I like how all credits go to "lazygamer.net" when all they did was a straight copy and paste from Hines' Twitter feed.

I guess that gives their site name credibility, at any rate.

?You can save anywhere. We don’t do checkpoints. We now have a 3 autosave system though.
?Yes, there are children. No, you can’t hurt or kill them.
?[autosaves] alternates between 3 slots. You set time interval (5, 10, 15, etc) as well as if it saves on sleep, wait, etc.
?No, there is no hardcoe mode.
?Finishing moves happen randomly. They aren’t under the player’s control whether you see them, or which ones you see.
?On Music: Yes, there is a lot of everything. There is hours (plural) of music [by Jeremy Soule] here.
?We don’t do deformable terrain. Creating a beautiful, seamless outdoor world w/ no loads is hard enough as it
?On crafting enchanted armor and weapons: You can buy them or create them yourself. DIY is certainly cheaper. May or may not be better than what you’ve found.
?You can put weapons or magic in either hand. You can only equip shields and torches in your left hand. Bows as well.
?Yes, settings determine how hard enemies are. [Difficulty] adjusts some based on your level and it’s more of a range.
?Subtitles for everything in the game. As with our previous games.
?Yes, there is button mapping

I marked the one that was wrong. You cannot equip a bow in your left hand. You can only use a bow right-handedly (left hand on bow, right hand on bowstring)

Thanks OP :icecream:

Doesn't anyone else think it's wierd that the OP started this thread but didn't respond to anyone's comments? Has that ever been done?

Now this I've to see. Bethesda isn't famous for creating "seamless' outdoor worlds with no loading.

Beware, people around here don't like console games being brought up
But I agree I thought the snow was good when it first came out.

On topic: A few things listed were new to me so its not a complete waste of a thread

Guess we'd better leave out the fact that it's being developed for PS3 and Xbox 360, as well as PC...

I know there is a thread for children, but still don't get the point in including them if they can't be killed :P

Anyway, I think it was pretty clear there are roughly going with the same system of saving and the like. Autosaving in Skyrim would just feel weird and is hard to do in an open-world-rpg like that anyway.

Thinking of the PC version here...

What do you guys think they mean by 'Button Mapping'? Is that similar to the 8 slot wheel from Oblivion?
I realize we now have a favorites menu that can pop up quickly and select spells/weapons/armor to assign to the character, but i was hoping they didn't completely do away with the wheel or (hopefully) expanded it.

It would be nice if you could put more of the keyboard to use in terms of assigning weapons or spells to switch to very rapidly. Specifically if you are playing any combination of spells and weapons that require you to alternate your hands very quickly in a tense battle. I was never into modding for Oblivion so I'm not aware of any mods that expanded the 8-slot wheel system.

What would really awesome is a mod that lets you assign scripts to a button, for example:
1. I wanna cast a strong fire spell.
2. Program a script a swap in all destruction boosting armor and spell in one click.
3. Another one-click script swaps me back to defensive armor and weapons/spells.

It seems like there is room for improvement here, but we'll have to wait and see what Betheseda comes up with first.

I saw this also. I posted it in another thread yesterday. Here is another fact. Recently on the Facebook page they releases a bit of info. Every town has it's own economic system. Not sure if this is something new or something that has been improved on.

It was sarcasm over the people that are always "blah blah its not PC only" and stuff like that. Not really meant to be taken seriously.

Good day sir

I might sound like a sadistic [censored] with my following statement, but i would like to be able to harm children. :sadvaultboy:

Think about it;

You are fighting the Legion in the town square, arrows are flying, steel is swong - when little bobby comes running, and you just launched an arrow in his direction. Think about how bad, and what a emotional moment that must be, i know i would be quite disgusted of myself..
