I guess what I mean is it need to look more organic and less unnatural. I know someone will create a great texture mod. But it would be nice to have a better feeling (organic).

Guys, chill out. The graphics won't be so amazing on the PC as to blow every console-owner away. Todd Howard touched on that somewhere. Besides, how many months till this game is shipped? A few. They're tightening up everything they can, and I'm sure it'll look better on the disc.

Gah the engine looks good in some places... But looks ugle in others..

I understand, I;m sure it will be amazing and we can always fix what they didn't have time to do... But come on they cant be that limited to graphic. Turn down this ulimited field of view i;ve been hearing about, optimize and Crysitize.

If the xbox can play crysis 2 and bioshock infinite than Skyrim should look that good.

The second screenshot is great.

Really not sure I like the mammoths though. Both the fur and the grass look terribly unnatural. Yes, it's a 360 screenshot, but will the PC really improve it that much? I hope so, but I have my doubts.

I need to see them in motion on the PC obviously, but looking at that screenshot, I'm having a hard time imagining that the mammoths will look natural or move in a realistic way.

On a positive note, it'll be exciting being chased by something that huge

Honestly, can't tell if serious. The game looks amazing. You're either A: doing something I'm not aloud to call you out on because it's against the forum rules, but it rhythms with "gnoll", or B: just visually inept.

off topic - just watched the trailer again, and when Esbern says "There's one they fear..." and the music starts to reach the climix into the TES Theme, I got the most amazing chill in my whole body, when they release the final Main Theme I'm going to listen it time after time.

Skyrim looks amazing, and it doesn't look like Ice Age. Only someone who is joking would say that, because it's laughable.
And lol@everyone who cries out for the best graphics possible in a TES game. That's not possible, not with current gen tech. And guess what? Most of bethesda's buyers are console buyers, proven fact.
They are going to cater to the masses, that's how you do this thing called making money. Logic. It's hard, I know. :rolleyes:

Also, open ended games like TES cannot have the top notch graphics available like TW2 and Crysis 2. Those games look that good because they are small. No game as big as the open world of TES has those kind of graphics, because nothing could run that. Again, common sense. It's a killer.
You are demanding something that is not feasable nor realistic. If you want a game that has no cells, 100% best graphics, and open streamless worlds that require no loading screens to do so, become a game engineer and do it yourself. You'd then see why people don't do that. With the tech they have to work with right now. It's. Not. Possible.

People.......... The difference in graphics between console and PC will be VERY LITTLE, if any at all. In fact, I think Todd Howard said the consoles might actually look BETTER than the PC. Hold your breath, shut up about the graphics that this lovely company will pull together oh so easily, and enjoy the ride.

The mammoths belong to the giant. Notice the markings on their tusks. The giants seem to groom the mammoths as well.

Of course Crysis 2 looks better than this game. It's very minimal technologically compared to Skyrim, because it's not one huge open world and doesn't have to deal with complex NPC and creature AI and the like.

The mammoths DON'T have that type of hair.

And also I have no idea why you linked that "mountain troll" earlier on. Not only is the Skyrim picture NOT OF A TROLL, but the pic you linked looks MORE cartoony.

The first Crysis is both a PC-exclusive and not an open-world game. Crysis 2 is also not open-world and is more linear (plot-wise) than Crysis and is graphically inferior to Crysis in some regards (building destruction and flora specifically). I can't take your complaints seriously anymore.

Uh, no, it will look better on PC unless you scale down the graphics because your PC svcks and can't handle it. It will have higher resolution, greater distance view, greater resolution and the option of antialiasing, at the very least, on the PC. It makes no sense that it would look worse than consoles at top settings.
