I can't decide.

Typically I don't use the minigun. I love the missile launcher for when I am standing up on that cliff looking down at an Enclave outpost, or for blasting away deathclaws from a distance. The flame thrower is really good for if/when I miss the sneak attack head shot in close quarters and those Muties get too close...but when I don't pack one I miss it, so I don't know which is my favourite!

Favourite is flamer, just because it's awesome.
Oh and rock-it launcher, that's so much fun.

I rarely use big guns, if I do though it's Eugene for me.

Eugene is my mainstay. No poll option for Vengeance, which would be my second choice. Need a poll option for the Heavy Incinerator, which would be my third choice.

I cannot be bothered with miniguns.. although they're pretty powerful by the time it loads it to fire, I'm already have mutilated by the enemy. >:|
Much quicker to burn them or blow them up. >:)

I don't generaly like big guns but sometimes I'll play around with a fat man or incinerator if I happen to find one.

Mpls Big Daddy the heavy incenerator would fall into the flamethrowers catagory
As for the vengence i haven't seen one ingame yet.

If you've used it, I don't think it should go in the flamer category. It's like having your own F4 Phantom loaded with napalm.

I just found my first heavy gun today, the mini-gun. I found it near Rivet City when I helped a slave get out of the Mutants hands.

Agreed Incinerator > Flamer

So my vote would go to the F4 Phantom

I love the flamer. I think it's the best way to take down super mutants from up close. When I played my big gun's character, I used it in any close quarters areas. So, houses, tunnels, buildings, etc. I, on occasion, used it out in the open as well, when groups of stuff (e.g death claws, yaos and melee raiders would run at me). Was also good for bringing down those pesky, pain in the butt enclave guys.

Personally, I thought the rocket launcher wasn't well done. You could argue that, the way it moves and changes direction is realistic, but you can't effing use it at medium--long range so, I just prefer tossing a grenade or launching a mini nuke for those cases.

And then miniguns. Meh. Sorry, I think they svck.

No MIRV option?

I don't care for heavy weapons (guess it's time to make a Big Guns character) but if I have to use them, the Heavy Incinerator and Vengeance are the only way to go. I can't hit the broad side of a barn with the missile launcher even at 100 BG skill and miniguns don't do it for me either.

What about the Gatling Laser?

I'd have to say the Heavy Incinerator, though I hardly ever use big guns. Small Guns or Energy Weapons for me...nothing else.

For a companion, I think the Burnmaster. When I have Fawkes and Cross together, I give her the Burnmaster, and she's my close-in specialist. Fawkes and I (with my A3-21) handle the distant stuff. For personal use, I like the Heavy Incinerator. Less damage, but it uses less fuel.

No Gatling Laser, no vote.

Vengence is the ony weapon that is worth putting points into Big Guns, I mean collecting the respawning skill book.

Hmm. I don't remember if it was Slo-Burn Flamer or Rapid-Fire Flamer...
Anyway, one of those were freaking awesome.

The Heavy Incinerator's my favorite too. Outside of VATS, you can just walk your shots right onto your target.

I've barely used the Fat Man in previous games, but on my current (FWE-MMM) game, I've had to use it quite a bit more. It was the only thing that allowed me to get through half a dozen Sentry Bots without Robotics Expert at Level 16.

Experimental MIRV is my fav if only for the spectacle, the only trouble is it uses up ammo so fast you can probably only use it four times in the entire game. Other than that, the Gatling Laser but I don't use it much because it makes the game too easy.

eugene is a a epic weapon easy to repair and get ammo for at high lvls and is the [censored] vengence degrades to fast and the mirv has a mini nuke addiction.

I really dislike using heavy weapons. Only the rock-it launcher was sort of fun - killing stuff with pencils and paper money.

I thought the Heavy incinerator was fun. If I do use a heavy weapon, its usually the Gatling laser
