New patch.. Dragons tougher?

Post » Sun Dec 11, 2011 9:24 pm

Anyone else this with different dragons?

Been hit with tail, wing and bite attacks now. Was picked up in its mouth and it shook me for a crap load of dmg then threw me. So I dunno if it got a finisher on me or what but that's the first I've seen or heard of it =/

They could always do that. Had it happen to me day 1.

There's already a solution: The Difficulty Slider.

Look at the dragon name to determine its strength. "Dragon" is the weakest. "Frost Dragon" is stronger (I believe? Unless it's just a variant of Dragon). "Blood Dragon" is stronger than that, and "Elder Dragon" is even stronger. I haven't encountered anything tougher than that, but there might be even stronger beasts out there.

Dragon, Blood Dragon, Frost Dragon, Elder Dragon, Ancient Dragon. (Weakest to strongest).

Unless you exploit the system or play on a low difficulty you should find the Ancient and Elder Dragons quite challenging. Elder start too show up around level 36+ and the Ancient around 45+.

Some are saying that the patch erased their resistances. Nords are getting killed by frost, etc. This is the PS3 patch that just came out. There's no telling if this will happen on the other platforms.

:tes: patches aren't usually exciting, just bug fixes usually.

If they didn't specifically say they made dragons harder than they probably didn't. Beth is not known for changing gameplay based on forum complaints.
