New Skyrim info coming in Playstation the Official Magazine

What's with the faction names? Fighters guild sounds better than "the companions".

Are you kidding me? Fighters Guild is SUPER generic. The Companions at least makes it seem like some sort of mercenary band (which I hope the quest line points towards).

Be careful, The Companions is actually just a cover up name, to make people THINK it is just an escort guild, but you should see what they are really doing... :flamethrower: :toughninja: :mohawk: :swear: :ninja: :chaos:  Ohhh the beuty of fake names, as soon as you enter one of those halls, you will see how tough and evil these guys really are. Just imagine how dangerous they would be if they called themselves the Purple Unicorns and had their own tavern called The Pink Pegasus. Terrifying!!

Be careful what you wish for, there are still lots of factions yet to be revealed...

...and I understand there are some "bronies" on the dev team :bolt:

Could you get quotes from the article on a couple of things? No H2H, and random quests. I just can't believe they'd actually do that... I'm pissed.

It's still there. Just not a separate skill.

Dialogue:
60,000 line of recorded dialogue, more voice actors

Oblivion had 60k lines as well, so no change there. But in keep in mind that with Radiant Story in Skyrim, this includes many identical lines of dialogue that only differ in a few words (like the name of a dungeon or NPC).
I am afraid this might lead to even less quests than in Oblivion.

I thought Oblivion had far less lines. Fallout 3 has more than Oblivion right?

I had heard that Oblivion had over 9, 000 lines of dialogue, and I know that Fallout 3 had 40, 000 lines of dialogue.

Fallout 3 had 40.000 lines. So no, it had less than Oblivion.

Skyrim has 100+ subquest same as Oblivion not counting the Factions, Daedric Prince quests, and the main quests.

Way more options than just Madness Ore and Amber. I assume we'll be able to make weapons and armor from them. Perhaps trinkets and rings, too?

I wonder if we can combine ores, too, to make interesting alloys with greater effects than a single ore.
