New Microprose Games : Othor Games

With gamesas aquiring some old but popular Microprose titles, I wonder what their plan is. We may see some of these on the Wii or XBOX live but I bet they will remake some of these. Thoughts? :?:

Conquer Series: Conquer the World, Conquer the Skies, Conquer the Universe
M1 Tank Platoon Series: M1 Tank Platoon, Tank Platoon 2
Subwar: Subwar 2050

Any news here? I'm surpirsed these games are not in the list of gamesas games yet :cry:

Seems like another opportunity to leverage IP

When did this happen? Which IP's?

Which part of MicroProse still exists anymore anyway? Weren't they making HDMI cables and stuff a few years ago before going under?

A a lot of the key titles MicroProse published went to 2K with Sid Meir, Atari during the buyout, and to Microsoft with the FASA stuff IIRC so there isn't much I'd really want.

Thanks for the link, but wasn't Conquer the Skies a collection of Civilization titles? If that's the case, wouldn't 2K have the rights to that stuff? Haven't heard of the other Conquer stuff.

I would really love to see some updated M1 Tank platoon. Those kinds of sims were my fav games back in the day. Used to play that, F-117 Stealth Fighter, Gunship (AH-64 Apache), F-15 Strike Eagle, I also loved Hunt for Red October even though that was not a Microprose game. ~Merry meet and merry part until we merry meet again~
