control. "Stop the marching band. I'm not in the mood for loud music nor a riot."

An audible "yes sir" was heard as William sighed and stepped out of the Penthouse into the balcony adorned with flowers and ivory. "Fairfield, stop your barbaric chant and just get in here, would you?"

He sighed again and sat down on his fine leather couch as Sonia rushed in. "Why...WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME FIRST?!" She yelled.

"Sonia...I knew you would reject this no matter what. You still have pent up hate against Fairfield. So do I but you can't control it," William said frankly. Sonia was going to say something but the receptionist interrupted. "Sir, John Fairfield is here, shall I send him to your Penthouse?"

"Yes but tell him to lose the bodyguards except for 1."

Mieux gave a chuckle and simply said, "Now you know why I hardly left the penthouse." He then walked up the blacony stairs that overlooked the living room. "Well Alex, I'm going to take a walk in the park while the air is still pleasant tonight. Enjoy your new found position my friend." Mieux didn't tell Alex, but he had a reason to go see the streets. He simply hummed as ANR played http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=58MZ8ECtPTw' as the elevator descended to the lobby.

Arcadia News Radio-

"Howdy folks, this is Mr. Utopia with a special LIVE report." There was a small bit of noise as American Swing started playing at low volume so Mr. Utopia was audible. "I've JUST been given report that Mr. Justin Mieux, founder of the settlement Arcadia, has officially stepped down as chairman of the city. In his place, he has named the young man Alex Scalatti as his appointed successor as the new Mr. Mieux, the founder of the city had this to say," the radio soon played a recorded statement by Justin over the airwaves, "I just want to say this, I have full confidence in Alex that he will carry forward our cities utopic ideals into the future. That said, I am very pleased to have picked a capable young man as he. I also want to add that I wish a fond farewell as Leader of Arcadia, one final time." The radio cutback to Mr. Utopia, and now, in celebration, Justin Mieux has launched fireworks tonight, and now, to play a song that reflects what America does best, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=58MZ8ECtPTw."

Senet was in shock

So i can't leave? she thought, she looked for anyway out, but there was none, so she went into the lobby, and paced around, growing more worried by the minute.

Why can't I leave? she continued to grow more worried, she sat down, and stared in a blank stare, but that did little to help.

John Fairfield

The entire guard force formed six rows in front of the door with the power armored soldiers in the front. The marching band had finished the anthem and formed behind the guards. One power armored soldier entered the Zodiac Tower with John.

Outside, John could hear the GP citizens clashing with the Lake Federation Guards, it was almost a riot out there.

John entered the meeting room with the guard, who was armed with a Wattz 2000 Laser Rifle. John shook William's hand and sat down in a chair.

"So, what are we going to talk about Director?"

The transport chopper landed somewhere near New Manhattan, Five men came out of it, met by Six others, the Six saluted the man in the center, Major Harry Pierce

"Sir, we are at the area of which the last given location the Fourteenth Infantry Company was at last. If they are dead, God rest their souls, but if they are alive, we must find them" said Corporal Peter Watkins.

"Okay, get your team ready, we are moving in." said Harry "Chopper! Stay on alert, we might need a Evac."

"Copy that Gold Leader, good hunting" the Pilot said with a chuckle.

After the chopper lifted off, the S&R team moved through the brush and ruined buildings, finding evidence of a Canadian Convoy.

"They've been here." he said as he inhaled his Cigar. As the team moved closer, they saw a cleared out path, then they found destroyed Canadian Trucks

"Those bastards!" exclaimed a Private

Harry ordered his group to go in to the City, whilst the other group to go around.

Leon "Eclipse" Graves - Mieux's Tower - Arcadia

Leon sat in shock as events transpired around him Justin Mieux had stepped down replacing him with Alex Scalatti a virtual unknown. It made Leon uneasy that he had signed the recent a deal with a man who resigned his post how was he supposed to know if this...Scalatti would honor his end. There were the awful rumors of him being a rabble-rousing terrorist, a mutant dipper, and other bad things.

I guess time will tell.

"Well Mr. Scalatti while I had planned on staying I think I'd better return to Port Neptune now. Let's go Garret!"

Director William Snowe

Sonia looked hesitantly as William shook Fairfield's hand as they both sat down. "So, what are we going to talk about Director?"

William smirked. "Good that you can be civil. In any case, there are a couple things to talk about, the first being a possible trade relation with the Federation and Antium. Now let's be frank here, vengeance won't bring back my wedding day nor control of new Manhattan. And vengeance won't bring back Laketon. While raising a city from the ground up...I have realized that."

He paused for a second and glanced at Sonia. She had a shocked and somewhat angry look, directed at John. No matter, William continued. "So what I propose to you is an equal taxed trade route between Laketon and Detroit to and from Antium. What we will be trading is a whole different matter. An easy trade is food for building materials. We have too many bricks, wood, and cement chunks considering all of Stamford is being stripped for Antium's Great Wall."

After a bit, Sonia stood up and yelled, "I can't believe you William. Just calling our ENEMY into our Penthouse without even giving me a hint! GAH!!" She stormed off into her bedroom and slammed it shut. William shrugged. "Ignore it."

Lyn Grave

Lyn merely shrugged at the mention of the girl. "Frank, based on how you acted last night, I can tell nothing happened between you two." She stated. "Besides, I think I have a bit of incentive not to be cheated on." She added with a chuckle. She took a mutfruit out of the kitchen's fridge, and bit into it. She studied Frank as she ate, watching him to confirm what she already knew to be true.

Archangel - PopGoesTheWeasel - Outskirts

Archangel had been watching the raider camp like a hawk for the last three days learning routines, gathering weaknesses, and assessing the overall threat level of his foe. The Black Suns that Leon had sent with Archangel had been sent to make camp out of sight so as not disturb Archangel's silent vigil.

As the Sun's were preparing to turn in for the night Archangel entered the camp. Every eye watched the man as he made his way to the camp center.

"This is the night, gentlemen. The raiders are having some kind of party and most are in a drunken stupor which gives us the perfect opportunity to strike. In an hours time we'll make our move so steel yourselves for battle.", Archangel rasped from beneath his helmet.

The man then left the camp as quickly as he came returning to his vantage point to continue viewing the raider camp.

Liam "Starrk" Conners - Port Neptune - Abandoned Warehouse

The last twenty-four hours Liam had been trailing Hector Carillo a suspected traitor to Port Neptune at the behest of Leon Graves. The wily assassin had followed the subject all over the city with no success of proving the man's guilt. But Liam finally thought he had a solid lead when he tracked Hector to an abandoned warehouse near Fontaine Fisheries. With a sly grin on his face Liam crouched as he snuck over to the dilapidated structure. Edging along the rusting wall Liam stopped when he heard a voice coming from the broken window he was sitting beneath. Unable to discern the words Liam crept further down the side of the warehouse until he could hear the voices from within.

"Graves has gone to far this time, Leonard."

"I agree we need to remove him soon as he's bad news for the Black Suns."

"Your telling me. You should of heard him yesterday convincing the assembly to let him make that deal with Arcadia. He's going against tradition and putting us all in jeopardy for whatever fool game he's playing."

"The good news in all this is that ridding our organization of this blight shouldn't be too difficult as he doesn't like keeping a security detail on him. The imbecile thinks he's invincible we'll show him just our mortal he really is, won't we?"

Several loud cheers could be heard coming from the warehouse. Liam getting what he needed now only needed to see how many of them were there before deciding a course of action. Slowly easing up to the window Liam peeked inside. Quickly counting he saw at least a dozen figures before he had to duck due to a guard patrolling the room.

Hmmm. To many to take down on my own but I need to get them all at once or they'll just start plotting with a new group. The best idea is to wait until they leave and capture one of 'em and see when they meet.

Sighing quietly Liam sat under the window waiting for the meeting to let out.

OOC: There will be a very interesting plot twist in this post :D

John Fairfield

Sonia Snowe stood up and began to yell at William, before storming off and slamming the door. John flinched a bit when she did so.

"Well, I see that she does not like me very much," John chuckled. To calm himself, he took a deep breath, and got to the buisness that was at hand.

"About the trade deal, we do make to much food. I really did not expect that food production would grow by 600% when I signed the Farmers Act. That is why we ship food to New Manhattan, Rivet City, and other places for dirt cheep prices. What we can't sell, which is a lot, we burn."

Then, the power armored soldier barged into the room and aimed his rifle at William. "You're time is up Mr. Snowe."

John raced over in anger. "What the [censored] are you doing! Drop that weapon! I command you!"

The soldier then took off his helmet, it was Vice-President Donald Crosby.

"You.." John manged to sputter out.

"Yes, it was ME who ordered the assassination of William before, I did not consult with you Fairfield, both of you must die for the betterment of the Federation."

Mayor Frank Vercelotti - Mayoral Estate

"Frank, based on how you acted last night, I can tell nothing happened between you two." Lyn stated. "Besides, I think I have a bit of incentive not to be cheated on." She added with a chuckle.

The Mayor heaved a sigh of relief. "Gee, thanks Lyn." he snickered, scratching the back of his head, his face rather reddened. Glad she can't read my mind. "Well, I'm gonna go and get her out of the mess she's in. Wanna come along?" he offered, pointing at the grand oak door that was the front entrance to his estate.

OOC: Somewhere in Antium.
And I get out of this plot twist how? The Penthouse is supposed to be William and Sonia's well...HOUSE with no guards.

Director William Snowe

"Well, I see that she does not like me very much," John chuckled. William shrugged. "She still has that whole vengeance thing in mind," he said and sighed.

As John began about the surplus of food, William's smirk grew bigger as Fairfield began to explain just exactly HOW much food the Federation had. And truly, he was impressed. But his smirk faded into sheer panic when the power armoured soldier pointed his rifle at William.

"Your time is up, Mr. Snowe," He stated. John tried to stop him but to no avail. And his power helmet was removed to reveal the Vice President.

"Yes, it was ME who ordered the assassination of William before, I did not consult with you Fairfield, both of you must die for the betterment of the Federation," the Vice President said.

William, despite having a gun pointed at him, stayed completely calm. Instead his mind was anolyzing on what would happen in his death.

Obviously my brother would take control...and try to retake New Manhattan the moment the Tesla Coil is done. I can't die, at least for Sonia's sake

His eyes darted across the room to see whether or not something could be used as cover and there was nothing. No guards, and all William had to defend himself with was a .357 Magnum on the inside of his suit.

William sighed and began to talk to the Vice President. "You say I must die because of the betterment of the Federation...but isn't that what we're doing? Both of our deals are mutually beneficial, don't you agree, Mr. Vice President?"

"Sure. She must be in Antium, and based on how your butler worded it, she will most likely be in a prison." She said before finishing the mutfruit. She took Frank's hand as they went out.

"I don't suppose you have any sort of transportation, do you? It will be a long walk otherwise." Lyn stated as she looked toward Frank.

Transportation?

The Mayor sighed as he left the estate and began walking on the streets of New Manhattan, hand-in-hand with Lyn. "Well, I usually run, but I doubt you'd be able to keep up." he mused. "How about you get on one of your pets, and we race?" he challenged playfully, throwing on his signature smile and dashing away with lightening agility, causing old newspapers and trash to trail behind him with the wind.

"Last one there is a rotten stimpack!" he cried from a distance, still sprinting away towards Antium.

Borgia Manus

Borgia and his team had arrived on "Queens" via boat to Flushing Bay. Borgia decided that travelling in low numbers would attract less attention, so only Borgia, the ghoul Anton and the Super Mutant Dom travelled. Once they arrived Borgia recited Alex's instructions to his team.

"Alright boys, we just keep walking until we reach one La Guardia, then go towards a Whitesone Expressway from Grand Central Parkway. Or was that Whiteton, it hardly matters. As I say, be on the look out for raiders. We have logs, a small canister of oil and matches. If we come across a small raider team and are feeling peckish, we take our chances. Hopefully raiders have decided to start taking ghouls into their ranks," Anton chuckled at this particular comment, "so that's that. Let's move out, fellas'."

Borgia and Anton were both carrying hunting rifles. Dom an assault rifle in his huge hands and a sledgehammer slung on his back. Borgia held Scarlett, his hunting rifle, firmly as the men began moving out. Scarlett had a scope modded onto it, Borgia had done this at a young age. He always preferred it to sniper rifles, any gun at that. It was trusty, and old. Ammo was relatively easy to find, and it held a great deal of cheesy sentimental value.

Borgia snapped back to the job at hand. No need to think about the past. The memories he had almost drifted into were pushed to the back of his kind, but Borgia knew that once he had began, he couldn't lock them away until he had thought about them thoroughly, reliving every moment in detail. If he did not he would be plagued with nightmares and would begin to feel sick, frequently throw up. He cursed himself for being so sloppy.

"Hurry the [censored] up, we don't have long to deliver this package. Or don't you want to get on the second most important man in New Manhattan's good side?" Borgia snapped, breaking into a steady jog. Anton and Dom both joined him, jogging along searching for raiders.

After a while Borgia and his two men came across a grand, crumbling roadway. It stretched on for a long way, further than Borgia could see.

"This must be the Grand Central Parkway," Borgia announced.

"Where do we go from here?" Dom asked, in his extremely well spoken and near-posh voice.

"We take uh... 20th Avenue? Just walk up it until we find a crumbling exit." Borgia bent over and inspected the gravel on the road. Thanks for the precise instructions, [censored].

After about ten minutes of wandering down the road, Borgia spotted a light in the distance. There was cars littering the side of the road, and Borgia crouched next to one.

"Investigate," Borgia ordered, speaking to Anton. The ghoul nodded and set off towards the distant glow on the road. Minutes later he returned.

"Four raiders and what seems to be a dead merchant. Two of em', two men at that, seem to be, uh..."

"Spit it out, Anton" Borgia said, irritably.

"They're having six, and the other two are watching and feasting on what I assume to be the dead merchant's supplies." Anton shrugged, "some sort of party. They seem to have beer, needles filled with god knows what. Y'know, a party."

Borgia processed the information. There was probably no way around them, but they seemed to be preoccupied.

"We take em' out before they know we're there. I'll sit at long range, Anton move in closer. Dom, you run into their little camp blasting and lunging. Move."

The men began sprinting towards the light. As they got closer, shouts and laughing could be heard. After a minute or so, Borgia could roughly make out a silhouette of two people. The light seemed to be coming from an elevated source, probably from inside a bin. Borgia slowed down and began jogging, his two men followed suit. Borgia eventually stopped and looked for cover, diving behind a rusted old car. He looked at the raiders through Scarlett's scope, and could clearly make out the four. Three men and a woman. Apparently the two men had stopped, as a man and a woman were having six on a hammock tied between two cars. The two other men, both naked, were sitting on the ground and laughing. [censored] animals.

Borgia looked towards Anton, who had stopped a bit further down. Borgia breathed in and waited a few more seconds for Dom to get into place. He then positioned himself and aimed Scarlett at the small joining taking place on the hammock. He didn't pick a specific target, he just aimed and fired. He hit the man, who seemed to be the one on the bottom. The woman continued for the split second before her head was taken off by Anton, too [censored] up to even notice the man under her was dead. The two naked men who had been laying on the ground watching the show had barely jumped to a stance before they were sprayed with assault rifle bullets. Borgia smiled. A nice meal before we continue our trip.

"You say I must die because of the betterment of the Federation...but isn't that what we're doing? Both of our deals are mutually beneficial, don't you agree, Mr. Vice President?"

Donald grew even more angry. "Don't try to squirm out of this commie, time to die!"

To this, John jumped in front of the laser rifle before he shot. "First, he is not a commie, that is just a recruitment tool, second, he's right. Killing him will only make things worse Crosby, you know, and I know it."

Donald groaned as he dropped his rifle and left the room. He slammed the door shut.

"Sorry about that William, now about the amount of equal taxation. I say, 6 percent will suffice?"
