New pc parts

Post » Tue Sep 06, 2011 10:21 am

I have an Intel Core i5-2500K and a ASUS P8P67 (REV 3.0). at stock. They operate fine under normal conditions but when I use a stress test program (prime 95) to check for hardware faults the computer locks up in 15 minuets when it should run 24 hours with out problems. temps max out at 51c, idle 27c, motherbord 37c. What should I do?

15 minuets?

They use music to stress test a machine now? :D

Grab memtest386, make a disk, and run it. Will tell you if memory is the issue. (RAM)
