New Settlement DLC Idea

Post » Mon Feb 15, 2016 10:23 pm

Hello Everyone!!!

Earlier today i was building my settlement up on spectacle island and before you all go crazy!... I'd like to say i know spectacle island is the biggest in the game and its huge but my problem is, the terrain! its very annoying to work with and almost impossible to build and make it look nice at the same time as managing to build good fences and defences.

So i thought that maybe Bethesda should develop and release some new settlements as a new DLC maybe...? Include them in the Season Pass as an extra thing maybe...

Maybe the new settlements should instead of being inland, maybe Bethesda should add some new islands...

There is a lot of free ocean space off the eastern commonwealth coast and i think that instead of wasting that space, maybe there could be some new settlement islands!...

I think that rather than having a large island that is very hilly, we should have something that is slightly bigger than spectacle island and also as flat as possible, while still trying to keep the natural touch to it.

I am on PS4 So I cannot install mods.

I will update the post if i think of anything!

I Would LOVE To Here Some Feedback!

Goodbye!

Well, according to http://n4bb.com/fallout-4-mods-update-to-xbox-one-ps4-best/, mods will be coming to the PS4 at some point. Given that I personally have several ideas for settlement mods, the odds that someone will build the one you're thinking of (or you'll do it eventually yourself) are pretty high. :)

Holy [censored] that text is hard to read. I don't understand why people use custom text on forums. I wish it wasn't even an option.

That being said, there are already 30 settlements in the game. I've built some huge settlements at Spectacle Island, and plenty of other people have. It can be a little tricky to get things started because of the terrain, but it's not that bad. It's my favorite location to build. Given that there are already 30 settlement locations in the game, I can't really say that I feel a need for more of them. The only way I'd see it as a good idea would be if it was just a small part of a much larger DLC, such as a new region of the map being opened up for a new quest line, with a new settlement location included in it.

you can use the base platform thing to make artificial flatter areas. Like a sort of tiered system of piers and platforms. it's not perfect but it gives you a flat surface at least.

this also gives me hope that something might be done to add more island settlements to the game!

Ps I will change font colour!
