Lyn Grave

Lyn hugged the wall and looked down it in both directions, looking for a gate to get inside. She see's what seems to be a heavily walled portion of a major road, as good a place as any to put up a major gate. It wasn't too far off, maybe a half mile or so. Before she could begin walking to the gate, the two wolves let out a simultaneous growl. She turned to look and see what the problem was, and it was a lone super mutant approaching on the street, armed with what seemed to be a large lead pipe. Lyn muttered a curse and took a quick aim with her rifle. Two shots from her semi-automatic rifle connected with the brute's left leg, and not a moment after Lyn turned and bolted for the gate, with the wolves obediantly following instead of fighting. She hoped the leg injury would slow the mutant enough for her to escape. She wouldn't want to have to sic her wolves on the mutant as a diversion. By the time Lyn finished her sprint to the gate, the pursuing mutant was nowhere to be seen. Gasping for breath, Lyn banged on the gate.

"If someone's there, open up! I'm not a raider, I just need to get away from the mutants!" She managed to yell between breaths. The gate opened far enough to let Lyn through, and Lyn walked in.

"Don't do anything stupid...and keep your dogs under control." A guard on the inside said. Lyn nodded to the guard, and walked toward the city.

Evander Jamison

elevators always seem to break the intensity and immersion, but at least he liked the song. The walk towards the elevator was relatively safe, except everyone in the lobby with a gun was eyeing him. He wouldn't be surprised if some of them knew of him from his past break-ins. Although it was never what he wanted, Evander was no longer neutral, he was somebody now in the wastes, besides just another holotagged hero. The song playing was calming as most in that time era was, and he exited in a slightly less rickety mood, his hand that much further off his gun From the elevator doors he could see the Don clearly, as well as the shotgun on his desk. Evander pulled out his own gun and set it on the opposite side on the desk, but in close reach to his hand in case he needed to make a quick grab. He sat down and got right to point.

"Can you tell your waitress to get us some whiskey please? I'll tell you after she gets it. I don't want you to kick me out before I can get a good drink."

Alan Sutler

Sutler lounged casually in the chair in his private quarters, smoke from his pipe filled the air in the small room. His decades of service in the U.S. Army coupled with his age of 62 and rank of Major had earned him the right to his own room in the Autumn's Leavers bunker. Some kind of savage battle had taken place between two tribal factions of sub-humans on the surface above, apparently the "good guys" won. He grimaced and reached for his ever decreasing bottle of whisky.

"F***ing wastelanders," he bemoaned after setting his pipe down and taking a heartly drink of the amber liquid.

The Enclave remnants that still clung onto life had taken a new turn, a turn in Sutler's opinion for the worse. Gone was proposition 312 which gave Enclave personnel discretion when it came to enemy aliens, gone was any plans for The Project which would allow them to re-build America, whilst Sutler could see the obvious benefits on reducing their enemies during the state of national emergency it didn't force him to like it. Hell outworlders were evening being taken on as U.S. citizens... But duty calls and he would never be found wanting. He drained his glass and arrose from his chair to inspect the commotion outside, he proudly marched through the metal corridors of the bunker and punched in the codes to open the main blastdoor; the exterior camp had been cleared whilst the savages shelled each other with stolen U.S. Government Howitzers.

The sound of celebration rang out in the air around the city, Sutler checked his pistol and with it in hand marched into the city.

OOC: Although Rabithead is a very good place, you forget that I still have the rockets.

William&Sonia

"The General has been neutralized and the Lake Federation is on the move."
"Good...Sonia, you can come out..."
Sonia crept up from the table and blushed a bit. She headed to the hologram projection and smiled. "Did you beat them?"
William shook his head. "Not yet...not yet."

"They're moving to Rabithead. Send Securitrons to harass them in the new camp."

After relaying the message around, the Securitrons who weren't destroyed in the frontal attack all started to funnel through the tunnel system to Rabithead."

Lake Federation

The camp is already ready? The Lake Federation had moved their camp about a mile away from their old camp, which was about 100yds from New Manhattan. The new camp was located about half a mile away from Rabithead.

The de-facto general moved to the podium and began to speak. "Citizens of the Lake Federation, our attack has..failed. So, in the mean time, we will seige the city from our location. There is an old town called Rabithead about half a mile away. I want all the colonists to form a Lake Federation city on that spot."

The colonists began to cheer. "We will have a foothold on the Empire Wasteland. The city will be called......New Rabitton!"

The colonists began to pack their bags and started to head in Rabitton's direction.

OOC: Changed the name because the Lake Federation is much more educated. New Rabitton sounds much more educated than Rabithead.

Sutler

The camp had been spared damage from the battle, and troopers were begining to retake their positions. Sutler, flanked by his trusted adjutant Sergeant Bird, approached the gate house for the complex, Sutler flashed his identification and the trooper saluted before decativating a forcefield and allowing Sutler to open the gate onto the ruins of a Manhattan street. A crackling sound signified to him the the field had been rasied and Suter paused for a second to listen to the sounds which filled the air, sunds of joy and laughter not heard by him since the 4th July party, 2276; he drew his pistol and signalled for Bird to follow him. They were going to a waster settlement called "Evergreen", a local den of vice; the settlement was surrounded by a huge wall and entry was granted at the whim of the current gate guard. He approached the gate of the settlement and was greeted by a nervous yet loathing glance from the gate guard.

"I am Major Sutler of the United States Army, you will allow me access to the city immediately."

"You 'clave boys aren't in trouble, I doubt you're going to spend any caps here. Hell you even got any caps?"

"We have some of your ridiculous local currency saved incase trade with your people is required, I do happen to carry a few with me when I wonder into your settlements, U.S. Dollars aren't always accepted."

"Fine, welcome to Evergreen, don't cause any trouble here either, heard the older you 'clave come the more bigoted and hateful you are."

Sutler made a scoffing sound and entered through the marginally open gate, Bird behind him heaved his Winchester P94 through, some distance in front of them was a women with a pair of domesticated wolves.

"You there, you with the wolves hold it right there!"

Sutler sprinted towards the women.

"What are these people celebrating, we of course heard the artillery fire but I personally have no idea what kind of battle has taken place, fill me in."

Don Frank Vercelotti

After a tense moment, the elevator finally reached the top floor; the Dons office. Through the doors stepped out an old acquaintance of the Dons; Evander Jamison. Frank smiled, and eyed him warily as he approached the desk and set his gun on the opposite side of his desk.

"Can you tell your waitress to get us some whiskey please? I'll tell you after she gets it. I don't want you to kick me out before I can get a good drink." Evander said, breaking the silence.

At this Frank couldn't help but laugh. Here we are, people who tried to kill each other no more than a month ago, and now we're sharing drinks! "Sure thing, pal" he replied, calling his waitress in to bring the drinks. After a short silence, a young woman entered the office, holding a tray with a bottle of whiskey and two shot glasses on them. She clumsily set them on the table and left the room, nervously, aware of the two guns on the desk.

"Thanks" Frank called, as she left the room. Damn, she's fine. he thought to himself, cocking his head, and admiring her figure for a moment. Shaking his head, he began to pour a shot in each glass, pushing one of them across the desk.

"So, to what exactly do I owe the pleasure?" Frank asked, casually.

Lyn Grave

Not two minutes after entering the gate, she heard a voice behind her, calling for her. She turned to the men as they sprinted towards her. The two wolves let out a low growl, but Lyn silently shushed them, reassuring them they were out of danger. "I'm not sure whats going on. I haven't been inside the city more than a few minutes myself. I heard the artillery too, so I would have to assume they won the battle." Lyn replied casually. Lyn noticed that both of them had weapons drawn, so out of caution she kept her hand hovering over her 9mm. Her trusty rifle would have to sit this out, it was too close range for a rifle to be effective.

Evander Jamison

Evander, despite his keen and mostly composed demeanor, couldn't help but admire the smooth curves of the waitress as she left the room. Figures like that were hard to come by in such a rough place. He turned back to Frank, tuning in to what he was saying. He had a drink in his hands and was saying something to the effect of a toast, Evander hadn't been paying too much attention.

"Here's to a new Manhattan." He rose his drink up and clinked it against Franks, then drank the whole shot before pouring himself another. The pungent, strong taste of whiskey always singed his nostrils, as if he'd swallowed a mini cherry-bomb. He hadn't had a drink in a while, and it felt good to have the alcohol work its magic. He fell back into his seat, not helping but to smile at the event layed out in front of him.

"I want to run for Mayor, and I want you to help me. I need endorsemants and could use the extra protection. Although I could very well do it without you, I'm not one to rush into things without thinking them out rationally. I know that Gauss Project guy is running, and I'm sure they came to you already. In fact I know they have, but me and you both know they aren't whats best for this city." He ended by looking out through the full scale window, indicating the old metropolis that was now in the midst of three-way chaos.

"I'm not a man for politics, I hate the government an anything that touches it, but it wouldn't be very noble of me to allow this town to be ruined. That said, I want your help."

Sutler

Sutler noticed the women keep a hand near her pistol, he witheld a snort of derision.

"They? You have no idea how participated in this battle? Then again, ignorance is expected from wasters such as yourself; your incapable of understanding what it's like to fight for a cause greater than yourself."

He looked back at Bird.

"This waster is of no use to us Bird."

Sutler began to continue down the road, Bird looked at the dogs and the women before attracting attention of his Gattling laser, once he felt the women had got the point he continued after Sutler.

Don Frank Vercelotti

"Here's to a new Manhattan." Evander said, clinking his glass against Franks'. The Don then proceeded to down the whole shot himself, cringing from the burning sensation. After they had both finished the shot, Evander poured himself another shot before opening his mouth to speak once more. "I want to run for Mayor, and I want you to help me. I need endorsemants and could use the extra protection. Although I could very well do it without you, I'm not one to rush into things without thinking them out rationally. I know that Gauss Project guy is running, and I'm sure they came to you already. In fact I know they have, but me and you both know they aren't whats best for this city." he completed, turning to face the office window that overlooked the region.

Frank nodded and opened his mouth to speak, but Evander beat him to it, adding another comment; "I'm not a man for politics, I hate the government an anything that touches it, but it wouldn't be very noble of me to allow this town to be ruined. That said, I want your help."

The Don then paused and thought for a moment. I've already made a promise to the Gauss Project, they gave me tech. and they gave me my life. This guy almost took that, and has nothing to offer me in return.

"You obviously know the city very well" Frank began. "Meaning you know the people in it" he said, swiveling his chair round to face the window. "Meaning you also know how we run." Frank completed, turning back around in his seat. "Our word is our pride, and we gave our word to the Gauss Project Director." he said leaning forward, trying to appeal to Evander. "Listen buddy, Willy is a good guy. He knows how to get [censored] done, he will make this city better than ever. We at the mafia will make sure of it." he assured. "Now, I know you want in on the action, so I'll tell ya what. I'll give the Director a call, and see where we could plug you in, maybe give you a slice of the cheese? What do you say, you could run the trade and commerce of the whole town?" Frank asked, picking up the radio. "Could be a comfy spot to be in" he added, preparing to call the Director and informing him of this proposition.

Lyn Grave

"Not the type of people I would want to be with...Good riddance." Lyn mumbled to herself as she spotted the nearest bar and began walking towards it. A bit of whiskey would help her relax, and the wolves looked like they wanted to lay down and rest. Once she reached the bar, she took a stool and called for a bottle of whiskey, after putting a handful of caps on the bar. Without a word, but with an anxious glance at the wolves now laying next to the stool, the bartender scooped up the caps and replaced them with a bottle of whiskey and a shot glass. Pushing away the glass, Lyn takes a long swig from the bottle.

Sutler continued down the street, Bird in tow, until he reached his destination.

"Here it is Bird, the CAPone. Maybe someone here will have the infomation I need. Keep your Gattling ready Bird, these wasters mightn't take to kindly to us."

They entered the plush looking casino and waded their way to the bar.

"I'll take a glass of whiskey and two bottles to take with me, oh and a beer for my compatriot here."

"Thanks sir,"

"Don't mention it old boy."

He threw some caps down to pay for the drinks.

"I'm after some infomation of the highest order, know someone who can help?"

OOC: Since this is your club alex man142, can you answer for the bartender. Your character who owns this club is a guy who could get infomation right?

"Ann, Lemme check on my squad's casino."

Alex left the penthouse and proceded into Central Square. They were stilll burning Lake Federation flags in the square. The CAPone casino was hardly functional, but Vladimir did some repairs on it. It will still undergoing renovation but it was open anyways.

As Alex entered, he noticed a suspicius looking man on the bar. The bartender pointed toward Alex right after the man asked a question. Alex walked behind the bar.

"Whats up sir? May I help you?" Alex asked.

Sutler

Sutler looked at the man talking to him, although Sutler argeed that he was certainly this man's superior he got the feeling that this gentleman wasn't a waiter.

"If you couldn't otherwise gather from my uniform and the large, power-armoured gentleman here wasteland-dog, we soldiers of the U.S. Army. I am Major Sutler (Sutler instinctively flashed his identification) and I require infomation on the surrounding area, more specifically the location of a certain building. Do you think you will be able to assist your government? Also, there appears to be some kind of "celebration" going on, perhaps you can brief me in on that too?"

Alex stared at the man. Enclave? Well hot damn! Havn't seen them in a while! "I see you are part of the..Enclave, the people who tortured my friend Vlad...hmm.'"

Alex took out a glass and began to clean it with a rag. "Lemme get something straight, out here, you ain't the goverment dig? This place is more lawless than the Wild West. But..I could answer you'r questions, for a price."

Bird

Bird placed a his gloved hand on Sutler's shoulder, comrades of old he knew Sutler would forgive this infraction, it wasn't the first time he had stepped in to ensure Sutler's hot head didn't take over, then again it wouldn't be the first time he just went along with what usually followed critiquing the Enclave in front of Sutler.

Sutler

Sutler felt the hand on his shoulder and comprimised, keeping his anger to a mere facial expression.

"The fact that "Vlad", or indeed any of you are even exist justifies torture and I garuntee you that in my 44 years of service in this man's army I have both done and ordered much worse, do not test me ever again."

He drained his whisky.

"Onto business, in addition to your continued existence I suppose some kind of incentive can be offered, what would you require to simply mark a location on a map."

Alex laughed. "If you can beaten by the idiots at the BOS then anyone can beat you." Alex calmed down and got back into his buisness tone. "Fine, what locations would you like to know about, I have seen the entire Eastern Seaboard, all the way from Conneticut all the way down to the Great Lanta."

Alex took out a map of the area and put on the bar. "And by the way, i'm a pure human, 100% pure, I am from a vault."

Sutler

Sutler scowled.

"If I your wife and son were buried alive in a bunker I doubt you would see the humerous side, citizen; and as "impresive" as your roaming history is, the location I seek is a little closer to home. A Vault 110, which if wastelander rumours are to be believed, is un-opened?"

"Ring-a-ding, that vault is unopened. But I dont trust you Enclave types. You tortured my friend Vladimir at Adams, just because he flew in from Siberia in an airplane! He landed at your base and and you tortured him..wrongly. I'm glad he escaped......."

Suddenly, the door opened. A man wearing a fur coat and an Ushanka entered the casino. "Get away from here you [censored] Enclave [censored]heads!"
"Calm down Vladimir!" Alex pleaded.
"Hell no! You fools tortured me, and my girlfriend Anya, I should cut your head off and hang it on a pole!" Vladmir yelled with a heavy russian acent.

Sutler

Sutler looked at the Russian and remembered the whole incident.

"Yes you probably should, if you look at your right arm that's my handiwork with..." He pointed to the ripper by his side. "With this very same instrument. As Secretary of Homeland Security is was my department see."

Sutler causally jabbed his thumb back at the Gattling laser being wielded by Bird behind him.

"Believe it or not I always operate under the assumtion that someone, somewhere hates us."
