You're right.... So I should stop pronouncing all these words in a Norwegian dialect, eh? :P I know it's a made up language, but Norse tongues are the only thing to which I can compare it.

And with what would she be mixed? The Nords are quite racist you know. The hair would be the first thing to go darker, not the eyes. That's genetics 101...... I think.

But an almost pure Scandinavian/Nord wouldn't be brown-eyed. That's the most accurate "stereotype" of all. Maybe she's someone special, and the only brown-eyed Nord in the game? Idk.......

Both Morrowind and Oblivion had Nords with non-fair/light hair and eyes. There's also a little something called GENETICS that might explain her brown eyes. Imperial/Breton mother, father or grandparent perhaps?

The game is centered around a civil war between a pro-Skyrim faction and a pro-Empire faction, so...

Still, although it is entirely possible, I find it crazy wierd that she has brown eyes with blonde hair..................

I know no one with that combo.

Read my edited version, plz. I said something about that.

Facepalm myself! I just realized that my own mother has brown eyes and blonde hair.

EDIT: So, it's genetically possible.

There..... Like I said, totally possible, but I haven't the pleasure of knowing any such person like that. My cousin has a certain condition from which he has a blue eye and a brown eye, but he's like me, geneticly, so no biggie there.

And I see a bit of a trend with the blind eye. Both the orc and the other bald guy in the mead hall had one. You think Bethesda is going to over-use them in attempt to make everyone appear more veteran-like and bad@$$?

Oh shnap, dude. I'd ask for a pic, but that's creeeeeepy........ :whistling:

I dont know. i think you might be over-doing it on the stereotypes a bit. u have to remember, the game's taking place in Tamriel not Europe.

Plus in oblivion, we could make nords with green blue and brown eyes, and i never payed enough attention to their eyes to be sure, but i bet there were a few brown eyed nords in around

It's only two characters so far, a Nord and an Orc. I think they want us to know that Skyrim is a rough place. AND that we can definitely have a blind eye. :celebration:

Maybe. Green eyes look gorgeous with blonde hair. (Only saying that cause the girl I know that has those genetics is amazing.) It makes more sense too. But, alas, you are right. Tamriel, not Europe........ I tend to structure things more in reality wherever I go. :

About the scarred eye thing: Nah, I think they only showed it to us this often to display that customization is improved, and is it me or is that guys scar on the left eye while the orc's was on the right? Thats awesome!

It would make sense for my character's scar to be on the right, since I would want him to be left handed - making his right side slightly weaker with defense.
Yep, guess we will have to migrate to a new thread soon.

In reality, that's a SERIOUS handicap. Try it out. It's weird, for sure. Your depth perception is screwed up, and you often can't get a clear visual of things.

Very interesting...I wasn't aware that the Witcher 2 was also an open-world game with extensive character customization. /sarcasm

I never said the Witcher 2 was open world but it has a lot of open areas where a lot is going on all at once and the fact that Skyrim is open world is not going to cause the graphics to look like they are vacuum packed in plastic wrap. Everything looks a bit too shiny in some areas and has too much light reflection in my opinion and that has nothing to do with graphic capability. That is a stylistic choice that I just usually don't like. Character customization also has no basis on graphics so maybe before making an argument, of which you think you have a valid point in, only leave in the parts that make sense to what the subject was about. All of this aside we already know they aren't taking advantage of the DX11 to the fullest with even the PC version which is a bit disappointing considering as gamers we spend hundreds of dollars to rig our PC's to handle that sort of thing. Like I said before, I will still love the game and still play it and those were just my opinions about said graphics so maybe next time try to be a little more respectful and leave out the /sarcasm.

Ah...reminds me of Daggerfall, in which you could choose advantages (sort of like perks, but some are really powerful), but also disadvantages (some drastically bad).
It helped with roleplaying a bit, but sometimes I just felt overwhelmed if I chose too many disadvantages on one character, lol.

Lol... Two blind eyes.... AKA, NO first person at all. There goes the issue over graphics!

Call me weird, but I just ran around with one eye covered to make sure that what I said wasn't a load of bull. It turns out, it wasn't. :teehee:
