New Playable Races?

Post » Tue May 03, 2011 4:02 am

do you think there should be more playable races than there were in oblivion? give your thoughts on this. if so what races do you want to be able to play as in TES: Skyrim? should there be more, less or the same amount? :tes:

I don't think so, I think the choices we've had so far are perfect.

I don't know what races someone might add. Goblins? And don't begin about the Akaviri races, let them have their own mystery about them. If you really want new races, wait for the mods to come out, if you are a PC player, that is.

Its not lore friendly to add more playable races.

With the new player customizations, there should be plenty of variety for the individual races to stay fresh. The standard 10 should be plenty!

The problem is that playing as a daedra would cause a lot of NPC's to instantly see you as a threat and try to kill you or at the very least not want to talk to you.

No more races, thanks. If anything, concentrate first on creating different and unique gameplay styles for each one of the already avaliable ones. THEN we'd talk about including new ones.

No. It would completely undermine the lore from all previous games if they suddenly introduced a new race out of the sky. NO ALIENS EITHER!!! The only way I think they could possibly pull off another race is if they introduced an isolated population of dwarfs living underground or in a hollowed out mountain or something, that for some reason decided to merge back with the rest of the world in this game, and then you might could play as one in TES VI.

i dont think deadra should be considered as an evil race, i see them as a race that consider themselfs misunderstood, they are just trying to survive

If you want it, someone will mod it. TES needs to keep this game TES.
