New problems after patch

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 9:17 am

Hi guys. I saw today that the new patch had come. So when I started the game and was playing I noticed that I had some very bad lagg issues. It was like sometimes I teleported forward then back again and sometimes it felt like someone else was playing on my char(I couldent turn and so on for like 1-3 sec). Its really horrible because before the patch the game was very smooth no lagg at all! I have read that ATI players got some problems but I have Nvidia so I shouldent have any problems. My comp is pretty good, like Nvidia 480GTX and 8 GB ram memory and 3,0 GHZ quad core processor. So shouldent this setup run this game smooth? Tell me if you guys have any problems and if someone know how to fix it? Thx guys =)

new patch makes this game even worse to play. SD = incompetent. they have till the end of the week else im getting a refund.

new sound errors on maps that were ok.
my metabolism keeps resetting back to 0 even if i dont use it
worse fps than before
maps just turning into spawn raqes
people vanishing infront of me

this game is a disgrace at the minute.

last SD title i ever buy

soooo pissed at the moment and i feel ive wasted £200 on a gfx card to play this game, really not a happy bunny.

Smoochy, I agree Im really mad! I feel sorry for you to have bought the GFX for £200 but I hope they fix it soon so you didnt spend those money on nothing. I just noticed the thing when the players dissepaer I was like wtf! But well if they can fix all those problems this game will be epic! Its so fun when it works which is like 1 out of 10 games -.-

i dont have time to dike about trying to find a decent server. i only got that card to play this game. i only get a few hours a week to play so i feel like im wasting my time now, i quit playing tonight after so many bugs in just 2 maps. this game has potential but like so many games these days stupid decisions and poor testing means we buy an alpha release, personally im sick of it. its the last time i pre-order any game. i dont pay to beta test for lazy devs.

opengl has always been a buggy POS. thats why i always thought the unreal engine was better than the idtech engine.

Ever, ever thought about what the GL after Open means?

I'am pretty sure it means Good Luck.

I will laugh my ass off when Rage will run 10x better then Brink on a heavily tweaked new version of the engine.
