After reading the top post saying that the patch was available for the ps3 and xbox, i assumed that when i turned on my console i would have an automatic update ready for me. but nothing! my game still crashes every time i try and enter V.A.T.S mode.

Any ideas?

dunno what your issue is as yesterday morning when i turned the game on i was met with a msg for patch 1.01. did you sign in to your PSN account first?

yes patch 1 01 was in 24 hours ago for me. I dont know what it did . I actually froze 2 times in an hour after it. and before only 1nce in 40 hours of gameplay.

I get prompted to download it every time I sign in. My theory is if it isn't broken, then don't fix it... so I haven't downloaded it. (I personally haven't had any issues that I really think are worth downloading a patch for.)

Ugh. I just downloaded the patch and now I can't even play the game. It won't even start up.

Delete the install data, not your saved data and reinstall the game, should work fine.

I take it this is just for the US as I haven't had any news of an update in Britain?

I am almost sure the update is live in Britain (or Europe anyway). Are you connected to the internet?

Yes it's connected to PSN but I haven't gotten any word or popup of it in the UK game yet, i'll probably wait until IGN confirmed it and i still don't have it to start worrying.

Does anyone know if there is a way to be able to check if it has been updated? I had my internet on my ps3 yesterday (finally redeemed my code for the classic pack,) and i think it may have updated but i am not certain.
