"New message"-indicator

Post » Thu Dec 01, 2011 9:42 pm

Hello!

I noticed that the "New message"-indicator isn't working correctly when I'm in the home page.
You see I have read the message and when I'm in the forum the indicator shows 0 new messages.
However when I'm in the home page it shows 1 new message, the one I already have read.

For my part it's not much of a problem at all however I've got the impression that you are using your own forum software, G-face? Since it's a bit buggy because it's new. Just noticed that it says on the bottom of the page that the forum is powered by Gface, haha :). That's very cool. I like that about Crytek, you create many tools. That way you can make them better and use your own tools without needing a license. Great strategy.
Thought this could help you make it even better.

Hope this helps, have a nice day.

Yeah, I noticed the "bug" too.

Crytek is using phpBB ( I love it :D) as forum software and Drupal for the main page I think

Aha ok, thanks for the information! Do you know if they are costly?
I'm wondering because I'm interested in maybe creating a community site someday.
