Gonna put my last response to the last thread in here.

Anybody up for another round of "scrutinize every little detail in the new screenshots to figure out whether or not pauldrons are in"? Unfortunately the bits of the Nord's raiment extending over his shoulders seem to be all part of a single mesh, but you can also see the edge of what looks like a separate, lighter-colored pauldron covering his left shoulder.

Also, that's a mighty impressive belt he's wearing. I hope with the smithing system my character will be able to wear skulls as a codpiece.

I think your right, looks like separate Pauldrons to me anyway :D I hope your right.

I see a Mammoth-Toothed Candle on the right side of the picture. What looks to be some sort of meat on the table, not very sanitary just leaving it out like that :P just teasing. Barrels in the back that make me want to explore them. A carpet below the Nord that actually looks separate from the floor, nice job on that ;)

Looks good :D

So are these Skyrimmers just running around carrying scissors all the time?

Why do they keep poking their eyes out?

Probably my favorite thing about the in-great-hall (Bald guh) screen is all the random clutter. Looking at it, you can see the regional influence, some is more easily pronounced, such as the candle made out of horn. But etchings on the random tableware as well.

Though again, not the best game in sheer fidelity, the amount of flavoring detail worked into each scene clubs down the competition(If you can even call it that) like a bear during the Ristaag.

I didn't even realize that the mammoths had FOUR tusks until someone mentioned it and then I reexamined the screenshot. SWEET!

the Orc and this Bald guy both have one eye poked out.

Didn't their mothers (or kindergarten teachers) warn them not to run with scissors?

EDIT: by my calculations, roughly 25% of the population of skyrim is blind in one eye. (if the screens we have seen so far are representative)

I think in the orc screenshot he was missing an eye too. So he was making a joke about everyone missing eyes and running with scissors.

So it looks like we definitely have scarring, facial features that can be altered, and markings/tattoos. Other than that, I'm still anolyzing.

In the mammoth one, I love how there's a cloud between the perspective shot and the mountain.

Everyone poking eachother with swords probably isn't good for the cornea.

I don't think that's a a mammoth tooth candle on the table, if your talking about what I think your talking about. That looks more like a horn.
A mammoth tooth looks like this:

That either eye (both eyes?) can be blind is probably not something that was in doubt, but it's interesting to note that the http://cms.elderscrolls.com/sites/default/files/tes/screenshots/OrcNight.jpg blind eye is his right, while the http://img836.imageshack.us/img836/3927/baldguy.jpg blind eye is his left.
