I'm not really sure how practical this all would be either, especially given I would be changing perk trees that the game uses throughout.
COMBAT
- Crafting (Smithing): A simple rename since I feel it more fitting.
- Defense (Block): Another rename; includes unarmed, weapon and shield blocking.
- Melee: Combine one-handed and two-handed with some overlapping perks, and new unarmed.
- Physical: Athletics, acrobatics, stamina-based perks.
- Protection: Combine Light Armor and Heavy Armor and new unarmored.
- Ranged: Rename; bows and crossbows.
STEALTH
- Alchemy: Unchanged.
- Sneak: Unchanged.
- Speech: Unchanged.
- Survival: Covers resistances to cold/fire/poison, skinning and killing creatures.
- Thievery: Combine Lockpicking and Pickpocket.
I need an additional skill under Stealth but haven't came up with one yet.
MAGIC remains unchanged. I pondered combining Alchemy and Enchanting as I'd really like Alchemy under Magic, but can't think of a joint name. Another option would be to split Alchemy in half, so potion-making would go with Enchanting and cooking focused perks would go with Survival.
Anyway, any feedback is appreciated.
