New Monitor Suggestions

Post » Wed Nov 18, 2015 2:41 pm

So with this years tax return I'm looking to purchase a new monitor at under $250. My current one is a 19" 1440 x 900 Acer. I would like to get something larger at a higher resolution that my card R9 280 3GB can handle. Im not sure what that would be though as im not savvy on monitors.

I think anything larger than 32" would be overkill but I do want something larger. I sit about 3' away from my monitor in my current set up.

Any advice or suggestions is appreciated

For an large and cheap 27" (gaming) Monitor, take to your consideration this one:

That looks really good for the price. Is it a good brand like LG or Asus?

Some BenQ monitor series are even better. !!!

But for that screen size and price, i would say that's a bargain. ;)

I have an Asus ROG Swift. 27 inch, 144Hz and 1440p. Your single card won't be able to make the most of it, but it is still an exceptional monitor and means you have something nice to enjoy when you get an upgrade in the future. And at £450 it is reasonably priced.

Just saw your budget. The above probably won't be for you. Maybe a BENQ?
