All it does is force you to use steam to play the game. Seriously.

you dont want to know the patch notes trust me. just got this as well. deleted my tes5.exe fuile. had to re-download it. i also get half the fps that i usually do. actually below half and it looks worse godam hate steam.

i believe the notes were
-stops some FXAA injectors working
_stops that more than 2gb of RAM fix from working.

stops the game working without steam, DRM type thing i guess. im going to delete my folder and reinstall the game and try avoid the patch. since its screwed my version.

There was a story that Steam uploaded about the number of copies that were sold. But I didn't see a patch.

Because this wasnt a patch they want us to know about. It doesnt fix anything, but it robs alot away from the players, preventing them from being able to squeeze more performance out of the game that it desperately needs. Mine doesnt even WORK with out the LAA modification.

Why? I have no hell of an idea. I've never known a dev who put something out that intentionally lowered the already dismal performance of their own product.

The Skyrim LAA patch issue has been fixed. The same thing happened with Fallout: New Vegas, and they simply ported over the same method of getting it to work on FNV. http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1013

yeah its odd, but pointless
apparently you can add the tesV.exe with the LAA modification back on the new version. i just wont to know why im getting horrible performance again. it annoys me got skyrim runniing perfectly despite it being so horribly optimized. now im back to square one.....

Pretty much how it goes sometimes. Until DLC time anyways, then they will throw us a few scraps to get more of our pocket lettuce

Steam never notifies you about updates..

You just.. start up your PC one morning, go to play Counter Strike Source (a 7 year old game, mind you) and get slapped with a 2 hour update...

...[censored], i hate steam. :sadvaultboy:
