Hey guys and fellow Elder Scrolls fans, I have Skyrim Legendary Edition with All 3 DLC'S

Gonna start a new game and play a different class Mage for combat, and also stealth.

Have any of you guys started a new game file?, what classes did you go for and where are you up to?

That's a silly question. Nearly everyone here has created a new character in Skyrim. Best part of TES IMO.

I rarely create characters. I don't have the awful disease of 'restartitis'. I usually stick with the ones I make.

Anyways, I usually make Warrior. Sword and Shield is my favorite.

My last character was a Blood Archer until i accidentally overwrited the save. Vampire that focused on archery, stealth and conjuration with a deathound companion.
New character is basically an archer that joined the Dawnguard to rid Skyrim of all evil things and helping others until she has a taste of what a vampire life is like after Serana transforms her. Then evil corrupts her.

I'm not sure if you're serious - people start tons of new characters, with all types of builds. Check the history of the forum...

To answer your question, I've only had four PCs since I started playing in Dec. 2012. The first was an jack-of-all-trades 'cause I was just starting. The second was a battlemage which wasn't too successfull 'cause I still didn't know what I was doing, the third was an illusionist thief which was tons of fun 'cause I finally got the hang of things and the current PC is a pure fighter (two hander, heavy armor, Orc) which is tons of fun. Next is going to be a pure mage.

I think the single, most important, lesson is to keep your perks focused on just three or four skills or you'll have trouble keeping up with the baddies as you level.

Made two new characters recently, a Nord mage and a Nord warrior-healer. Played the mage until level 35ish, while the warrior-healer is level 17 or something. Fun times.

Give the guy a break. He's (or she's) new here. Unfortunately, someone else will have to provide the fishy stick. :)

@ OP: As stated above, most people here starts a lot of new characters. Some have a few, others have too much spare time a LOT and start new all the time.

Personally, I've just started up a bard, who will defend himself mostly with Illusion (I figured that would be fitting for a singer and sweet talker)., but he'll also use a sword for close-up combat. I plan on keeping him mainly in clothes, maybe mix in some light armor later on. We'll see how it turns out. I've never really gotten the hang of Illusion before, so this is sort of an experiment for me. Good thing is, he's already found himself a ring and robes with Fortify Illusion enchantments, so it's a good start, I guess! :)
