Setting/Story: Remnants of an entire city have been found in the west. The city is named New Palino. The city has a dark and bloody history. The people had an entire thing going on, schools, a police force, over a thousand citizens, even running cars. But a group of brutal murderers thought to have been impossible to pass the gates killed every police officer and murdered every last citizen.
Locals of nearby settlements claim the city is haunted, but others also claim there is pre-war treasure under the city. It was heavily guarded when the city still stood. The chemical facilities had a failure after the city's disfunction and a mixture of chemicals ended in a spill, and the chemicals got to the corpses. The certain mixture of chemicals and nuclear mixtures re-animated the corpses and mutated them into hideous creatures. The mayor of the nearby town of Rockbound needs you to find an old water purifier so Rockbound will have clean water. Rumor has it the purifier is where the pre-war relics under the city are.

Enemies:
Desolia Raider:(level 1-25)
Seeker:(mutated human of New Palino, right arm is extremely large and muscular. It is the tank of the mutants. Average level is 20-25. They have a ton of HP.)
Charger:(mutated human of New Palino, human slightly enlarged. They all are in hazmat suits and face is not seeable. They run extremely fast and do a devastating blow. When killed, blood shoots onto the faceframe of the hazmat suit. Average level is 18-25. They have high speed, have a high amount of HP, but not as much as the Seeker.)
Screamer:(mutated human of New Palino, they are the same size of a normal human, and are very, very weak. Their downside is that they yell out a deafening yell to attract other mutants when they spot you. They have the highest sight of any known creature. They can also heal other mutants. They are the average mutant of New Palino, along with the Plaguer. Unlike the Plaguer, they are uneasy to spot, due to their human stance and visual nature. Average level 5-15. They have extremely low HP and are easy to take out. Stealth is best on them. Their strength is extremely low as well, and stay in the back and continuously scream to attract more mutants.)
Plaguer: (mutated human of New Palino, they are the same size as a Screamer. They are easy to disinguish from a human and a mutant. They have a sicklish green skin color and normally are covered in tears and blood. They are the pawns of the mutants. They only have two attacks. Melee, and spit. The spit attack is what gives them their name; their saliva contains the plague the mutants have, and the only cure is in the far away city of Rockbound. You have three days to live when you obtain the plague. Fortunately, they can only spread the plague if you get within two meters of the nasty creature. Average level 1-20. They have lower health and strength than a Screamer, making them the weakest of their kind.)
Quests:
A meeting with the Mayor: Word spreads across the wasteland that there is a new settlement to the west. After hiking through the mountains with a man named Gruber, you come into the valley of Desolia. Three cities stand in the valley, but in the center of the valley is the city of New Palino, larger than The Pitt. You are told by the guide to go to Rockbound, the biggest city still with people.
As you enter Rockbound you stare in amazement. It is nothing like you've ever seen. Desolia is the most advanced province on the east coast. Rockbound has several apartment complexes, a few running cars, and a lot of people. Some citizens of Rockbound were citizens of New Palino, but weren't there during the massacre. The mayor greets you at the front gate. He tells you to stay away from New Palino, but you convince him to tell you about it. He tells you the history and what happened. Then he mentions the treasure. He says he couldn't say more, and if you wanted to know more, to see a woman named Elena, who used to be a citizen of New Palino.
Quest complete! Achievement gained.
Quest added: Relics
After asking aroud town, you find Elena in her home. She tells you about the treasure, but if you ask why sh is traumatized, she says her entire family was slaughtered. She has also seen the murders of New Palino, and escaped to Rockbound. She mentions the purifier under the city and that he mayor needs it. You leave her home and go back to the mayor. He tells you he needs the purifier because there are several deaths in the city from irradiated water, despite how much they've prospered. He asks you to look for it, and you agree. He tells you to be extremely cautious.
After passing through the plains of Desolia, you reach New Palino. The front gate is rusty and withering. There are several skeletons at the gates, which is an area to find the New Palino police helmet and the Tactical assault Rifle. You continue through the gates into the ruined city. The tall buildings and empty streets make New Palino a horror-themed city. After finding the capital building of the city, you go inside and discover the horrors within. Humans hideously mutated into terrifying creatures.
Make your way to the Mayor's Office and read the Mayor's terminal. It explains the city's treasures deep in the city's sewers. After exiting the capitol building, the quest is complete.
Quest complete! achievement added.
New quest added: Finding the Treasure
Make your way down the sewers. There are more mutated humans that you must get through, and get to the maintenence areas of the sewer. Terminals say that the only way to the lower levels where the treasure is, is by obtaining the key. The log explaining where the key is is broken and unreadable. The location would then be unknown, and you would have to search for it. When you make your way to the disposal tunnel, kill more mutated humans and find the keymaster. He is a stronge, more powerful Charger. His hazmat suit, unlike other chargers, is white, which makes it easier to distinguish them.
After killing him, he has all the sewer's keys on his corpse, including those to the armory and medical facility, if you have the balls or the ammo. Go back to the maintenence areas and go to the door in the back room that leads to the lower levels. Unlock it with the key. Once you get to the final room with the door to the treasury, you attempt opening it but it requires a passcode. Just then, a Seeker breaks through the wall and attacks you. It is a special Seeker, called the Treasureman. Kill him and find the code on his corpse. You gain access to the treasury, which contains hundreds of bottle caps and Camoflauge combat armor, and also various other weapons, ammo, and armor to your liking.
Quest complete! Achievement added.
New quest added: New Palino
When you reach the front gates of New Palino, there are hundreds of Raiders from Woodridge. You can choose to escape without being spotted, or kill them all for the power armor(raider power armor only found at the encounter or at Woodridge). When you get back to Rockbound, you can choose to give them the purifier chip for very good karma, or take it for yourself for very bad karma. It makes all water and food you find un-radified. Once you made your choice, quest over and you may come and go any time you please(if you take the chip, all citizens of Rockbound become hostile.).
