______________

Fallout 4's latest patch has gone live on Steam, but all is not well.

It's broken mod functionality for some people, meaning all their hard-gathered additions and tweaks are gone and any effect they had in-game, like extra settlement buildings, have disappeared.

Thankfully, solutions have already been found.

SOLUTION: >>> Just launch the game and don't click PLAY. Then open Nexus mod manager and activate the mods, then on the launcher click PLAY and mods will be active. <<<

 That's not a very large list of fixes for how long the game has been out.

Seriously hoping they have another patch soon, because this one ain't gonna cut it considering a good number of my game-breakers and extremely annoying ones weren't mentioned.

Whether intentionally or unintentionally, the numpad keys no longer map to their respective numbers. While I appreciate the efforts to add additional key mapping options to the game, I suspect that this change may introduce additional inconveniences, especially to those who are left handed.

What is the official version of the new patch? The last beta was 1.2.37, but in-game the new version number is shown as being 1.2.7. And yet according to the Fallout4.exe file, it's internal version number is 1.2.37.

The version number shown in game appears to be a typo - missing the 3.

THey released two betas. I think they released 1.2.33. Not 1.2.37 unless they just mashed the two together.

I opt'ed in so I cant tell. Someone who hasnt opted would have to say what version they have.

It's okay - found the problem. It was F4SE causing the wrong version number to be shown in-game. Will let them know about it (if they haven't already heard).

Yes, they released two betas: 1.2.33 and then 1.2.37. The last beta version number is usually what becomes the new released patch version number. If that makes sense.

I could have sworn I read that the Monsignor Plaza bug had been fixed in the beta. Does anyone know if it's fixed in the release patch? I've been avoiding the area so as not to run into it.

Yes, that's a Steam issue that has been around for a while. According to my Steam library I'm running beta versions of both Skyrim, Skyrim's Creation Kit, and Fallout 4. It gets stuck saying beta if you've opted into the beta and didn't opt out of it before it was released as the official game version - the beta tab disappears but you are still opted in on all future betas.

Hello guys. Very helpful stuff in there.

Actually, i have the same problem, as some of you. Even if i have opt out the BETA patch, steam says I'm on beta. Also the game says v. 1.2.37.0.0

So, do i have a problem?

Should i re-install the game?

If someone has any clues, that would be very helpful...

Im 1.2.37.0. Im opted in though. I dont think opting out will downgrade your version. Not sure though.

So i guess everyone is on 1.2.37 now.

So much for fixing the invisible lock picking screen I just tried it in game and see that wasn't repaired in this latest patch. Guess I have to once again set game off to side I paid for and wait yet again someday to able to play it one day when they fix that bloody problem, until then the game useless playing without that feature working...

The fact it says Beta in the name of the game doesn't make a difference. Whatever steam calls it that doesn't change the files. Probs be fixed in the next update :)

Yup... it's not a big deal. Why people are bothering to 're-install' the game in Steam just to opt out of the beta is beyond me.

But the issue won't be fixed unless Valve change how Steam works. It would be good if they changed it so that when the developer releases the beta and the beta tab disappears it automatically removes everyone from being opted-in to the beta. It is a bit silly that you can't opt out of future betas if there is no beta currently being publicly tested.

Yep, seems an oversight on Valves part more than anything. Should be systems in place to sense check for this sort of thing.

I've been able to use my keypad for weapon/item hotkeys since game release until this patch came out. Now my keypad hotkeys don't work at all and I am limited to the top row number keys. Am I missing something here? I don't see any way to reassign my keypad to once again select weapons and items from my Favorites list. It would be really nice if all of the controls could be rebound to user preference as opposed to being hard-coded.

No fix for dropped enemy weapons not despawing, a bug that carried over from Skyrim and was never fixed there either.

This causes savegame bloat and increases loading times.

The game seems generally less stable for me since this patch.

I have been one of the lucky ones, in 230 hours of play ive had zero crashes. Fairly smooth fps with only an occasional drop. No broken quests.

Since the patch I've had.
Bad stuttering for 3-4seconds when entering open areas.
Random crashes when loading my game.
Corrupt save's earlier in the day, seem to be ok at the minute.
More noticable fps drops.

I noticed this from day one and have been going around picking up dropped weapons and putting them in dead body or container, just like I did in Skyrim before the Unofficial Patch fixed it. I had hopes that they would fix this in FO4 but now I've given up and just hope they will release the CK soon.
