New player - looking for house mod to collect things

Post » Mon Aug 22, 2011 8:57 am

I'm a Morrowind veteran. I just started playing Oblivion two days ago. I didn't really play much with it, (I finished the tutorial dungeon and handed the necklace to the monk), but I already see, that I really love it. :)

I'm a packrat so I would need a home with containers, manequins, book shelves and stuff like that. Could anyone point out such a house mod, which I would be able to use from the very beginning of the game (after the tutorial dungeon I mean)?

any other mod suggestions that you think is "mandatory" would be welcomed too.

non generic:

Probably check the "free" category.

Integration is also an intriguing option here. For one thing throughout the course of the quests you earn several houses, and in addition to that they all have a container which can be accessed from any of them. furthermore you can even purchase more of these containers to connect you vanilla houses to the storage network as well. Only problem is that it is only a single container so if you put a massive amount of things in it there's the old lag issue when a container has a lot of items.

If you want the most help possible it helps to give as much information, and uniqueness as possible.

Here's my generic written thing for these topics. if you want something specific give more details. I ask some questions in the below text as a small guide line. You can answer them if you wish:

I recommend a pair of mods: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20630, and http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35720. Tchos' is a four story tower with great atmosphere and lots of storage, an enormous library, great alchemical facilities, and a floor with 6 beds for companions (and COBLized food and drink). It does not have any armor/weapon/mannequin display area, though, while Armory Lab 5 is great in this area, with hundreds of mannequin pedestals, plenty of weapon and armor display cases, etc. I use mark/recall from Supreme Magicka to get instantly between them, but it would be easy to go into the CS and create your own teleport ring.
