Lyn hugged the wall and looked down it in both directions, looking for a gate to get inside. She see's what seems to be a heavily walled portion of a major road, as good a place as any to put up a major gate. It wasn't too far off, maybe a half mile or so. Before she could begin walking to the gate, the two wolves let out a simultaneous growl. She turned to look and see what the problem was, and it was a lone super mutant approaching on the street, armed with what seemed to be a large lead pipe. Lyn muttered a curse and took a quick aim with her rifle. Two shots from her semi-automatic rifle connected with the brute's left leg, and not a moment after Lyn turned and bolted for the gate, with the wolves obediantly following instead of fighting. She hoped the leg injury would slow the mutant enough for her to escape. She wouldn't want to have to sic her wolves on the mutant as a diversion. By the time Lyn finished her sprint to the gate, the pursuing mutant was nowhere to be seen. Gasping for breath, Lyn banged on the gate.
"If someone's there, open up! I'm not a raider, I just need to get away from the mutants!" She managed to yell between breaths. The gate opened far enough to let Lyn through, and Lyn walked in.
"Don't do anything stupid...and keep your dogs under control." A guard on the inside said. Lyn nodded to the guard, and walked toward the city.
