New Map suggestions

What about a Team Deathmatch map? I know that all maps are associated with specific intros, but it would be nice to have a map like in the "Be more objective" challenge. Instant action without objectives, a no-brainer for pure action. Or even enable this and altered versions of the other maps as Team-DM version.

Well I play Brink for it's objectives, though I guess a Team Deathmatch won't be bad.

I would continue to play for objectives, too, of course, I just thought that adding TDM would be a nice addition, introduce a different experience and keep the long-term motivation high.

Uhh no, I don't want TDM in this. Idk about other people, but I would probabaly trade in this game if I even saw the letters TDM in Brink. The reason why is that this game is different from other games, and it's also a objective based shooter. I don't see any objective in a TDM other than killing, which to me, shouldn't really be in an objective based shooter. Also I think that a TDM will really change this game, and make it to where it's not the game I saved up money to play.

I can't see why being different from things that work since years should be the goal at all costs. It's not that the objective based gameplay would suddenly vanish. The game is already different and adding TDM would only add to the fun, not destroy the identity.

Team Death Match doesn't make sense. How are either side working towards their goals by senselessly murdering one another? Besides, TDM are boring compared to objective driven matches.

TDM in a game where stats arent tracked, KDR isn't shown, and class XP values are balanced around completing objectives. I think there just need to be more maps like the indoor mall (the one where the resistance is trying to get the heli out of the tree then take its nav computer to the exit)

There are objectives for all the classes. The soldiers need to blow the heli down and blow the debris from the nav computer's path.

Engineers need to escort the nav computer, construct MG nests and disarm explosives.

Medics need to keep everyone up and moving, they need to adrenaline the soldiers to plant explosives and keep the health buffs rolling as always.

Operatives need to hack open side exits, and hack to end the game.

I REALLY HATE missions where you only need like 1 class to complete all the objectives. There should be 1 primary or side mission per class per map so the guys that like to play soldier don't feel useless on most maps.

Where they going to do dynamic objects on the maps? I remember watching a video where there is a security checkpoint that uses lasers that set off an alarm when you pass through it but you can either jump over it or slide under the lasers so you don't set it off. What happened to that idea?

Brink is an objective based game, simply adding TDM would ruin that. What happens to the objective wheel in a TDM?

Brink is unique to its objectives. Adding deathmatch will not make Brink a unique FPS.
