New marriage options in Dragonborn?

Post » Mon Feb 04, 2013 6:18 am

I ask this, because I came across a particularly flirty Dunmer, who's actually pretty good looking for a vanilla Skyrim NPC, and that made me wonder if this DLC added any new marriage options? The Bosmer and Kajiit are still without marriage options 1 year after release, does this DLC give them any?

Hmmm, interesting. Here's to hoping it's a nice Bosmer.

I'm not sure if there are quest-related requirements for this, but I just put on an Amulet of Mara and Morwen in the Skaal village was surprisingly keen on the idea of marrying my character. I think I'll wander around Solstheim for a bit, asking random people to marry me.

You can marry two of the Nords from Thirsk Hall if you side with them.

-The female (not the leader)
-The Blacksmith

You need to do quests for them first though,

Are these the only two confirmed options? Not that I'm complaining, but more Nords? We have the entire base game to Skyrim out to, I was expecting something a bit exotic for a DLC set in Solstheim.

Go to an island mainly populated by Dunmer and we get more marriageable Nords.... go figure.

I think bethesda is just truelly and horribly racist... we need more (attractive) mariagable options besides nords!

Well, so far I haven't been able to find any others... This is why I'm still unmarried, they won't let you marry the good ones! Can't marry Serana, can't marry the chieftain's daughter, etc.

Oh for crying out loud, its the "CHEATS AND SPOILERS" forum lets not be vague. You can marry a Skal chick named Marwen/Morwen who lives in the Skal villiage if you do a partcular quest for her. She is the only marriage eligible person I know of in the new DLC.

Confirmation on being able to marry either Nord in Thirsk Hall would be neat. As for Villethx, yes. In Skyrim it's 'even in death, you will not part', meaning if your spouse dies, you aren't allowed to remarry. As far as I know, anyway.

Morwen, Hilburn and Halbarn Iron-fur are the marriage options. Yes, they are all Nords. Kind of a shame really, my Telvanni Dunmer isn't much of a fan of the vanilla Skyrim offerings as far as female Dunmer are concerned.

If they add divorce option, they should fix respawn bug. I saw this bug reported first time few days after Skyrim released, still we dont have fix to this bug (this pisses me, maybe others off) I quess Bethesda is time look into this.
