I didnt create the mammoth though I really wanted to. :( Aside from that I think its best if you guys discover all of these things during your adventure rather than have me spoil anything for you guys. Trust me its all worth it.

I would prefer this actually :D thank you.

Those pauldrons definitely look attached to the armor dude

Who's to say there aren't "raiment" types of armor and traditional types. Sort of like the Arena Raiment was one piece.

I think they look attached to the cross-harness he's wearing, but not the armor itself. My question is, why do we keep seeing this cross-harness thing (It's even on the Dovahkiin wallpaper here in the forums) despite the different armors?

2 possible answers to your questionment.

1: it is the art direction who decided that this is how they want most armors to look like because it looks much more nordish

2: pauldrons might be separated but the real item could be harness it self (2 pauldrons as 1 item) just like gloves and boots are 1 set of items

Dude, are you blind ? That's not a hood ? There is nothing above the hair, the dark eyes could be something else... ?

It's a hood.

I really hope those are BABY mammoths. They were only a few feet taller than the humanoid.

No2 is what I'm thinking, because we see the Same Armors with and without the "Cross-Harness", but we always see the Cross Harness with Pauldrons. At least on Light armor. For Heavy Armor, it might be hidden under the plate.

It seems to be a common theme in Skyrim that it′s really hard to tell what kind of human you are looking at. I′d like to think he was a redguard because of his skin, but he′s not nearly fair faced enough for that and his skin could just be dirty or tanned, he′s not looking very much like your average nord in facial features and not really imperial either, his face is like a mix of imperial and nord, only darker.

Is it just me who has bad eyesight and can you guys see instantly what race he is or are the human races starting to blend together into one in Skyrim ? I′d like to see some difference in features at least to a point where it is recognizable what race a face belongs to.

After seeing these new screenshots,
I've reached a solid conclusion.

Yeah,
Graphics don't matter.

That humanoid is a giant. Giants are about 8 or 9 feet tall. So...

I find this funny, we keep quoting the dev and that rises the post count up to 200 allowing him to go back to his bunker.

I really do like the mammonths, if only we could ride one of them.
