As one who lives near the mountains this is actually quite common to see snow in places and 40 yards away no snow at all. Usually depends on how sunlight hits it (melts it). This spring the snow on my lawn melted and my neighbors across the street still had a foot of snow on theirs.
hm okay, good to know. I'm a Floridian, so i don't have mountains or snow. However, i have gone north quite alot, mostly the new england area, when it's snowing.
It's okay if some places the snow is like that i guess, but still, I hope SOME places have to have a less immediate transition from grassy to snow. all and all, with your testimony, i think this screen is fine, but i hope its not ALWAYS like that.
